Lumen Hotel & the Lisbon Light Show

My overall stay at this hotel in Lisbon was excellent. The room was spacious and newly renovated, and the front desk staff provided exceptionally high-quality service. A major bonus was the unlimited complimentary bottled water available upon request, which is a rare find in Europe where most hotels only offer one free bottle. Another highlight was being able to watch the light show directly from my room every evening. Although the hotel isn't in the absolute city center, it's conveniently located right next to bus and metro stations, making getting around incredibly easy. The only minor drawback was that the room cleaning wasn't always as thorough as it could be. Occasionally, there were lingering stains or residue on towels, cutlery, or bed linen. I'd recommend checking these items upon arrival and simply calling the front desk for replacements if needed. Overall, my stay was very comfortable, and I'd highly recommend this hotel; its service quality is top-notch in Lisbon.

I call this the best value-for-money hotel in Lisbon! First off, the service is excellent. After check-in, the front desk staff will tell you about the hotel facilities, pool hours, and the start and end times for the light show. Then, a bellhop will carry your luggage and show you to your room! I was very pleasantly surprised to find a weighing scale in the bathroom! If you're coming to Lisbon, just go for this hotel. I'm definitely not a shill!!! Chinese people don't lie to Chinese people.

The room was quite spacious and offered a nice light show. The location isn't ideal; you'll need a taxi to get around. Housekeeping was a bit late. I also found the bath towels looked rather dirty, which was quite off-putting.

The hotel room was a good size, and the bed was especially comfortable – just the right firmness. The hotel is located in the new town, so it's a bit far from the main attractions, meaning you'll need to take a taxi everywhere. However, taxis in Lisbon are quite affordable. The light show at night was pretty nice, but once was enough for me. Service was also good, and you get a 30% discount on dinner.

We booked the Deluxe King Room with city views. The 2.2-meter king-size bed was incredibly spacious, and the room was spotlessly clean. The rooftop bar offers fantastic views of Lisbon and a pool for guests. I highly recommend the hotel's 10 PM light show – it's truly unique! And don't miss the delicious egg tarts at breakfast!

The hotel is a little over a kilometer downhill from the old town. While it's a bit of a distance from the main tourist attractions, both the bus and metro stations aren't too far, and the surrounding area is very quiet. Taxis are also cheap and convenient. The young front desk staff were all very warm and welcoming; anything we needed was brought up right away. Every night at 10 PM, the hotel has a 15-minute light show featuring many of Lisbon's sights. I missed it the first night, but I made an effort to watch it the second night, and it was quite interesting.
