Very friendly family ran hotel. The greatest advantage is its location, which is only a few mins walk from one of the viewing platforms. The room are well maintained and clean. We booked the sunrise view room and the balcony looked like a painting. Logistically, you need to take the village tourist shuttle to get here from the Ping’an Village parking lot because it’s located within the protected area. You must let the ticket vendor know the name of your hotel so they drop you off at the right one (there are multiple hotels inside the protected area)
This hotel is also about a 30 min walk from another viewing platform, which I would recommend doing if you have the time, as the walk was mostly flat and the scenery along the way was very nice as well.
Breakfast is quite typical of the area and the dinner was also quite nice. Overall would stay here again!

My stay at Hotel Longsheng Huanlongge Panorama Inn was absolutely wonderful! The property is nestled in a breathtaking location with stunning panoramic views of the Longsheng rice terraces. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and provided a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly , food is home-made and genuine. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this inn for anyone visiting the area!

Recommended! You can drive directly to the downstairs of the homestay. Although there is a long staircase to climb up, the boss helped to carry the luggage up and down 👍Then the room is very large and spacious, and it is also quite new, which is in sharp contrast with the outdoors hahaha. It is a smart toilet, and the floor-to-ceiling windows and balcony are very comfortable 😌Live in the mountains and eat three meals directly at the homestay. For lunch and dinner, you can order stir-fried dishes, and for breakfast, you can get rice noodles and eggs for free~ There is also delicious rice wine for meals haha. During the Chinese New Year, it feels like the off-season here, because the weather is bad, it rains and fogs, there are few people, and the scenery is not as beautiful as in summer. But just treat it as a leisure experience in the mountains. And it is pet-friendly~

Hygiene: The room was very clean!
Environment: The decoration is in wooden style, and the furniture is made of solid old ship wood, which is heavy and has a good texture. The doors and windows are triple-layered for sound insulation, keeping warm, windproof and soundproof. The air conditioner is on in the winter night and the room is very warm.
Service: The owner and his family are very hospitable. They upgraded our room for free and are very pet-friendly. I enjoyed gathering around the fireplace in the hall to keep warm, roast oranges and drink tea.
The rice is delicious, I recommend the stir-fried local chicken, it’s so delicious, the ingredients are very fresh!

The room was very clean and the terrace view was right outside the balcony. Breakfast is rice noodles. You can order food in the lobby and help deliver it to the room. The service is very good. The hotel is shuttled to the Longji Rice Terraces Visitor Center, where you transfer to the bus to and from the rice terraces to Guilin. You can fish for free next to the hotel. It’s about 20 minutes away from the Golden Buddha Summit and you can watch the sunset.

I booked it on Ctrip and was unexpectedly satisfied, especially in terms of transportation. The sightseeing car passed by the door. The room was spacious, the transportation was convenient, and the service was warm and thoughtful. It was very convenient because I called in advance before going and they picked me up at the parking lot and also dropped me off when I checked out. I was especially satisfied with the food and meals. They were delicious and they often asked me what I needed, and I could feel that they wanted to take care of even just one more thing.

We felt very uncomfortable, really as if we were bothering someone. I have never experienced anything like this before. In my opinion, the price-quality ratio is not good. Expensive for the service they offer. We had to ask for things for breakfast if they didn't give us anything. They wanted to charge me for a glass of milk for my daughter and finally they didn't charge me. I guess they realized that we were in a bad way. We asked them for bread and they bought us some. Longji is worth it, but the choice of hotel greatly overshadowed the experience.

GGuest UserThe trip was totally worth it. The proprietress and her family are very nice. The bamboo tube rice cooked by the boss is very delicious. The bamboo tube chicken and chicken soup are also highly recommended. The rice wine is delicious when chilled. The boss also gave me Luo Han Guo as a souvenir before leaving. The fried noodles and soup noodles for breakfast are also highly recommended. The room is also very clean, and the location for viewing the terraces is also very good. You can see the terraces when you open the curtains. The view is very beautiful while waiting for the sunrise in the room. If I have the chance to come to Longji Rice Terraces again, I will stay here again.

GGuest UserThe hotel is situated really nice in the village and the view from the room is good, it is possible to see the rice terraces; the only downside is the tree blocking partly the view on the terraces.
The village itself is very quiet, many hotels/restaurants closed down during/after covid, and it was really different compared to the vibrant life we saw back in 2017 when we also visited this village.
The room was basic but really nice and clean and the bed comfortable.
The owners do not speak English, but were super friendly and helpful. They arranged transfers from/to the airport, were happy to give us tips about the surroundings and made sure we always had enough hot&cold drinking water.
The dinner (which you can buy from the menu) was ok, but there are better restaurants in town.
The free breakfast was very simple.
All in all we had a nice stay at this hotel.

GGuest UserLove my stay, proprietors were welçoming, clean, had family meals, upgraded at no cost, hot water, heater great room patio views.
The negative experience and *not connected with the hotel were the aggressive ethnic women vendors, they lie about their products, use guilt trip and aggression to try to get you to buy. I certainly don't want the lump them all together but in my seven encounters it was 100%, perhaps it's a cultural thing. I've told my proprietor and hopefully she'll warm them that it's harmful fleecing and being unpleasant.

The location of his house is really good,
Going out and going up the steps 3-5 to the viewing platform in minutes,
Saved the ticket for the ropeway.
It is recommended to stay for two nights and see the terraces.

I had to eat another bowl of my favorite noodle soup before leaving! With such a beautiful view and the friendly local Red Yao proprietress, we stayed one more night. Come on everyone, the scenery is absolutely beautiful, beyond words! ! !

The hotel is 20 or 30 meters away from the Kowloon Five Tigers Observation Deck. It is very convenient to go back and forth to see the terraces. The sightseeing bus goes directly to the entrance of the hotel and there is no trouble with luggage. The store knew that we came to the mountain, helped turn on the room lights and heating in advance, very intimate, and arranged the most beautiful dining table for us, very pleasant!

TThorstenThe name of the hostel is One Family, and that is exactly what you will get here, since the second day I found myself sitting at the table with the whole family running the place feeling sort of part of this family. On top of that, the owner is part of the local minority living in Ping'ancun, so culturally it doesn't get more authentic than this!
But what I truly want to stress is the kindness and helpfulness of the owner's son (whose name I unfortunately have forgotten). He gave me a lot of interesting insights about the history and culture of Ping'ancun, which was truly fascinating. In addition, he gave me advice about my travels, and, ultimately, I would follow his tips seeing some of the most outstanding places in China. So, if you need info and tips about a China travel itinerary, you are also at a good place here.
Lastly, the room was like being in a hut on top of a mountain. Surely not as luxurious as other hotels in the area, yet again if you look for something authentic, go here.
