Overlooking Kobe Port, it was the perfect place to relax, especially during sunset and at night when the city lights reflected beautifully on the water. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Waking up to the sea view each morning made the experience even more memorable. The buffet breakfast were another standout. There was an impressive variety of Japanese and international dishes, all fresh and delicious. The generous buffet spread catered to different tastes, making every meal enjoyable. Getting around was also very convenient. The hotel provides a frequent complimentary shuttle bus to downtown Sannomiya, making it easy to explore Kobe without any hassle. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kobe and would happily stay here again."

"This is an older Japanese-style star hotel that exudes the understated luxury of an economic boom period. Although the hotel itself is quite old, the room size, maintenance, and staff quality are still maintained at a high standard. Satisfied!"

The atmosphere of the ryokan was calm and luxurious, especially with the mountain surroundings and fresh air after the rain. It was the perfect escape from the city. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable for the family. The meals were also delicious and beautifully presented, with great quality ingredients and authentic Japanese cuisine. The shuttle service, attention to detail and overall guest experience were all top-notch. We truly enjoyed every part of our stay and wished we could stay longer. "Truly a 5 star hotel. luxury shopping just steps away. Breakfast at 5500yen was the most i paid for in Japan but worth every penny. the selection were not extensive but what was served were top notch. Large room with view of the harbour, awesome beddings. All staff speaks english. Honestly, if u want to splurge this is the hotel to be at."

"This is an older Japanese five-star hotel. While the decor and facilities are a bit dated, they're well-maintained and quite clean. Although the hotel is built into the side of a mountain, the underground transportation is excellent; you can reach Sannomiya in just a few minutes, and there's a direct shuttle to Sanda just a five-minute walk away. I booked this hotel specifically for the direct bus to Kansai Airport at 2 PM, which is super convenient and a lifesaver if you have a lot of luggage. I don't recommend visiting the Ijinkan Street, which is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel."
