The view outside the room is great as it is close to Kobe Harbour (not quite sure) but it is pity that the soundproofing not quite well as we can hear noise passed from another guest room. And I don’t recommend the dinner buffet here because the menu is limited
Overall it is good ,the surrounding of the hotel is very beautiful

Good hotel for relaxation and enjoying the onsen. The golden pool is hot spring salt water from the strata formed 6 mil years ago and very relaxing.
Unfortunately the course dinners was much below our expectations compared to those we had at other areas similar resorts.

This was our second visit here. The staff is very helpful, and there is a free transfer not just to and from the station - if you want a pickup from the town or the ropeway during your stay, they will help too. The private baths are beautiful and very well maintained, and the reserve-next-as-you-leave-the-previous system is very convenient. Overall, great experience.

We had a great stay at La Suite Kobe Harborland. Great Balcony views. No restaurants for breakfast but Room service breakfast delivery including every morning. Staff was very attentive as is standard in Japan. Rained on the day we left making cabs harder to get and staff pulled out a minivan and drove us to the Shin Kobe station to get our train on time. Enjoyed the restaurant and giant showers. Very close to harbor and short walk from Center street. Enjoyed our stay and great service.

Didn't realized it will be on top of a hill. We got delayed on our train from Kansai, hence arrived a bit late to Arima, tried to call for shuttle but was unsuccessful hence we run up the hill which we thought was just a small distance, but it was much, we've finally arrived to the hotel at 7:30pm a bit earlier than their published latest check in time of 8:00pm. We were told dinner won't be serve after 7pm, we rushed all the way for nothing. They should have also published that on the website to avoid people like us planning a trip to Arima to experience aside from the onsen but also for the traditional Japanese meals. Anyway, after negotiation they did served us the dinner and it was tasty and sumptuous.
Aside from the small issue about the dinner, this place is clean & quiet, staffs were very nice and attentive, the onsen are relaxing and we got a very good night sleep.
Will still recommend this hotel, but remember to tell them about your arrival time and book the shuttle bus.

It takes about 1.5 hours to drive from Kansai Airport to the hotel. The hotel has free parking, which is very convenient for self-driving travel. The package we bought this time includes one night and two meals, and the dinner and breakfast are also very rich. The staff patiently communicated with us in English and introduced the surrounding environment, and reminded us to take the hotel shuttle bus to Arima Market for shopping. You can also purchase a private hot spring for 50 minutes for 5,000 yen, which can be purchased when you check in. The only thing that needs improvement is that the staff has limited English, only one or two can communicate in English.

The hotel is located on a high ground. You can take the elevator to the hotel entrance from the station. It is also convenient to go to the beach, but there are no shops around. The nearest convenience store is at Maiko Station. The room is clean and well-equipped. The sea view room has a good view. The front desk is very friendly and can speak English. The buffet breakfast is very good.

Great location, just opposite to the Kobe station. We can walk from the station to the hotel by underground shopping walk. It's especially good during the rain that we don't have to get wet. Also there's a shopping complex and harbour land for those who come with kids. 2 super market and mall at the station.
10-15 minutes walk to Kobe tower or to overlook the Kobe port. 20 minutes or so to go to Taira no Kiyomori statue.
The room is a bit old, but big enough for us to open luggages. Bathroom has amenities which we don't need to ask for like other hotel. Overall I think it's worth money. If I have a chance, I will come and stay again.

Amazing
GGuest UserThis is a relatively small hotel, and the hot springs are relatively small, but because there are few guests, I can almost bathe by myself. The waiters were professional and courteous, but not enthusiastic. When we left the hotel, there was no staff to see us off. We have been to many other hot spring hotels, and most of them are very welcoming. The only surprise is that there is all you can drink beer and coffee in the lobby at night.

RRubenWe had an amazing stay at Arimasansoh Goshobessho! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, with a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel & rooms itself are incredibly comfy and cozy, with a warm, intimate atmosphere and a delightful wood scent that adds to its charm.
The amenities were excellent, and every detail was thoughtfully prepared to ensure a relaxing experience. The breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations (very good French toast, and onion soup) such a great way to start the day!
A special thank-you to the hotel staff for their kindness and efficiency in returning the Apple Watch we accidentally left behind—it was much appreciated!
Highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite big. It takes a big slope to get there from the station. It's too hard to pull the luggage. I wanted to call to pick up, but the store number provided by Ctrip was one digit less, so I couldn't get through. It happened that a ********* family called the station pick-up number and picked us up together.
The hotel is good, the service staff is very enthusiastic, the mountain view outside the window is beautiful, and there is no one in the hot spring at night, so you can enjoy the private bath treatment.
You can also open a private bath for free.
Because Ctrip's phone number is wrong, I can't contact the hotel, and I didn't book dinner in advance. When I checked in, the dinner was fully booked. I wanted to find food in the town, but the better restaurants were also fully booked. Be sure to book dinner in advance during the peak tourist season.

JJaneNice place, nice view, great service. The Navg here is kind of hard, the GPS bring us to the tunnel underneath. Check out timing is kind of early.. 10am.
AAleksandrThis is our best experience for the first trip to Japan.
The common tattoo-friendly onsen on the floor below the room. Two types of sources: Kin and Gin. People are few, for three trips one time crossed with other visitors.
The beautiful grandfather is the owner. He can buy Arima sake and delicious cider on the spot.
If the first time in the river, we advise you to read local rules and traditions in advance to avoid the stupid mistakes of the gayjin. Our mistake was that we didn't order cayseca (the dinner is served in a separate room). The rules found that orders should be made in advance, on the place we were shy as we arrived quite late. But they received a wonderful set from sashii to Izakai next door.
A large room with a Japanese-style balcony. There are lots of places to store things and suitcases. They give yucts to wear after Onsen, two kinds of towels and local biscuits with a pleasant bonus.
10/10, great place to relax, quiet, calm.

GGuest UserThe hot spring is small, but there are few people, and there are both gold and silver hot springs.
Meals are between 350 and 600 per person, which is pretty good. Breakfast is more than 100 per person, which is quite cost-effective.
The front desk can communicate in English or a translator depending on the personnel situation, and the service attitude is very good.
There was a foreign waiter in the restaurant who said he was learning English, but his English was actually very good.
There were no reviews when booking, so it was a successful adventure.

KKKOne word ”positive”. This Xiaoduli is the other garden of another hot spring hotel above. There are kaiseki dishes and fire dinner. In the evening, you have to go up for a minute to eat, so you must go to the 7/F public bathing hot spring to soak first, and then go to eat. You can book a family room (two of them) for 45 minutes per room per day. Before arriving, you can call to book a car to pick you up at the station, and the hotel will email you in advance. The two meals included are very rich, with delicious ingredients, including beef and fish. There is a self-service water bar in the middle lobby, with hot and cold green tea, coffee, etc. There is no toilet in the room, you have to use the public toilet, but it is very clean. It takes about 10 minutes to walk down to the hot spring street, where you can spend half a day.

GGuest UserThe selected 1.8 rice bed room, the area is OK in Japan.
The bed is too soft! ! ! Stayed for six nights, changing towels every day to collect garbage, although I think the bedding does not need to be changed to be more environmentally friendly, but there is still a reminder. And if you don't change the bedding, you should at least make the bed, although we would have laid the quilt.
Two people lived in two room cards, one day forgot to bring a card to make up one, when I checked out, I was charged 3,000 yen, and a repeated use of the room card was too expensive! I asked for a receipt, if I found it, I would like to say it again.
Small business hotel, but in addition to the above problems are very good, there is a 24-hour hot spring bath on the 2nd floor, the restaurant on the 9th floor has a good view of the scenery. Every night, the rooftop lounge chair on the top floor is also good.
22017weisuomeinvThe location is relatively hidden, but those who like quiet will be delighted. It is not very friendly to those with large suitcases because they have to climb the stairs. There is a winding courtyard at the entrance, which makes people relax. The hotel is located next to the hot spring temple.
My room is on the underground first floor. The weather is very cold, the corridor is not warm enough, and the heating system of the room is also generally expected to be upgraded. There is a very loud and low-powered heater and a stove for heating. The bathroom is particularly cold because it cannot be heated. The design and hardware materials of the bathroom are simple, generous and upscale. The room is a classic tatami, which is OK for two people to sleep. It’s just that the public area of the room is a little narrow and the suitcases are just full when spread out. The rooms in Japan are not big, so you need to get used to it.
I forgot whether the receptionist was from Fujian or Taiwan. The service was super good and considerate. She spoke softly and gave the most pleasant enjoyment to the whole journey. She would give a lot of travel suggestions and answer every question. It is not an exaggeration to say that this store has a soul because of this lady.
