Amanjiwa 99R actually is located in the pines hotel,only difference management.check in is fast ,the room key is in the mailbox .room is big and clean.air conditioner is cool .only the parking need to pay, rm 14 .location is very convenient,near to restaurant and is about 15 minutes walk to jalan bunga raya.Will stay here if come to Melaka again.

An Unpleasant and Insecure Stay at Amanjiwa (Pines Hotel Building) I stayed at Amanjiwa, which is located inside the Pines Hotel building but is not managed by Pines Hotel. There is no reception counter, no staff to assist, and the entire check-in process feels more like an Airbnb. Check-in Process – Not Secure & Poorly Managed Check-in was done through WhatsApp, where I was required to send photos of my IC/passport or driving licence. I felt this was not secure. It was also not clearly stated that it is a full self check-in. Even worse, the management sent me the wrong check-in instructions, leading me to enter someone else’s room — a completely unacceptable and shocking experience. When I tried calling for help, nobody picked up, and there was no immediate support, which was very stressful especially when travelling with elderly family members. I have to call property contact number in trip.com one by one until someone picked up. Parking is not provided. You need to self-pay and park at the building opposite, charged hourly, which can get quite expensive. Max per day RM10 (7am-7am) , hence it costs arpund RM15 over night. Travellers should take note of this (stated) upon booking. There is no room cleaning service at all (stated) and no daily drinking water provided. Guests should be aware of this upon booking. Check-out is at 11am and they charge RM15/ hour extend check-out. Cleanliness I would rate cleanliness 7/10 only: The floor was dusty. Basin was not properly washed. Tables are not wiped. Toilet had water dripping on your head from ceiling when sitting on it. Air-cond kept turning on and off by itself Overall, it was an unpleasant stay. The rules and restrictions are very strict, fine here and there, yet the service does not meet the basic expectations of a hospitality provider. The incident of being given access to someone else’s room made me feel unsafe, and worried that others might also enter my room. My family would not return, and I hope travellers take note of these issues before booking.

Location : good, is exactly inside the Pines Hotel. Opposite got G29 mini Mart operate till 12.00 midnight. Walking distance got restaurant and food court. Night time can walk to river side from hotel, very strong wind and cooling, nice to have walk there. Parking: no good. Can't park in the hotel as it will cost you very high. Park under AIA Prudential building opposite which cost you around RM 10-12.50 next day morning. Checked in : self-check in . booking under Amanjiwa 99R, checked in info such as unit and mailbox details only provide 10min before arrival. That is late. Access cards 2pcs are provided. Mailbox is just beside the hotel. Clear instructions to get the cards. Checked out same methods. No issues. Room: room is spacious and good. Beds and sofa are OK. Refrigerator is not cold. Air conditioning and water pressure are good. Amenities: normal and simple. Facilities: swimming pool and play ground on 8th floor. Cost : lower cost if compare to room booking under the pines hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at The Pines Hotel, but the room would have felt fresher with more thorough cleaning, as the floor was slightly sticky. The toilet seat was also broken, though I requested it to be fixed. The place is strategic only a walk to Jonker street. Plates and Cups can added more for family Room. for 4 pax. Overall, i will recommend this place for my friends.

I selected this hotel because cheaper than The Mines hotel . I was highly impressed with its clean, comfortable and spacious rooms and additional facilities. I highly recommend it!The secure and safe environment of this hotel will always have my heart . I have recommended that others visit this hotel once, and I can assure you that they will never regret it. i repeated many times here .

We have a pleasant stay for a night. The room is spacious and quite clean. However , we encounter some problems. The toilet door cannot open from the inside as door handle was loosen. Water in the bathroom was cold abd the front door latch was loosen. Informed the customer service and they responsed to fix the issues but we were not in. No point doing it as we only stay a night and out all the time. It will be good hotel provide slippers.

Very spacious room with great view. 10/10 If only the carpark is included. Regardless, we would stay there again for sure!
