The room was clean but the only complaint was the window was locked and we couldn’t open it ourselves when we wanted you had to go down to reception and get them to come and open it with their key for the window

The room is tidy, the breakfast is delicious, and the price-performance ratio is high. The only drawback is that there is no staff to automatically clean the room and change towels every day. You need to specifically request this service from the front desk.

Our stay has been pleasant, the room is very spacious and cozy. However, we stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service did not come at any time, despite putting the "you can enter" sign on the door handle. In addition, in the toilet there was a dirty towel (with a lot of makeup) from a previous tenant. Besides, after checking out we left our bags in the luggage room and when we went back for them they did not look at the numbering of the tickets, but rather they made us enter the room to "take your bags" without checking if we really had ours. .. obviously yes, but this does not give any security, because anyone can steal them. Otherwise everything quite good.

Good location, clean and hygienic. Breakfast is not bad for £9.9
Great Hotel. Nice staff. Rooms clean and beds extermly comfortable. Opted for the 'meal deal' which included cooked breakfast and two course evening meal. Great value and food was hot and service was excellent. Reception staff nice & friendly.

The Self Check in for this hotel was so easy to use and saved us a long queue. The room was clean & fresh and the shower was exceptional. Also would like to thank Steven who served us in the bar as he provided a world class customer service every time we went into the bar area. Thank you!!

This is the only hotel in the UK that I have ever stayed in where they inform you that they do not supply heating in the rooms.

Staff were nice but basics like not having enough irons and tired rooms are just not good enough. My friend stayed in a Malmaison for less money the same night I stayed here. Pretty grim

I stayed at the Premier Inn Manchester City Centre (Portland Street) Hotel and was genuinely disappointed with the experience. The room had multiple issues that made it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep: Furniture was worn out Carpet and chair were dirty and stained Bathroom sink had a crack Exhaust fan kept running for 15–30 minutes after the light was turned off Tap and shower alternated unpredictably between hot and cold water Heater had a dent Room temperature was either too hot or too cold, and the thermostat didn’t respond properly To make matters worse, staff didn’t inform me about where to go for breakfast or what to do in case of any issues or emergencies. I wasn’t made aware of the Good Night Guarantee or that I needed to report problems during my stay to qualify for a refund. What could have been better: Proper room maintenance and cleanliness A working climate control system Clear communication from staff at check-in Staff training to ensure guests are informed about facilities and procedures This experience was far below the standard I expected.

Im very happy with our Stay. The Location was Nice. Plenty of Places to Visit. Your not Far from Piccadilly Gardens. Trams Buses etc.

Checked into our room, wasn’t expecting much due to the price but there was stuff all over the carpets in which you could tell the room had not even been hoovered. Marks around the bath where previous guests have placed their shower items - again not cleaned properly. Double occupancy booked but only given 1 towel in the room which we didn’t realise until the morning when we had a shower. Shower head in the bathroom was broken and actually fell off completely mid shower causing injury to my partners foot.
