In short, it was terrible. The environment was bad, and the service was even worse, especially those few Indian staff members—they were awful. I will definitely never choose this hotel again if I'm traveling in the area. Don't go! Oh, and there were even small scorpions on the tatami mats!

Giving it a "generally good" score is already quite high. The advertising is very effective, and it's frequented by many tour groups. However, compared to other hotels in Tangyuan Hot Spring, the actual experience was one of the worst. The facilities were outdated; the bathtub door couldn't even be opened, which is extremely rare for a hot spring hotel. Long hair left by previous guests was still on the sink. If I had other hotel options, I wouldn't stay here again.

The room felt completely uncleaned. There were peeling nails, black stains on the toilet, moldy windows, and a smell so bad that the air purifier was unusable because it made a loud bang. The air conditioner and futon were so dusty that you could see it floating around. My whole family had sore throats, but mine was the worst, with a sore throat and allergies that still haven't gone away even after more than three days of staying there. The food was also really disappointing. The menu consisted of cheap supermarket side dishes like stir-fried pickled vegetables, boiled hijiki seaweed, condiments, and pickles. For the main hot pot, you could choose between tough, fatty meat or smelly seafood, but I thought the meat was preferable. The portion size was smaller on the second day, which was doubly disappointing. ¥170,000 for a three-day, two-night stay with two meals included seemed too expensive. The staff, mostly foreigners, were friendly and I have no complaints about their service, but I definitely won't stay here again.

I stayed by motorcycle, so I was grateful that they provided a covered parking lot. The staff were foreigners, but their language and attitude were excellent.

A medium-sized Japanese-style hot spring hotel located at the innermost side of the hot spring area, close to the sand bath. There are three baths in total. The large and small baths and the open-air bath on the top floor will be exchanged between men and women according to time. The open-air bath on the top floor is completely open-air as soon as it leaves the storage area, including the washing area. The rooms are spacious and should face the river. You need to make your own bed. There is a small refrigerator and a hot water kettle. A good choice for self-driving travel, and the price is cheap and great value for money.

In Tangyuan Hot Spring, a remote and not busy place, the hotel WiFi is broken and completely unusable, which is very disappointing. The rooftop hot spring is very good!
