The best all inclusive i have ever visited! Me and my boyfriend visited here for 9 nights and were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were a great sides and very comfortable! I slept like a baby! The pool is beautiful however the only downside being that it is in the shade after 1pm. This however wasn’t a problem for us as we fell in love with the beach! There are 2 sections to choose from and we never struggled to get a sun bed. The beach bar man was amazing and had exceptional service. Regularly checking if we wanted more drinks and could never do enough for us! We had lunch most days at the beach bar as food was different to buffet style and served to you fresh and hot. The menu isn’t huge but was perfect for us with salads/toasties/burgers etc. The mediterranean a la carte restaurant was great and we didn’t feel pressured to buy wine like some people state - as it wasn’t an issue to take your own wine/cocktails from the pool bar! We were disappointed that we came to book the asian restaurant 2 days into our stay and it was already fully booked due to only being open on limited days as the end of the season however the reception lady was very apologetic and was happy for us to have a second meal again in the mediterranean. The breakfast and dinner buffet were the best i’ve had in any all inclusive hotel with lots of fresh food and choices. There was a great list of cocktails to choose from and the bar ladies were all so lovely with quick service. We were very happy on our last day yesterday as check out was 11am however our flight was not until 12.50pm that night!! we could store our luggage and continue to use the beach/pool with food and drinks all day. We booked to use a shower at 6pm before we went home which meant we didn’t have to pay extra money to keep our room on and have late check out! I would definitely say october is a great month to visit, still 26 degrees and everywhere is quiet! The hotel is in an excellent location just a small stroll away from lots of bars and restaurants! The water pressure wasn’t great as on the 3rd floor but this didn’t alter our experience it just took a little longer to shower. It could also be noted that more frequent entertainment would of been nice as in 9 night there was only a singer once but again this could be due to it being the end of season. We were extremely happy with our stay and would definitely return!!!

We visit Kos very often over the last 10 years. This Hotel was the best we have stayed in. We particularly enjoyed the food at Omma, and the main Inima buffet restaurant was always delicious. Again unlike other hotels the food is refreshed frequently to ensure it is fresh and hot and the variety did not disappoint. The room was spacious and clean. The beach is great and it's very easy to grab a drink while relaxing there. The staff were all friendly and approachable. Special congratulations to the hotel manager, Mr. Dimitrios, who helped the hotel staff in every way, he honestly made a big impression on me as I travel often and I have never seen a manager be so active before! Also, one afternoon when the jacuzzi was not working, he came with the receptionist Athina and they fixed it for us! The icing on the cake for us was the check out experience. We were able to leave our bags in a storage area by reception, continue to use the pool and facilities (including food and drink) and when we were ready to go they had showers/changing rooms so you could prepare for your journey Home . It may seem like a small thing, but it allows you to get the most out of your vacation. We met a few guests who were on their 2nd visit and plan to return next year for our summer family vacation. Thanks to everyone at Cabana Blu and see you next year!

This hotel is no where near your average 5 star Hotel, think more of a 3+/low 4. Decor inside the hotel is modern and has a 5 star feel, but that is about where "5 starness" stops... As a party, we booked 3 x hot tub rooms and 1 normal sea view room over a year ago, to find out on the day of arrival this October, that they had double booked our rooms, and given 2 of these to other guests. One couple in our party where told that they had instead been "upgraded" to a swim up pool room as a gesture of goodwill... the swim up pool was as cold as an ice bath, and the room had no working Aircon. When the lady on reception was approached about the faulty aircon unit, she admitted she knew it was broken, and sarcastically said "what do you want me to do? Go to my house and get you a fan?" Another couple in our party where told that they were "lucky" as the hotel overbooked their room and would have had to stay in another hotel for 1 night until they sorted the room situation out, but as a "gesture of goodwill", they could stay in a room with a hottub for 1 evening until the room they paid for was ready the next morning. I'm sorry, the hotel had a year to get the bookings correct, and to have the cheek to say that we was "lucky" is just damn right rude. They did eventually get the room they paid for the next day. Another couple, did infact get the room they paid for on arrival, only to find out the hottub room they paid for, did not actually have a working hottub... again, the receptionist admitted she knew about this and the maintenance guys were scheduled to take a look at this. Expecting this to be resolved the very next day (given it classes itself as a 5 star hotel!!) Low and behold, the tub was still broken.. we stayed for a total of 10 days and the tub was eventually resolved on day 8, so the couple got absolutely bo use out of it whatsoever... It is clear there is a total failure of plumbing throughout the hotel. Shower pressure was extremely low, so making use of the waterfall shower was a no go, and had to opt for the handheld instead. When you flush the toilet, the toilet continues to run, unless you bang the flush system very hard! And one evening, we came back from a meal to find that the tap water was running brown as we went to brush our teeth! The doors do not close properly either, and are alarmed when they are not shut properly. This leads to constant slamming of doors late at night every evening from frustrated guests. A la carte service was appalling... what they fail to tell you is that you have to pay for all drinks other than beer. This includes water, juice, house wine etc. Despite the all inclusive bar being 20 yards away from the Mediterranean restaurant situated in the grounds of the hotel, they deny you from taking drinks into the "restaurant" area. Food in the Mediterranean restaurant was mediocre, not 5 star standard, and because of the poor service here, we failed to even bother looking to use the 2nd visit we were e

Wonderful stay, couldn't fault the food, drink and service. Probably the best hotel in Kos. Rooms were really comfortable, but feel a bit misled, as the junior suite is smaller than most standard rooms and view was not as described (no pool or garden view, only rooftop). Initially felt very let down and wanted to change hotel, but glad we stayed and in the end we didn't spend much time in the room. The staff were amazing and made it really enjoyable stay for us.

Lovely hotel but doesn't match up to 5* all inclusives elsewhere. Pros: beautiful clean room with soft comfortable bed. We had a lovely sea view. Bar staff are very nice (shout out to Deniese in particular) and there is a fantastic range of drinks on the all inclusive deal. Food at the buffet has a good selection and is good quality. Nice pool with comfy loungers and a cute spot on the beach with waiter service. Emilia on the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Cons: the 2 a la carte restaurants weren't great to be honest. If you live somewhere that has a lot of authentic Asian food you'll notice the difference. I also objected to being pressured to purchase wine when everywhere else wine was included. A couple of the staff in the buffet restaurant were downright rude. I look younger than I am and I noticed one staff member in particular serve older guests with far more politeness and friendliness. That was a real shame and not what I'd expect from a place billing itself as 5*. The pool is absolutely freezing (colder than the sea) and the sun goes off most of it by lunchtime so it's not the one for a full day of sunbathing. There's no sea view from it. Overall, I think we got a good deal for the week and look forward to returning to Kardamena in future.

I was expecting lots from this hotel given the exceptional reviews recently but I have to say that they are overly kind and I need to share some perspective for others. Certainly, it's a good hotel and this is not in dispute. However there are a number of reasons I would not return and I imagine will be reasons for others to consider whether they choose this hotel. Starting with the not so good... Accomodation: We booked a penthouse. Please save your money, it is not a penthouse by normal definition. What it is, is a larger than average rooftop room, with a large terrace and jacuzzi. Please see pics for what the hotel deemed normal for the jacuzzi. The room is ill-equipped with only a wardrobe for storage. I was able to hang my husband's shirts, but everything else had to stay in the case. There is plenty of room to add a set of drawers. Sadly, it is style of over substance with focus on design rather than the practicalities. The room also had an awful, sometimes unbearable stench which is solved very easily with basic plumbing...sadly I have read other reviews where the hotel have commented that the smell is outside of their control which I imagine they will reply to this in the same way. It's not, it's solved very easily with the addition of a trap in the sink. The penthouse also suffered from water pressure issues so taking a shower was a long affair. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The views from the room were great and other than practical features, the room is designed very well. Location: As some people have pointed out, the pool area is completely in shade by around 1.30pm. Other than this, the hotel is located brilliantly for access to bars and restaurants and the pool area and service is great, albeit small. For us, this was a huge factor in why we would not return. The good things: Food and drink - probably the best all inclusive I've experienced. Staff - all brilliantly attentive. Including beach bar staff and service. Arrival - a lovely spread and bottle of wine awaited us in room on arrival due to missing dinner service. Thank you. A la carte - again, both restaurants very good for all inclusive. Highly recommend the teriyaki beef in the Asian restaurant. Other things to consider... Cabana blu is not a family hotel. There is nothing for children so please bear this in mind. Overall, a pleasant stay, good food and drink, relaxing time. It just missed the mark on a few things to be perfect and for us to want to return.

The value for the money was excellent. The only annoying thing were sometimes loud guests because they were in groups. All the couples - even with small children - are not the problem - but the groups of friends can be too loud and destroy the atmosphere. Luckily noone got drunk in an ugly way. Even though the bar offers a great voariety of all inclusive drinks, people drink with moderation - I love that very much. It maked it classy. The rooms were also very nice. The gym had very limited working hours.

What a lovely week we had at this hotel, it is clean calm contemporary. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, a safe, large shower, balcony air con, tea coffee facilities etc. The beds are spacious and comfortable. The hotel itself its kept clean. The reception staff are curtious and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and Amilia was an absolute delight. All the restaurant staff were welcoming and again you wanted for nothing, tea coffee water wine and plates were cleared away in a timely manner. The selection of food for breakfast lunch and dinner was plentiful and a wide variety of dishes every day. The two A'la carte meals which are included in the package were a nice changed from the buffet. The pool area was not huge about 40 sun beds but it was spotless and never a problem getting a bed (you can also use the hotel sunbed that are on the nearby beach. For the sun worshippers the sun did go off the pool area around 3 pm but this was not a problem for me. The bar area was also attended to by very courteous and hardworking staff the evening cocktail waitress never stopped creating the selection of drinks and cocktails available. Overall a very well run hotel with delightful and helpful staff who wanted you to have the 5* experience
