Belle Mare
The beach of Mao Ball really doesn't want to hold too high expectations. This is the third home in Mao Ball. The service and the first two are really incomparable, because the former one lived in a bubble and served too much. There is no comparison here, you can only say that the price is OK, after all, this price is cheaper in the hair ball. To praise the bath water here, because the bubble is open air, so the bath water is cold at night, no matter where the bath water is good in the morning and evening, it is close to the SUPER U flacq shop. Go to the hair ball and try to avoid Sunday. We had 2 weeks of this trip, which was wasted. The public holiday supermarket of Zhoumao Maoshu was closed, the hotel was closed, and the project did not have to play.

Port Louis
We first went there for lunch back in November, the service at La Fourchette wasn't great. You've got some trainees who know absolutely nothing doing service, customer service is very poor, and there's some lack of sense of responsibility there. The food was salty and we just ate it and shared our feedback. We came back to stay at the hotel, the reception desk staff isn't very helpful unless you promptly ask them questions. Room is good, spacious, shower is great. However for the breakfast at La Fourchette, we were there at 7.15am, to our surprise there wasn't anyone attending. We waited around 5 minutes then someone came. The breakfast was supposedly a la carte, but we never saw the carte to order. We were again served by the same trainee that was there back in November who knew absolutely nothing. We waited around 45 minutes just to get an omelette. There's very little customer service, very poor service recovery attempt. Strange enough, we were around 6 people having breakfast at that time and yet such a terrible service. I'm from the hospitality industry myself and I'm very disappointed that no effort has been made to take onus of the level of service at La Fourchette. Would we go back again, probably just for dinner or lunch during the promos, but not more than than unfortunately.

After a wonderful 14-day holiday in Mauritius, it was a break. You can only find a low-cost place in the local area to prepare for long-term adherence. The level of the hotel is like home, but with kitchen and living room. The boss is Dutch and fat. The proprietress is a local black man. The two stayed in the hotel. For the first time, they forgot to buy salt for cooking, so they asked them to solve it. The rooms are cleaned twice a week and the facilities are average. The last time I left was at 11pm. I discussed with the boss and checked out at 6pm. I agreed very easily. Oh, there are two very small swimming pools in the hotel. The place is hard to find, there are buses on the road, but I haven't. I tried to go out once on foot. Although this is a good community by local standards, it still feels very deserted, especially at night. Finally rented a car.

Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport
Hotel is still very good ~ ~ ~ catering generally ~ ~ ~ did not feel particularly delicious ~ this hotel advantage is close to the airport, after more than ten hours of the plane arrived, I want to find a hotel to rest quickly, normal is two o'clock in the afternoon After the check-in, we arrived at the hotel at 8:00 or arranged the room as soon as possible. We provided a free breakfast during the room, very intimate, and stayed at about 10 o'clock, a good experience.

Le Morne
We really liked the experience, the area is not the best due to the weather, but in general it was good and if you follow the beach and turn west, the wind disappears, 2 minutes walk. Great price. There is variety in the buffets, you always have something open where you can eat something. Theme restaurants are average in our opinion, but you have to try them. Super friendly waiters and service. Our room was great, large, on the beachfront and with a terrace. They put a kettle with infusions and coffee. We went with Iberojet and although the plane is a bit narrow, the package was good and with organization in Spanish, even easier. Good quality-price ratio. They do organized excursions, we enjoyed them a lot and met a lot of people. Leave a day to laze around, because there the day starts very early and setting your alarm every day at 7 or before takes its toll. Our summer is their winter and it gets dark at 5:30 p.m. In the interior there is a lot of rain, on the coast there are usually clouds and clearings. The ideal water temperature, even if it is cold outside. The mountain of Le Morne is worth climbing, there is a part that goes up and down without problems, it has a lot of unevenness but stopping from time to time it becomes easy, very high up there is a sign that indicates where the climbing area begins, dangerous and Steep, you have to do it with a guide, we didn't do it, the views from where we were are equally spectacular. You have to see the slavery museum at the entrance to the path that goes up the mountain. As the Mauritians say, you haven't been to Mauritius if you haven't been to Chamarel, the deer island and the botanical garden, but I would add le morne, without hesitation. We also went to Rochester Falls, very cool but complicated. We were approached by a man who took us in his van and guided us through the area, he gave us some fruits and helped us cross the river to see the waterfall closer, I went to give him a tip and I don't know if he told me that it was not enough, I didn't understand him very well, but we gave him 300MUR. They recommended the Tamarind Falls to us, but we didn't have any more days and it takes a full morning to do the route of the 7 waterfalls, you have to do it with a guide as they told us. Taxis are taken by the hour, you give them a route and they tell you a price and estimated hours. But they can only go through one area, or so our taxi driver told us. I hope the tips are useful to you. PS: In case anyone is wondering, inside the barrier reef, there are no sharks.
