Amazing
GGuest UserLet's talk about it from a few conveniences Facilities: three restaurants, two swimming pools, one of which is heated. The breakfast in the main restaurant is quite exquisite, and the food I ate for three days has not changed. The floating restaurant for dinner is very interesting and tastes good. It's just a little cold (it was winter when I went there). The spa is good and worth experiencing. I didn't try golf and shooting. It's a pity that there is no snorkeling activity. Sanitation: Very good, your room can be cleaned twice a day, and you will be asked at 7 o'clock in the evening if you want to tidy up the room and send you more water. Very good. Environment: This is too cozy to say. Service: This is very good, much better than the five-star hotels in the island cities in China, probably because of the enthusiasm of Africans. If you have to say the disadvantages, the hotel is very good, but it is a little old. The creaking sound of the floor in the room is very loud, and I am worried about waking up my companions when I get up at night.

GGuest UserGreat hotel. Perfect location! The beach in front of the hotel (and the whole Le morne beach) is so stunning. The water is sooo clear and had different shades of blue. We stayed all over the island on our trip but we find Lux Le morne has the most amazing beach with the view of Le morne mountain and when you go out in the sea and look back at the hotel, it’s just so so stunning! The room was also cozy with very comfortable bed. The only bad thing about the room was the hot water in shower sometimes just stopped working (finished) and we had to wait!! There are a lot of sun beds but if you don’t reserve one, they are usually all taken by the afternoon. Breakfast was good. Lots of water activities. The gym was a bit too small and sauna took forever to get heated so we gave up. Service was good. The pools were beautiful with the view of Le morne mountain. Overall, we loved this hotel and enjoyed our stay a lit. This was our most fav hotel in Mauritius and if we ever return, we would stay here again.

KKamalskiIt’s a little adventurous to get here (only possible with own car or their van on request). But the views from their restaurant and rooms are extremely stunning!!!! The service is a bit slow and if there is something or you need something you have to call the reception with your own phone. Also, wifi connectivity can vary depending on the weather up there. Be aware, no kids allowed and the terrain is difficult for people who have difficulty with walking. At the end of the day you come here for the paradise view, which is just mesmerizing!

JJane_714Small but exquisite hotel. They have their own beach and lounge chairs, but you can't swim because there are reefs on the beach. There is a public beach for swimming a few steps to the right. You can enjoy the charming sea view and sunset every day lying on the hotel's lounge chairs. The hotel restaurant offers delicious food, and we had most of our dinners in the hotel's Captain's Restaurant. Every staff member is very enthusiastic, and the service staff called Yanis is very friendly. My son and I stayed for nine nights and it was a wonderful vacation

KKarenRats in restaurant On arrival the hotel is really beautiful - a small oasis tucked away with gorgeous colonial style. The reception staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome. The room was really nice - but there were a few things we noticed (which we let slide at the start) - massive dirty lipstick mark on one of our water glasses, filthy lampshades above the bathroom sinks, bed linen that didn’t feel particularly fresh and the robes as well had a slight greyish colour rather than bright white which they were meant to be. These were all minor things at the start which we didn’t even mention to each other but did notice. We then had our first night at the cocktail bar where our drink was served by the lovely barman (very polite and smily) - as we were drinking we saw a huge rat run across the terrace - we decided it was an island and maybe this is normal (although we really weren’t happy about it). We then were dining within the restaurant and again a huge rat was running towards the table. For us, this is not ok. We asked to move tables as we saw a rat and the waiters barely acknowledged it - didn’t offer any apology and then proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of the night. We informed the manager the next day who assured us he was aware and the rat had been caught, and to “give it a chance”. We weren’t offered so much as a complimentary drink. After dining in the restaurant again the second night and again seeing a rat - for us it was time to check out. Not only is it unpleasant seeing rodents running around while eating but I would say it’s a hygiene issue and makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the safety of the food. The only concession we were offered was to not pay for the remaining nights that we would not be staying for. Really disappointing. On hindsight some things we would add about the whole experience: - Not a 5 star in terms of food, service or cleanliness - Staff really hit and miss - some very friendly some really rude and unhelpful - Rooms didn’t feel clean - Food was average - nothing felt fresh including breakfast - Quite stingey with water - water not replaced within our room (had to ask for it) We are now staying at a different hotel and haven’t seen one rat, so don’t think this is “just an island thing” as the manager stated. The service and food are also worlds apart which has really solidified that our review of 20 degres sud as completely justified - not a 5 star experience whatsoever.

GGuest UserThe hotel lobby is absolutely stunning. The hotel offers many complimentary activities like pedal boats, paddleboarding, and snorkeling; for snorkeling and the glass-bottom boat tour, I highly recommend booking early. Breakfast was average. We had lunch at the Wave restaurant, but the taste was nothing special. If the price difference isn't substantial, I'd recommend sticking to a breakfast-only booking, as the hotel's other dining options are pretty unremarkable. During this weather, the north side experiences calmer waters, but activities such as helicopter tours to the waterfalls, the zoo, and boat excursions are all concentrated in the south and southwest. If you have ample time, I'd suggest staying at least two different hotels.

GGuest UserThe hotel is about an hour's drive from the airport. The hotel is large, with a long beach and stunning ocean views. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The hotel has four restaurants, each with its own unique flair. My room rate included dinner, so I could book any of them, which was excellent.

RRanoshI had a great stay at Royal Green Resort. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is good if you have a car — about 57 minutes from the airport by car. I would like to thank Vedhna in particular; she was professional and very kind in all her interactions with me.

AAnonymous UserNice stay and helpful staff, but for one person at the reception who doesn't seem to know what hospitality means. Very clean and confortable room, good breakfast buffet, though dinner buffet is sometimes of lesser quality. The staff is overally very nice, I recommend to stay there if you have a rental car, or you prefer to stay and relax by the pool or beach.
