Solana Beach Mauritius - Adults Only
"Wonderful Hotel!!! The breakfast is also very good. Everyone is really kind!"
Constance Belle Mare Plage
"Loved it! Truly special. Beach, staff, cocktails, rooms, amenities, food, gym, spa...all remarkable."
Sunrise Attitude
"My partner and I recently spent two weeks at Sunrise Attitude in Mauritius, and overall we had a fantastic time. Mauritius is an absolutely beautiful island, with scenery so stunning that even my phone camera, usually reserved for pictures of food and accidental screenshots, managed to produce postcard-worthy photos. The transfer from the airport took around an hour and a half, which wasn't bad at all. In fact, it gave us plenty of time to wonder whether we were heading to a hotel or being driven to a secret volcano lair somewhere on the other side of the island. First and foremost, the staff were outstanding. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, professional, and spoke excellent English. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and not once did we feel pressured for tips. They genuinely seemed happy to help, which is becoming rarer than a poolside sunbed after 8am. A special mention must go to Delphine, who was absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. She was warm, attentive, professional, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure guests were looked after. In an industry where customer service can sometimes feel scripted, Delphine made it feel genuine. She is a real credit to the hotel and a perfect example of what it means to put customers first. If Sunrise Attitude were handing out gold medals, she'd need a wheelbarrow to carry them all home. The buffet was good, and there was always something tasty to eat. However, after a week or so, the menu rotation started feeling a bit like Groundhog Day. I became so familiar with some dishes that I was considering asking them how their children were getting on at school. One thing that deserves special recognition was the hotel's commitment to security. Every time we approached a bar or restaurant, without fail, we were asked: "What's your room number?" "Are you all inclusive?" Morning? Asked. Lunch? Asked. Dinner? Asked. Mid-afternoon snack? Asked. Returning five minutes later? Asked again. By the end of the holiday, I knew my room number better than my National Insurance number. I half expected immigration at the airport to ask if I was all-inclusive before allowing me back into the UK. May I humbly suggest colour-coded wristbands? Not only would this save guests from repeating themselves 47 times a day, but it might also prevent some of us from accidentally answering with our room number when asked our date of birth. The cocktails were good, but there is room for improvement. Some were excellent. Others tasted as though the bartender had briefly described a cocktail to someone else over the phone, who then attempted to recreate it from memory. The rooms in the original section of the hotel are a little dated. Not "museum exhibit" dated, but certainly old enough to remember when DVDs were considered cutting-edge technology. Thankfully, the newer part of the resort is much more modern and feels like it belongs in the same decade as the Wi-Fi. The rooms included tea "
Riu Palace Mauritius - All Inclusive - Adults Only
"A great hotel, everything is new and clean, the service is excellent. Everything is included, which is important, as this part of the island has almost no restaurants, cafes, or shops, if any. You can even try lobster for dinner. However, I would draw the management's attention to the cleanliness of the dishes in the dining room. This isn't just my opinion; it's a health issue! A hotel of this caliber should not tolerate "grabbed" plates or, excuse me, unwashed ones. The grounds are very beautiful and well-maintained, but the beach is windy and not the most convenient, though there are swimming pools. If you go to the right, there are more comfortable areas with beautiful views."
Shanti Maurice Resort & Spa
"we liked it but they have to fix problems with mices in the SHED restaurant because we love nature but place where to sleep or eat must respect 5 stars hotel policy"
Salt of Palmar, Mauritius
"The only advantage I liked about it is that it's small, and that's what I liked about it. It's quiet, and the food is excellent."
Le Palmiste Resorts & Spa
"One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Everything is filthy. The towels are brown, there's hair and dirt everywhere. The food is terrible, the pools are murky."
Riu Turquoise - All Inclusive
"The RIU Turquoise was genuinely one of the best stays I’ve had. The rooms were amazing — spacious, modern, and always spotless. You could tell a lot of care goes into keeping everything at a really high standard. The beach is absolutely beautiful, with clear water and a really relaxed atmosphere, and the pool area is just as impressive — plenty of space, great vibe, and perfect for unwinding. The spa was also a highlight, such a nice place to properly switch off and relax. Food-wise, it really exceeded expectations. Having multiple restaurants gave loads of choice, and everything was consistently good. The steakhouse in particular stood out — easily one of the best meals of the trip. What really made the stay though was the staff. Everyone, from reception to the restaurant teams, was so polite, friendly, and welcoming. The level of hospitality was outstanding and made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. Overall, an amazing hotel with great facilities, fantastic food, and genuinely excellent service — would 100% go back."
Le Jadis Beach Resort & Wellness - Managed by Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts

Maritim Resort & Spa Mauritius
"I wish to commend Chateau Restaurant for the exceptional Easter lunch buffet experience. The selection was extensive and thoughtfully curated, with each dish prepared to a high standard of quality and presentation. The ambience was refined and well-suited for a festive family gathering. I would like to extend particular thanks to Veeren for his outstanding service. He was courteous, attentive, and efficient throughout the meal, and served every guest with a warm and welcoming smile. His professionalism contributed significantly to the overall enjoyment of the occasion. I would not hesitate to recommend Chateau Restaurant for special occasions and look forward to returning in the future."
Ocean's Creek Beach Hotel
"We had a wonderful stay at Oceans Creek Beach Hotel and truly appreciated the warm hospitality of the entire team. A special thank you to Hilary at Reception for her professionalism, welcoming smile, and outstanding service. She was always attentive, helpful, and ensured every request was handled efficiently, making our stay even more enjoyable. Many thanks as well to Emmanuel for his assistance with our luggage upon arrival. The food was excellent throughout our stay. I particularly enjoyed the à la carte dinner, while my wife preferred the buffet. Our son also had a fantastic time at the Kids Club. We would also like to thank the animation and housekeeping teams for their dedication and excellent service. Congratulations to the entire team for creating such a welcoming atmosphere. We look forward to visiting again!"
InterContinental Hotels RESORT MAURITIUS by IHG
"An amazing hotel right on the water with every room facing the water. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. Beautiful big rooms with lovely balconies. The dinner and breakfast were also really good, with a great variety and a lovely outdoor area to sit at. I do however think the cleaning staff need to take a bit more care when cleaning. We were there for 6 nights and 3 of the nights we had to phone housekeeping because we did not have towels, or we did not get toilet paper, or we did not get our bath robes… and then housekeeping took at least 20-30minutes to bring the items. The other thing was that they put a single duvet into a double duvet - so when you are sleeping there are many times when you only have a sheet and no duvet. Maybe change that. Otherwise I really can’t complain about anything. There are plenty of beach chairs and there were always chairs available and it was an amazing and relaxing place."
The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa, Mauritius
"Stayed for two nights. The room was spacious enough, and the garden view was lovely. They have a tennis court and even offer rackets for rent, with new models of Padel and Pickleball rackets available. In the evening, we saw fruit bats on the hotel beach, which was quite a magical experience."
One&Only Le Saint Géran
"We recently spent a wonderful time at the hotel in March, celebrating my husband's birthday. Our host “Main” went above and beyond to make us feel at home. A special shoutout to the barman vinod at La Pointe - he really made our day! Also ritesh, ashvin, devraj and akash. Made our birthday celebration truly special ❤. Unfortunately, we had to skip dinner at Tapasake as our little one had an unexpected accident in the room . Lutchmee and the breakfast staff were incredibly kind, and the dinner experience was top-notch thanks to the attentive service by khemraj, mike, doorga, nikita, melisa and hritesh. Perfect blend of comfort and hospitality . Highly recommend! We Would love to come back and create more memories "
Constance Le Chaland, IKO Mauritius
"Overall it was very good, and we were allowed to check in early!"
Heritage Awali Golf and Spa Resort
"All good, except in restaurant we received first course and a main course at the same time 😁"
Constance Prince Maurice
"The room is large and comfortable, the service attitude is very good and professional, and the in room service is very timely. Will stay again if I have the chance. It is suitable to set aside a large period of free time to stay well."
Legend Hill Resort and Spa
"Nice atmosphere.. Nice food and also Navesh give us an excellent service"
The Address Boutique Hotel
"Enjoyed my stay. PROS Attentive and helpful staff Nice room with nice view Lovely pool and breakfast area Affordable and reliable taxi service CONS The bed wasn’t the most comfortable (my next still hurts) I had food poisoning from the breakfast but that could be a me problem Cats everywhere in the courtyard but that’s not peculiar to the hotel"
La Maison d'Eté Hotel by Newmark
"We loved our stay! So peaceful and calm, sound of ocean instantly relaxes you. Small quaint Boutique Hotel, great staff, Spa and food delicious. Highly recommend this to anyone needing some down time."
Lagoon Attitude (Adults Only)
"Perfect location for amazing holiday Quiet, professional atmosphere, with the most amazing , awesome staff. Rooms neat and was serviced daily Real gem ,all meals included with activities for all ages, my first kayak and paddle boat experience with so patient instructors Would like to thank all the staff from reception to house keeping, waiters, managers and cleaners. You all were nothing short of excellence in service , I am in awe of the care, respect and sense of family treatment that we received. Special thanks to Varun ,Krishna,Ganesh and all staff from Benitiers, food and service was impeccable. I was so surprised for my birthday Wen I was treated like Royalty, given cake and champagne with special table prepared. thank you Also to Heman ,Dinesh,Raja and Kevin, you made our stay so comfortable by seeing to all our needs without delay. You communicated on daily basis to ensure we were happy and treated well. Love everything about the place and staff I came in contact with and will definitely be coming back "
Tropical Attitude,
"The location is great. It's only 100 meters from the sliding door of the room to the beach. However, you can only enjoy the beach in front because there are reefs and you can't go into the water. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the nearby water for swimming. The water quality is good. There is a buffet breakfast and dinner. The restaurant has a pleasant view. It is not convenient to eat nearby. It is recommended to book dinner"
LUX* Le Morne, Mauritius
"Excellent rest. Impeccable service. Excellent free excursions included."
Le Méridien lle Maurice
"Fabulous hotel. We went AI which was a good call considering there were no bars or restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. We stayed in a Beach Bliss junior suite which was large, well equipped with a super comfortable bed. The drinks and food included in the AI package were great with some international spirits. Cocktails were amongst the best we have had. The food options were also top notch with lots of choice and variety. All restaurants including the main buffet were good with our favourite speciality restaurants being Jade (Asian) and Waves (Seafood). The spa was ok and we didn’t try the gym or water sports. The free snorkelling trip, Mauritian cooking class and BBQ night at Waves were all great fun. Special thanks to Geetanjalee for doing a fantastic job keeping our room tidy, Akhilesh for his cocktail making skills and Stephanie for doing a great job hosting the cooking class. All in all a fabulous stay and the only feedback I would give for improvement would be to speed up the check-in process and add some variety to the evening entertainment."
