Lagoon Attitude (Adults Only)

I've been in many hotels before, but I've never experienced such a low value for money. Some of the staff are very nice, but most of them treat you as if they are doing you a favor for serving you. There was little choice when it came to food, and what was offered was tasteless or in the form of unhealthy, deep-fried snacks. Especially in the afternoon. In general, I had the impression that the hotel values itself much too high and at the same time is very stingy with customer service.

The place is great and the staff is friendly and nice! The additional restaurants are also a great addition to the mix

Beautiful location awesome property we loved it. One improvement can be, include Indian food in their breakfast buffet and Dinner buffet so that we don't end up disappointed with food next time with which we were quite disappointed this time. If not authentic Indian food atleast veg pizza will work, as most of the Indians like pizza.

The hotel is located at the northern coast which we chose since there should be less wind in September. Sadly, the weather was mixed and it rained sometimes but we also got some good weather as well while it rained in other parts of the island. The hotel facility had many plants and palm trees and a lot of pretty birds. We mostly enjoyed the coral area since that’s were it was calmer and also less windy since there was a partitioning door to keep the sea breeze out. The hotel rooms were very well cleaned and generally nice and had a good size. However, especially the bathroom needs some renovation with the tiles. For example, there were holes in the tiles next to the mirror which were closed with silicone. The shower had typical signs of wear and tear and was sometimes leaking. The drinks and the food was delicious. We went to all 3 à la carte restaurants. We liked the coral restaurant best which is why we went there 3 times during our 11-day-stay. The food was amazing and the servers there are very friendly and quick with the service - refilling water glasses and asking if we needed anything else. We were served by Usha, Permal, Jerome and Akshay. The food at the main restaurant was also very good. Something I immediately recognized was that the food was very hot and not luke warm like in some other all-inclusive hotels. Also there were gluten-free and vegan options, although we didn’t try them. There was a great range of appetizers on small dishes. Also the gala night on Wednesdays and the Mauritian night on Saturdays are highly recommended. For breakfast you could get fresh egg dishes (scrambled, sunny side up, omelette and even eggs benedict) which were very tasty. We didn’t like the coffee from the coffee machines during breakfast too much. However the coffee from the bars was made with a portafilter machine and much better. For lunch we often went to Taba-J where we got a lot of tasty local street food. The staff everywhere was extraordinarily friendly. A small remark I’d like to make here is that some of the male staff (maybe 2-3 persons) only talked to my male partner when asking for our drink order etc. which irritated me a bit. I also felt like they were avoiding to look at me directly. The juice bar had very tasty juices but was not included in the all-inclusive package. One juice was priced at 300 rupees. There is a taxi service at the hotel. The taxi drivers are only allowed to transport hotel guests with their licenses which is why they often times wait for you to come back when they drive long distance with you. There was a price list which gave a lot of transparency. Our taxi driver Akshay was very nice and even told us some things about the island. I even asked him how to spot Mauritian vanilla at the market in Port Louis and he gave me some advice.

I would like to thank all the staff for the great services nothing is too much when you adk them something, they organised and find the best sollutiion. Especially a great thank you to Reeina and Carine! What a service, what a kind great hart. We felt like home. Thank you so much Reeina and Carine for all the good moments, taking care of us and jokes Will never forget You. Also the great restsurants Kot Nou, Taba-J, Lemongrass, Coral were great. Als the Benitier buffet was excellent Also i would to add that the couple room ocean view nr 802 makes the différence, every morning a beautiful wake up. We will come back at Lagoon attitude ❤️

Perfect location for amazing holiday Quiet, professional atmosphere,with the most amazing , awesome staff. Rooms neat and was serviced daily Real gem ,all meals included with activities for all ages, my first kayak and paddle boat experience with so patient instructors Would like to thank all the staff from reception to house keeping, waiters, managers and cleaners. You all were nothing short of excellence in service , I am in awe of the care, respect and sense of family treatment that we received. Special thanks to Varun ,Krishna,Ganesh and all staff from Benitiers, food and service was impeccable. I was so surprised for my birthday Wen I was treated like Royalty,given cake and champagne with special table prepared. thank you Also to Heman ,Dinesh,Raja and Kevin, you made our stay so comfortable by seeing to all our needs without delay. You communicated on daily basis to ensure we were happy and treated well. Love everything about the place and staff I came in contact with and will definitely be coming back

Our Stay at Lagoon Attitude, Mauritius We had the most amazing stay at Lagoon Attitude in Mauritius, and it made our 40th birthday celebrations one to remember! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome by the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. There was so much to enjoy during our stay. We loved being able to make the most of the activities, especially playing tennis, kayaking, snorkelling, going to the gym and enjoying the pedal boats. There was always something to do, but equally plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The food was absolutely outstanding. The à la carte restaurants were amazing, especially Lemongrass, which served delicious Asian-inspired food. The buffet was honestly the best we have ever experienced, with so much choice and every dish packed full of flavour. And the desserts were simply incredible — definitely the best we have ever had! The street food was another highlight and was absolutely delicious. Our room was super clean and comfortable, and the whole hotel was beautifully looked after. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was so warm, friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even more special. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our 40th birthdays. Lagoon Attitude gave us an unforgettable holiday filled with amazing food, wonderful activities and fantastic memories. We would absolutely recommend it and would love to return!
