Lure Hotel & Spa - Adults Only

We have been visiting Malta for over 30 years , We recently stayed at the Lure Hotel & Spa . We had a fantastic stay , The hotel is just beautiful and the service was excellent . The food was simply delicious . The hotel was spotless and the rooms were stunning . Had wonderful treatments in the spa and have booked to return . We found a little gem !

This really is an exceptional treat in Melieha. Fantastic restaurant, wonderful room, lovely breakfast and an amazing spa and pool. It's our top recommendation for a stay in Malta. Rooms are super stylish with huge bathrooms, comfy beds and great views of the traditional part of Melieha.

We booked a suite in Lure Hotel and unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control were not able to fly to Malta for our booked visit. I contacted Lure Hotel and *********** explaining our situation and asked if they could allow us to change dates so as not to lose the money we had spent on our booking. Booking .com could not help and referred us to Lure Hotel who were not helpful at all and would not grant us a credit for our next visit. I did explain that my mother lives in Mellieha and we visit her 3 to 4 times a year. If they would allow us to re schedule our booking we would happily book a suite at Lure Hotel for our future visits which we imagined would be good business for the hotel. They categorically refused to consider our request so we lost our money and Lure Hotel lost our future bookings. Interestingly, we have since visited Mellieha on 3 occasions since then and we always walk past Lure Hotel just to see how busy they are. It is not surprising to see we have never seen any guests at the hotel and we must say it is satisfying to think that their customer relations attitude has not altered since our dealings with them. We have found the Maritim Antonine Hotel in Mellieha to be very helpful and we have booked a suite at the Maritim for our last 3 visits and would happily recommend the Maritim Antonine Hotel and Spa.

Garret and his team made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. Everyone is treated as a VIP. Garret has extensive knowledge of places of interest to visit which made my plans much easier. I had one of the suites on the 2nd floor with a hot tub which was simply amazing. The entire hotel is incredibly clean, and nothing was at fault. I am already missing my breakfast which was a highlight. Thank you Garret & team.

Great and elegant boutique hotel. Room was well appointed, friendly staff and great location. Wished we could have stayed longer.

While the rooms are lovely and ultra modern, the facilities were all unusable and the staff looked tired and were poorly trained in customer service. There was a huge black cockroach in the indoor pool, probably given it is next to the kitchens. It's so dark it's hard to see any cockroaches until they are right under your chin which is scary. When I reported this to staff, there was no apology, let alone compensation, said I was asked only why I hadn't reported it earlier in the day. The rooftop pool was freezing cold and unusable. The jacuzzi on the balcony was overlooked by a man from next door who kept taking photos of us. The bath was unusable as the plug didn't work. Every time we used the shower, it flooded the bathroom, toilet and hallway and we used all our towels each day trying to stop the flood. Bit of a miserable stay really. I won't be back.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Lure Hotel and Spa last week thanks to the friendly and attentative staff. The accommodation, food, and facilities are exceptional, and the hotel location is convenient for exploring the many local attractions. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We have just stayed 2 nights at this lovely new hotel in Mellieha. Our room was large and beautiful. The breakfasts are great. The hotel has a spa, a rooftop pool and a gorgeous indoor pool, sauna and spa. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The owner is very hands on, beyond helpful and charming too. Dinner on the outdoor patio was excellent.

All service staff were fantastic people always supporting and helpful. Hotel in great situation with very good restaurant. Room perfect for our duration of 5 nights.
