Went here on a work trip and this place delivered. A very nice, clean, beautiful building in the middle of a great part of CDMX. My Spanish is less than average but most of, if not all, the staff speak VERY good English, including room service. I stayed in a suite which was very roomy, clean, the bathroom was very nice with all marble floors. The bed was very comfortable as well. I ordered room service for dinner one night and was blown away by how delicious everything was! I had a filet mignon, caprese salad and a warm brownie with vanilla ice cream. Filet was SPOT ON, salad was good (the mozzerella was definitely fresh, and if they didn't bake the brownie in house they had me fooled. I was literally saying out loud to nobody else in the room ”this is delicious!”. I'll have to say the athletic facility was pretty impressive as well. They have a ton of machines and equipment that are inside a glass enclosed atrium and very well put together. I was nursing some injuries at the time of my visit so only used the facility for light rehab work. I didn't get to use all of the equipment but was definitely impressed. Very clean and came in contact with staff only one day and they were very friendly as well. The only thing I would have liked in the room, and I realize this may be completely an American thing, is a bed side clock. I just like to wake up and see the time and/or use the alarm when I need it, I don't like waking up to ”wake up calls”. The phone ringing is not a fun way for me to awake.

The St. Regis Mexico City

Marriott Titanium. Wife and I were in town for a babymoon and we decided to go back to Mexico City and try the St Regis. Really glad we did as everything was top notch as expected at a St Regis. Pros: Entire staff - friendly, super helpful, and genuinely caring staff from door, front desk, butler, restaurant, and all others. Thanks to Jesus for making reservations at amazing restaurants, Eduardo for going over the top for us, and the head concierge (sorry forget his name) for teaching my wife how to saber a bottle of champagne. Restaurant - ate breakfast every morning, had a lunch, and late night desserts at the hotel and the food is tasty with lots of options, taco bar for Saturday brunch, with great staff. Bar - I always try the bloody mary's when staying at St Regis properties as they have their own spin and the Mexico City one was very unique. But outside of that, the bar staff was very friendly throughout and made great drinks. Rooms - booked a deluxe suite for our stay and it was huge, clean, and had comfortable beds. Car service - can get you everywhere you need to get in a comfortable Navigator. Cons: Location - we love Mexico City and usually stay in the Polanco district and this was the first time we stayed in the ”central” district. Area is more business forward so you'll have to travel if you want to get to areas outside of that, but not at the fault of the hotel. Age - hotel is starting to show it's age a bit, but it's still very well kept. Pool - a bit smaller and jets in the hot tub didn't work, but it was nice to soak after walking all day. Cons are nitpicky and would not prevent us from coming back, which we will. Overdelivers on what a St Regis experience should be and we are very thankful that they made us feel so welcome and provided us great memories.

If you like having a refrigerator to cool your drinks off or even put some cold cuts and cheese this is the place for you. There is also a electric hot stove with two burners. And a coffee makers and plates and utensils with drinking glasses. The ceiling lamp shade hangs low enough over the dining table that a few times I accidentally bumped my head into it. I suggest you bring some soap or shower wash like Dove to use when you shower because you only get one bar of soap to do everything. Also I like to hang up my clothes so I took 12 metal hangers with me. The closet has 5 hangers not enough for me. I stayed here close to three weeks. So I needed to have a good change of clothing. The hotel is a few steps from two restaurants that open 8 am weekday and 9 am weekends until around 5 pm. Basic meal with refillable coffee -the waiter comes and pours more-- will cost you 60 pesos about US$3.00. The bed is very comfortable. Best sleep I had in years. The block is quiet. Safe area. You see the police in their cruiser making rounds. Two blocks walk south then left is Calle Rio Lerma where all the action is such as restaurants and bars. When I first arrived i was able to dine in. Unfortunately the Covid-19 count went up so food was only ”llevar” to carry out. There is a range of food prices depending on what you are looking for. At Calle Nilo a couple blocks over is a very good taco shop with decent prices but like I say it's too bad I could no longer go in there to sit and eat. On an early Sunday morning the hotel arranged a car service pick up for me that cost $230 pesos about US$11.50. Took 20 minutes to arrive at the airport leaving at 5:30 AM. It's helpful to brush up on your Spanish because when you speak to staff they will drift off from English back to Spanish. So be prepared. Staff is a very great set of people who are helpful. My room was clean. It's located about a 15-minute walk from the Sevila subway Line 1. The fare on the train is currently 5 pesos. On the bus it's 6 pesos. I suggest you buy a fare card from the machine. You can always recharge the card either at the machine or with the clerk. If you recharge at the clerk you need to put the card up against the card reader-- I had no idea that is what she was telling me until someone who worked there came over and showed me to place it against the reader. When you're at the bus stop you can also recharge the card. Just stick the card in then it would read the balance. Then you can use a bill or coins. Then press recharga.. Don't do like me and make a mistake where I accidentally hit cancelar instead of recharge then the machine took my 50-peso bill and spit out a receipt. That's robbery. Where I live if you don't get service the machine spits back out your bill or coins. So beware you're warned.even though it's only $2.50 it's still money stolen brazenly. I added a lot of extra information because you will need these and your stay will be much more pleasant. Plus it might

Grand Fiesta Americana Chapultepec
4.5/5101 Reviews
I have visited Mexico city more times, but since I have tried Grand Fiesta America there is no other place to stay especially if you need to be near a Polanco area, where I had some business meetings. Hotel is quite modern equipped. Some of big Hotel chains in Mexico city had some 90s look, which is not the case of Grand Fiesta Americana. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff really friendly and flexible. I have been there more than one time and to my surprise some of the staff on the 16th floor recognize me and get me quite warm welcome. Some of the staff works there for more years which means that the management treat them well which is a good sign. I will be definitely be back in near future.
The Ritz-Carlton, Mexico City

Fantastic stay with club lounge privileges. Fair warning to Bonvoy Platinum and Titanium members (Ambassadors you better know the drill with this brand, otherwise your handlers have been carting your carcass on a handcart from property to property while you’ve been under the influence) lounge access is NOT included unless you pay for it. The groveling from a previous reviewer was pathetic! Now that that’s out of the way, what a muy bien experience! Food and beverage presentations in the club lounge were superior to any other Ritz lounge we’ve visited in North America. Alyssa leads a first rate team with Francisco and Michelle as all stars. Hot entrees were present even between the breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings. We were upgraded to a corner suite. Impressed with the space, layout and electric curtains. Bathroom was superb with separate bathtub and shower. Only complaint was entitled guests allowing screaming children running amuck in the hallways first thing in the morning. And a neighboring guest listening to loud movies on his balcony whilst smoking cancer sticks. Hope he endured a handsome fine for his behavior. But he probably didn’t. Enjoyed the walking proximity to Chapultepec Park with its many fine museums. Service in the restaurant was also excellent. Looking forward to our next stay.
MX Grand Suites

This was our second stay at this property, this time with another couple (who also loved it here) to celebrate my birthday. As always, the room was super clean, bright and comfy. Love the fact that it has a full kitchen so we can cook/warm-up/store food if we don't feel like going out. The bed has thick comforters and four pillows to snuggle into. There is plenty of hot water, a cute little balcony for sipping morning coffee and a mini-split AC (at least in our room - I believe some rooms don't have it, so be sure to check). The location is perfect, within walking distance of great restaurants, bars, shops, la Reforma, etc. And it's surprisingly quiet given its location. I prefer this property to other places I have stayed at in CDMX over the years in part due to it being a more business traveler/long-stay oriented property. This means that the guests are usually well-mannered and quiet, and any type of obnoxious behavior (screaming kids, loud parties, drunken guests) is not tolerated. There is also no restaurant, thus cutting down on the noise level even more. Wonderful. But what really makes this hotel stand out is the personalized service by the concierge (and one-man welcoming committee) Javier. He is a real gem and goes out of his way to ensure your stay is perfect. He and the staff even gifted me a bottle of wine for my birthday! Such a lovely detail. He will immediately take care of any issues (minor as they typically are at this hotel) like getting a dish sponge, more soap or a TV cable (did someone steal it???) brought up to the room. And he will be more than happy to make any arrangements you might need, always with a smile on his face (well, smiling eyes, in any case, on account of the mask!). Thanks again to everyone at MX Grand Suites for our highly enjoyable stay. We will be back.
Wyndham Garden Mexico City - Polanco
4.2/5106 Reviews
As a first-time visitor, I wanted to know the highlights of the area so I could see them in between my work days. The staff member Baldemar recommended quality taquerias for me to enjoy, bookstores for me to buy comics in Spanish, and taught me about true Mexican culture. Unfortunately, near the end of my trip, I got quite ill from some food. To my aid, Baldemar was there to find me a doctor so I could travel back home in good health. I felt truly taken care of at the Wyndham Polanco.

the accommodation itself is excellent, very well located and large apartment but I chose the apartment covered with external jacuzzi, but it had no hot water and was unrein filled with dust and leaves and almost stuffed, I asked for cleaning and console of the hot water record but they didn't get up and refund me saying I had already paid to the agency in the case of booking and they had no way to turn me out some value and they promised me only a discount for when I return ... or it's the same thing as nothing, another thing is that it was very cold because it was winter and it had only one Edrodon per bed and they claimed that they had no covers!! They gave me a heating device that didn't help much, another thing is that in the kitchen there are microwaves, oven, coffee machine, ice cream and cheese, I had only a table and cup game for 4 people and I had neither a pan, nor anything to use in the oven ! ? ! ? what fucking so? I that I won't bear my panels on travel, I found it absurd, I wasn't well attended and I didn't like if I knew I would prefer to stay in a hotel with breakfast coffee and swimming pool that was even cheaper ...
Camino Real Polanco Mexico

The location is safe, the rooms are large and the balconies are very nice. I will stay here next time. Although the hotel has been in operation for a long time, the facilities are OK. The room on the road is very noisy and it is recommended to choose the opposite room.
