Xingrui Hotel (Fuzhou University City store)

The room was great, and everything was convenient.

This hotel is pretty good! Our family of five booked a family room. There's a large 1.8-meter bed in the first room and a 1.5-meter bed in the second room behind the TV wall. Both rooms have large windowsills and a small sofa. The bathroom is also spacious. The restaurant offers a rich breakfast. The kids loved the oatmeal milk, and the corn buns were delicious. We parked in the adjacent complex, which has plenty of free parking. There are many restaurants right outside the hotel, and a large shopping mall is a 5-minute drive away. There are also many designated food stalls outside the mall at night.

The room was spacious and bright, with soft bedding (the pillow height and mattress firmness were just right for me). The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas and plenty of hot water. The equipment was easy to use, and the charging sockets were a thoughtful touch.

The room was clean and hygienic. I was staying in Fuzhou with my family for a long time because I was visiting a doctor. The price was very reasonable and included breakfast buffet and parking. The auntie would help keep the room clean every day. It was very good and suitable for all kinds of travel.

After staying in so many hotels, this one was the one I was most eager to leave. I originally booked three nights, but canceled two less than an hour after checking in. The reasons were as follows: 1. The internet speed was incredibly slow. A 30-second video would buffer for several minutes, and a short video would spin in circles for ages. 2. The room smelled terrible, almost moldy. 3. Worst of all, there were tiny, unknown flying insects in the room. Their bites felt like mosquito bites and were extremely itchy. The hygiene was extremely worrying! My impression of this hotel was that it was overpriced for the National Day holiday.

There were no major issues with the room's hardware, except for the large faucet in the sink, which easily splashed and soaked clothes when washing hands. I recommend turning it down a bit. I had luggage that needed weighing. I asked the front desk for assistance, but they said they couldn't. I don't understand this; customer service requires thoughtful attention, not just evasiveness. Breakfast was always light, healthy, and delicious, though occasionally a raw tomato would go bad, which was unhygienic. I hope the hotel will address this.

The room size is okay, there's free parking, and it's not too noisy being on the street.
