Right in the middle of Moneglia, close to everything; beach, restaurants, shopping and 10-15 minutes walk from train station. Stayed at room 304 with nice balcony and sea views from bed.. Fridge in the room. Beach towels but only fresh ones every third day. Nice breakfast. Good coffee. Good friendly service. Will definitely come back.

We stayed at Hotel Piccolo as part of a hiking holiday for seven nights, and it’s a great place to stay. Rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast is good and it is across the road from a swimming beach which is popular with families. Very easy to move around to other towns, as the train station is only a five minute walk, also it’s far enough away from the busy towns of Cinque Terre, so very relaxing…. a good choice of restaurants as well. Highly recommend Hotel Piccolo

Let me start by saying this is the only review you will need to read ignore all others. People on this website complain about the food they are wrong it’s amazing the chefs work so hard along with the wait staff constant top ups of the food. The DJ nicest guy you’ll ever meet he does the bingo which is fun, he will even help you get a discount down at the water sports . The place is VERY CLEAN rooms, pool and kitchen. Google says it’s a 4 minute walk from the beach it’s really like 2 minutes. No sun after 2 but if you go down to the beach most places will let you sit if you buy a drink. The hill isn’t too bad i don’t understand how anyone can complain about that. Overall an amazing hotel i would reccomend to anymore.

The pool is excellent with lots of spar options in it. Just a very nice hotel in a very lovely location.

The hotel is in a great location, but the amenities were disappointing. The room offered no shampoo (only a liquid soap in a wall dispenser), the hair dryer didn’t work, the tissue box was empty, no blanket on the bed, and no blackout blinds (it gets very bright in the room even with the thin curtains closed). On top of that the jacuzzi didn’t work and the breakfast offering was low grade. I mentioned this to the front desk, and they didn’t even offer an apology let alone some sort of compensation. They just didn’t care. The shame is the place could be so much better with just a little effort and care. Not worth the almost 200€ they charged.

We were delighted with our stay: very comfortable room on the second floor, the palm trees somewhat obstructing the sea view but it was not a problem, the small terrace being very pleasant. Comfortable room (may be a spring in the mattress ....), very clean, impeccable and renewed bedding. Impeccable bathroom, top cleaning (daily change of towels). Half board more than satisfactory: varied breakfast served at the buffet by the staff, 3 choices at dinner for starters and main courses (excellent) after varied and tasty antispati, good wine list. Stylish, dedicated, competent and smiling staff. Good value for money. Definitely recommendable hotel.

Close to the beach, central, good breakfast on a terrace close to the street. Speak poor English and no German. Room at the back with very loud delivery noises from a small supermarket from 6 a.m. in the morning. Hardly bearable. Pity..
