Guest UserThe staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They confirmed my check-in details and the hotel's location in advance. Upon arrival, they immediately offered to help with my luggage and even assisted with purchasing tickets for the Song Dynasty City show (I didn't realize discounted tickets needed to be bought a day in advance, but the hotel managed to get them for me). They were consistently warm and welcoming whenever I saw them.
The breakfast was plentiful and, more importantly, delicious, with a fantastic view from the restaurant.
The room was spacious and modern, featuring a double vanity and a large dressing mirror, perfect for two women to get ready simultaneously. My friend was extremely pleased.
Initially, I was a bit worried based on some user-uploaded photos on Amap, but thankfully, the hotel's photos on Trip.com were accurate and trustworthy, not misleading. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

I used to stay in hotels, but this time, wanting to better experience the local culture in Lijiang Old Town, I chose a guesthouse. From the moment we checked in, the owner, like a friend, brewed us tea and offered us flower cakes and dried beef. As soon as we entered our room, the daily afternoon tea set arrived: tiramisu tarts made with real cream, fresh and crisp strawberries and blueberries, and freshly cut cantaloupe and watermelon. I'm very sensitive to smells, and the room's air freshener and toiletries had a scent similar to Le Labo, which was lovely. The room offered great views of the snow-capped mountains. The guesthouse's location on the main street was perfect – lively but quiet. Even as a light sleeper, I was never disturbed by the street noise. Whenever I stayed elsewhere in Yunnan, I unconsciously compared it to this place. This guesthouse is truly my 'white moonlight' in Yunnan, and I'll never consider another option when I come to Lijiang again. Many thanks to the manager for the pick-up, help with luggage, and recommendations for various local specialty restaurants, and to the owner for her warm hospitality and sophisticated taste. The guesthouse serves breakfast; the auntie's rice noodles were generously topped, and the owner's cat, Aobai, is both cute and sassy :)

The B&B owner was incredibly welcoming. They added me on WeChat early on and gave me lots of helpful tips even before I arrived, which was very thoughtful. Since we stayed for three consecutive nights, airport pick-up and drop-off were included. When we arrived, they were already there waiting, even helping us with our heavy suitcases. The welcome gift included flower cakes and tea. The breakfast was delicious too. Their large terrace offers a fantastic view of the entire ancient town, though unfortunately, due to the bad weather, we didn't get to see the snowy mountains.

This hotel was recommended by a friend, and after actually staying there, I was truly blown away. I rarely, if ever, review hotels, but I wholeheartedly recommend this one.
**Service:** As soon as I booked, a concierge added me on WeChat, providing hotel information and activity arrangements. They even arranged a business car for airport pickup. The service, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly attentive. One night, I felt unwell in the middle of the night and thought everyone would be off duty, but after I mentioned it in the group chat, they immediately brought me an oxygen tank.
**Environment:** The hotel is located at the foot of a snowy mountain, right at the entrance of Yuhu Village, offering first-class scenery. The hotel provides shuttle services to the village whenever needed.
**Food:** The cured pork ribs and free-range chicken hotpot included in the hotel package was absolutely delicious – far better than the restaurants at InterContinental or Aman. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was exquisite, and I really enjoyed that style of breakfast. There's an all-day self-service bar with drinks and fruits, and the fruits are all high quality, including my favorite passion fruit. There's also a very tasty afternoon tea, which can be enjoyed on the lawn if the weather is good.
**Activities:** During our stay, we participated in horseback riding and hiking to pick pinecones and mushrooms (the hotel doesn't allow guests to eat what they pick for safety reasons). The hiking scenery was beautiful, and even my seven-year-old child completed the entire trek.
In short, it was truly a perfect experience.

Guest UserLijiang Accommodation Nirvana | The ultimate luxury retreat hidden in the heart of the Old Town – the Bolelang Cliff Pool Hotel. It perfectly captures a high-end, wild luxury vibe! No need to venture out of the city; you're right in the bustling Old Town, yet you get to enjoy a private, upscale serenity that truly elevates your vacation experience. I have to commend the hotel's layout; unlike the cramped feeling of typical guesthouses, its public service areas are incredibly spacious. The courtyards are beautifully tiered, and the scenic pathways are exquisitely designed. Lounges, observation decks, and dining areas are all available, with a full range of high-end amenities, providing a one-stop shop for dining, entertainment, and relaxation.
You can immerse yourself in a relaxed vacation without even leaving the hotel, ensuring maximum privacy and comfort. What really melted my heart were the little healing touches! The hotel has its own adorable lineup of therapeutic pets: two fluffy, gentle, and incredibly cute alpacas, and three elegant peacocks strolling through the courtyard.
The absolute must-visit spot is the infinity cliff pool. From its elevated position, you get panoramic views of the entire Lijiang Old Town, with distant snow-capped mountains and the sky's reflection shimmering on the water. Whether it's a sunny day, sunset, or night, the ambiance shifts beautifully. Any pose you strike turns into a magazine-worthy shot, with an automatic high-end filter applied. This is undoubtedly the pinnacle of Lijiang vacation photography!

Guest UserThe staff was very nice and even picked us up from the street (the taxi cannot enter the old town, you have to walk for a bit, which is totally fine). The staff even helped us carry our luggage (see the picture).
They then greeted us with a selection of local tea and were very friendly. They also advised us on how to prepare for the Yulong Xueshan day trip, when to leave, etc. The room is very cute and their terrace has an amazing view. I would definitely stay there again.

Anonymous UserThe Courtyard Mansions is an elegant and peaceful place, just a few minutes from the main road, making it very convenient for getting around. The ancient city is beautiful, especially as dusk falls and the lights come on, it becomes even more vibrant. When the bonfire lights up, people gather at Sifang Street to dance, and tourists enthusiastically join in, dancing in a circle. It was a joyful trip.

Guest UserThis time, I was traveling with my parents and children, and I deliberately avoided the noisy Old Town of Dayan. I took my friend's recommendation and chose this guesthouse in Yuhu Village, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! The guesthouse is right next to the village parking lot, making self-driving and parking incredibly convenient. My parents and the kids didn't have to walk far when getting in and out of the car.
The entire guesthouse only has six rooms, so it's quiet with few people, offering maximum privacy. It was exceptionally comfortable to stay here. The owner was very enthusiastic and provided us with detailed travel tips. The courtyard is elegantly and cozily decorated. Even on a rainy day, sitting in the courtyard, sipping tea and chatting, gazing at the surrounding mountain scenery, felt incredibly relaxing. The guesthouse also has a coffee area and a restaurant. The local dishes recommended by the owner were authentic and made with fresh ingredients; both the elderly and children thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
The rooms were clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and complete facilities. Our family rested very peacefully. The owner and staff were warm and kind, always ready to help promptly with any needs, providing truly attentive service. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoying a slow-paced time at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, this place is especially suitable for a relaxing family vacation. I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends looking for a quiet getaway! I'm planning another trip with my girlfriends in October!

Here's my review of the Banyan Tree Lijiang; overall, it was a very comfortable stay.
The room featured a king-sized bed and a sofa bed. The entire place was spotless, and any request we made to the staff was met with a prompt and thorough response.
I particularly loved the room layout. The sleeping area with the large bed, the living area with the sofa, and the bathroom each had doors that could be closed off, creating separate, private spaces. It felt as spacious as a two-bedroom suite.
It also came with a private courtyard that included a hot spring jacuzzi, with the water temperature perfectly adjusted. The whole garden was incredibly quiet, making for a truly relaxing soak.

Guest UserThis hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! Situated right near Baisha Ancient Town and at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it boasts a prime, front-row view of the mountain. With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip.
The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey.
The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home.
The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!
