Environment: It's a genuine cave dwelling. Because it's located in a village, the journey is a bit rustic. The owner called ahead to remind us, which made the experience more enjoyable and allowed us to appreciate the natural beauty. Hygiene: It can't compare to a hotel. Being right outside the door, it's dusty and there are bound to be some insects. Those with a strong aversion to dirt should be cautious and avoid this option. Facilities: The owner has done a great job. Everything you need is there, showing care and attention: smart controls, TV stand adjustment, fresh air system… Service: A big thumbs up to the owner – a man of few words but decisive action, clear thinking, and strong execution. No wasted words, just keeping his word. After seeing so many insincere smiles and empty pleasantries from the service industry on the road, this owner is a breath of fresh air. The courtyard is wonderfully comfortable, filled with both flowers and fresh produce. The owners are exceptionally warm, welcoming, and diligent. They prepare delicious meals using ingredients freshly picked from their own garden, which includes tomatoes, cucumbers, winter melon, daylilies, bitter greens, watermelons, Chinese melon, and a variety of other fruits and vegetables. We arrived on Friday for the weekend, and it even rained, creating a delightfully cool breeze in the courtyard. The expansive views offered a panoramic vista of the unique Loess Plateau landscape. We definitely plan to return in the autumn with our children and parents for another stay.

The stay experience exceeded expectations. It is a highly recommended quality hotel. Special thanks to the housekeeper for her meticulous service. When she found out that we brought children with us, she took the initiative to prepare extra toiletries. The quality is very good and very high-end! The front desk was very professional during check-in and check-out, and upgraded our room, which was very cost-effective.

This is my second time here. The room is clean, tidy, and well-arranged. It's equipped with a smart assistant, and they even have a robot for room service. The hotel pays attention to requests and called me beforehand to ask if I needed airport pickup. The front desk staff are gentle and thoughtful. Although the hotel's location is a bit out of the way, Yan'an is a small city. As long as you're not going to the New Area, a 10-minute taxi ride will get you anywhere. Getting to Erdao Street also only takes about ten minutes.

It is very close to the tourist service center of the scenic spot, just a few minutes walk. The room is large, clean and cool, the bed is very comfortable, the toiletries are complete, and the towels and bath towels are very clean. The proprietress is the recommendation officer of the scenic spot and can drive tourists into the canyon. The seven-seater car costs 200 yuan (70/person and you have to pay for the car). But firstly, it avoids the peak crowds. Secondly, she will help take photos at the most essential scenic spots. The photography skills are very high, and they took a lot of wonderful photos for us. The food is also delicious. The yard is very big, where we can relax in the shade, drink tea and relax. Will recommend to family and friends to stay here.

The location is superb, within walking distance of Baota Mountain, and surrounded by supermarkets and local Shaanxi restaurants, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The rooms are brand new and fully equipped, with soft bedding and a separate shower and toilet, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The front desk staff are warm and efficient, proactively recommending sightseeing routes – very thoughtful and attentive. The entire room is spotless, with pristine white linens and no unpleasant odors; the housekeeping is meticulous and thorough. A perfect stay – a must-choose when visiting Yan'an!

It's located directly across from Yan'an Train Station and next to the bus terminal, making it convenient for intercity travel. While the accommodations are inexpensive, they don't offer the usual bottled water and require a 100 yuan deposit. I've stayed at dozens of hotels in China, but this was the first time I've been asked for a deposit. Yan'an is the starting point for my trip to the Wucha Grand Canyon.
