The location is excellent, right next to the museum, with its own parking lot across the street, making parking very convenient. We booked the Qing'an Family Room in advance for spring break; besides a small crib, the double bed is 2.4 meters wide! The balcony has a mountain spring-fed soaking tub. The breakfast's specialty bamboo fungus noodles were delicious, as were the homemade side dishes. The lunch set meal was reasonably priced and tasty. The next day, when it was difficult to get a taxi to the high-speed rail station, they even helped us arrange a ride.

Anonymous UserI've stayed in numerous high-quality guesthouses and upscale hotels, and this is my first time writing a review. If the guesthouse owner intends to price their property at this level, I suggest they travel around and stay in similarly priced guesthouses in the 1500-2500 RMB range in Sichuan and Yunnan to experience the difference in user experience. The hotel's external infrastructure is fine, but the amenities are extremely perfunctory. First, the bathroom and shower are entirely made of transparent glass, a point that has been criticized by countless guests. Second, the Loft rooms are practically uninhabitable in summer; the air conditioning doesn't work, and the upstairs bedrooms are extremely hot. The staff were fully aware of this problem and offered to change our room after we checked in. Given this, why open the Loft rooms for booking in the summer? How are guests supposed to sleep if the hotel is fully booked? Isn't this deception? Third, there's absolutely no signal from China Unicom or China Mobile inside the hotel—I'm not exaggerating when I say there's none. The hotel is aware of this issue, so a stable Wi-Fi connection is essential. Ironically, the Wi-Fi was also intermittent. The staff said it was because bamboo rats frequently chewed through the cables. If they knew bamboo rats would chew through cables and the Wi-Fi would often fail, why didn't they provide portable Wi-Fi devices? This prevented me from holding meetings or working online. The hotel staff's work attitude was acceptable, but everything else really didn't justify the price. The owner should really go out and see the difference!

Their house is located halfway up the mountain, very close by bus from the west gate. The bus stop at the entrance requires a short wait, but you can flag it down. Driving is recommended for more freedom. The rooms are very clean, and the owner and grandma's fried rice is especially delicious. We stayed in a room with a super large balcony and a fantastic view, surrounded by lush bamboo. This place is perfect for quiet tea drinking, meditation, and relaxation. If you can endure solitude and want to connect with nature, then this place is truly a great choice.

The twin room had very large beds and comfortable bedding, plus an electric blanket. There was air conditioning in the room and the hotel had an elevator. The food was delicious. The hotel environment was very quiet, with parking, a washing machine, an outdoor restaurant, a swimming pool, and a play area for children. The front desk service was attentive and thoughtful; they reminded guests to take umbrellas and be careful of slippery roads on rainy days. When taking orders, after knowing what guests liked, they also proactively reminded guests that they could add extra items for free.

Guest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Shunan Zhuhai Xiuzhu Pingzhuang Residence for one night, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the owners, who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Their hospitality was truly exceptional—they were always ready to help with anything I needed, whether it was providing local recommendations or ensuring my stay was as seamless as possible. The residence itself is charming and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated, with all the amenities I could ask for. The location is also fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options.
What truly stood out, though, was the genuine care and attention from the owners. They made me feel like a valued guest, and their positive energy added so much to my stay. I highly recommend Shunan Zhuhai Xiuzhu Pingzhuang Residence to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. I’m already looking forward to returning in the future!

The hotel is very close to the core scenic area, just a few hundred meters from the Seven-Colored Waterfall, making transportation very convenient. The hotel also has a large private parking lot, ensuring easy access to both transportation and parking. Even on holidays, there's no traffic congestion at the entrance, making it quick to get around, and parking spaces are always plentiful.
The hotel itself is very convenient for accommodation, dining, and families with children, as everything is in one courtyard, preventing kids from running around. There's also a small public hot spring for relaxing feet.
The owner helps with meal planning, and the portions are larger than expected. They also offer complimentary snacks based on the meal's quality, making it very affordable overall.
The owner also helps with route planning and recommends attractions, saving a lot of time on research. Combined with the hotel's advantageous location, there was virtually no backtracking.
Overall, the hotel offers facilities commensurate with its price, and the service and experience are relatively excellent value. Highly recommended.

Guest UserThe hotel is located inside the attraction area which we have to buy the entrance ticket to get to enter. The lady owner will drive out to pick us up to her hotel and she helps to buy discounted cable car ticket to view the sea of bamboo. Moreover, the bamboo feast set lunch (RMB588) provided at the hotel is quite good but a bit expensive. Some of the rooms we booked have toilets with squatting and therefore, please call the hotel to ensure the sitting toilet instead of squatting one. She is willing to change one of the rooms for us to sitting toilet.

Service: I really have to complain about this. Don't listen to that auntie downstairs. I suggest booking on-site because they're different from others; once you book, it's non-refundable if you don't stay (it says free refunds within a few minutes, no refunds after that, and we only found this out later). The staff initially said it was refundable because of a location issue, but even after we went downstairs, it was still non-refundable. We contacted Ctrip multiple times, and they said the hotel owner told us to contact them. The owner then said the gist was no refund unless we stayed. The person who contacted us downstairs even suggested we eat at their restaurant. Otherwise, it was okay. Especially the front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic.
Environment: The 199 package only covers the first floor, which has a lot of mosquitoes. I don't recommend using the 199 booking; the mosquitoes are plentiful and the environment is bad. I also suggest rooms on the 4th or 5th floors with enclosed windows. Rooms without enclosed windows also have a lot of mosquitoes. The 4th and 5th floors are a bit more expensive. I don't recommend the private hot spring rooms; the tub there wasn't clean, with a lot of limescale.
Cleanliness: I didn't check the other cleanliness details when I went, but the private hot spring in the room was subpar. It was a bit disappointing. We originally went there for this, but later we didn't want it anymore.
Facilities: There's free parking, but you might need to be a little careful because the slope is quite steep. Pay attention to your driving style and turning angles when going up and down the slope to avoid scraping the undercarriage. I scraped mine, and several metal bolts on the undercarriage were scraped off. One of those bolts damaged my oil pan, causing a slight oil leak. I won't comment on the other aspects since I didn't experience them.
Please only book if you're sure you'll be staying. If you're unsure, I suggest not booking. No refunds! No refunds! No refunds! No refunds! Be cautious when booking offline. Be cautious when ordering.

The room is clean and hygienic, and was renovated in the past two years with complete facilities. The owner and his family are warm and friendly, and they will charter a car to travel to various attractions at any time. The food is of good quality, but the price is a bit expensive.

Located beside the scenic Xingwen Stone Sea area, The Wonders of the World Bohai Hotel offers a convenient base for exploring the region’s natural attractions. The hotel is relatively new and provides basic amenities like Wi-Fi, a restaurant, and 24-hour front desk service, making it suitable for short stays. Guests often appreciate its excellent location close to caves and geological sites, though some reviews mention that cleanliness and overall maintenance could be improved. Overall, it’s a decent, budget-friendly option if location matters more than luxury
