The room was very spacious, with a well-designed layout and fully smart controls – you can literally just speak to manage everything. The cleanliness was impeccable, both in the room and the breakfast area. The guesthouse is less than 1 km from the Huangguoshu Second Service Area, which has a large selection of restaurants. If it's not too sunny, you can easily walk there, and the cool breeze makes for a pleasant stroll. If you don't feel like venturing far, the guesthouse is located right above the 'Bund,' where you'll find plenty of dining options.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and modern. However, shower room tiling can be improve further for one of the family room toilet. But the other toilets in the other rooms are good. The location is good, near the second entrance of Huang Guo Shu Waterfall which only opens for day trip. It has MacDonald & bubble tea shop nearby for comfort food. However, it is a 20 min walk from the main ticketing entrance for foreigners for day and evening tickets. Though it is quite a distance, but it is better than getting stuck in the heavy traffic during this peak season. Talking a stroll, passing by the restaurants are ok. The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with one parcel collection from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. They also send our family out to the main road as our 9 seater big bus is not able to enter the small lane to the homestay. To walk to the main road, there is a staircase which is about 1 min walk up. Ok for young and young seniors, but may not be very suitable for very old people with walking difficulties. Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

This hotel truly lives up to its 4-star standard, even offering a complimentary shuttle service to take you to restaurants or the scenic area entrance. They've also built their own private garage with direct elevator access, which is super convenient. The room was spotless, the bathroom felt very clean, and there was even a small balcony. Plus, free breakfast was included. My only regret is that I drove 550 kilometers just to stay one night and then had to rush back to Chongqing the next day, so I didn't get to explore the scenic area at all. I'll be driving back again in a couple of days, and I'll definitely be staying here again.

The service was excellent! The butler was super responsive, even helping my child print out homework and giving us coffee vouchers. Just a heads-up, the coffee shop doesn't open until 11 AM. The environment is lovely and very quiet, and my child had a blast swimming. To help you improve even further, here are a few suggestions: We stayed in the Xue Zhu room, and the bed frame on the first floor creaks when you sit on it. It would be great if that could be fixed. It would be helpful to have smaller pillows available for children. Also, it might be a good idea to ask about check-in times beforehand and do the pest control earlier. The mosquito coils were quite strong, and my nose felt really uncomfortable at night 😷. When cleaning, if the showerhead could be adjusted to a handheld spray, it would prevent adults from getting wet when turning on the water to bathe children. I look forward to an even better experience on my next stay! Still highly recommend this place.

After days of research, I'm so glad I chose to stay within the scenic area instead of Anshun city. The ”blue hour” view from the rooftop observation deck was incredibly therapeutic. The hotel offers shuttle service to the visitor center from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and the spacious business van was very comfortable. The driver even proactively asked us where we wanted to go and added us on WeChat for easy communication. Dining was also convenient; there are plenty of eateries just outside the hotel, or you can order in if you prefer. They even have a washing machine and dryer. The room itself was very spacious and excellent!

Huangguoshu Muye Fairy Tale Homestay Highly Recommended (approx. 300 words) The most delightful surprise of my Huangguoshu trip was staying at the Muye Fairy Tale Homestay. The entire trip was incredibly enjoyable, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone visiting Huangguoshu! The homestay has its own small zoo area where gentle, adorable rabbits are everywhere, and you can easily reach out and pet them. The deer aren't afraid of strangers and will even approach to interact with you. There are also gentle ponies, lambs, and donkeys that are quiet and well-behaved. The children played there so much they didn't want to leave; it was incredibly therapeutic. The food completely exceeded my expectations. You absolutely must try the signature hot pot; it's authentic, flavorful, and incredibly fragrant. Besides the hot pot, the other home-style dishes were also delicious. The boiled pork and tiger-skin green peppers were made with generous portions of high-quality ingredients, making for a very satisfying meal. In the evening, sitting in the courtyard enjoying the breeze, and looking up at night, you're greeted by a sky full of dazzling stars. Without the distractions of city lights, it's tranquil and romantic. The staff were attentive and considerate, patiently answering all my questions before and after my check-in, and responding promptly to any needs with a gentle and thoughtful attitude. The guesthouse is clean and tidy with a lovely atmosphere. You can get close to animals, enjoy local delicacies, and be accompanied by a stunning starry sky at night. It's suitable for family trips or groups of friends, offering excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Huangguoshu. Highly recommended!

This hotel boasts an excellent location, less than a 5-minute walk from the No. 3 sightseeing bus stop, which is the closest stop to the scenic area. The hotel facilities are very new, and the management style resembles that of a large chain hotel. Room service is handled by robots. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the bed is very comfortable and spacious. The hotel has its own underground parking lot, making it very convenient for those traveling by car. There's a food street right across from the hotel, so dining is super easy. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Huangguoshu. On our first day, we entered the park around 3 PM, avoiding the peak crowds. We visited the Great Waterfall, Doupotang, and even got a bird's-eye view, and there weren't many people around. On the second day, we woke up early and took the sightseeing bus to Tianxingqiao around 6:40 AM. It was very uncrowded, and there was no congestion at all. We had finished our visit and returned to the hotel by 9:30 AM. This off-peak travel strategy was fantastic. Huangguoshu Waterfall is definitely worth a visit; it's truly magnificent. The hotel's excellent location also contributed greatly to our experience.

We booked a room with a waterfall view, and to our surprise, the hotel's own waterfall viewing platform was right next to it. After spending the afternoon at Tianxing Bridge, we had dinner right there on the hotel's platform. The view was absolutely priceless; what we ate hardly mattered. We chose this hotel based on many guest reviews, knowing its advantages, but experiencing it firsthand truly saved us from unnecessary detours. The 'God's eye view' of the great waterfall is right outside the hotel's main entrance, to the right. It's less than a kilometer's walk, so there's no need to follow online guides suggesting you walk from Doupotang. If you have a reservation for Water Curtain Cave, head towards the great waterfall from the hotel's VIP通道 (VIP access). Don't buy the downhill elevator ticket, as this entire path is downhill and offers views you'd miss from the elevator. When you see the Water Curtain Cave sign halfway down the mountain, go there first. The exit of Water Curtain Cave leads you across a suspension bridge. If you're early enough and the staff haven't started their shift, you can cross the bridge directly to the bottom of the great waterfall for a front-on view. Once staff are on duty, reverse walking on the bridge is prohibited, so head towards the elevator. This path is flat. Walk to the elevator exit and then go down to the great waterfall. After enjoying the great waterfall, cross the suspension bridge towards the elevator and buy an uphill elevator ticket. If you want to return to the hotel, absolutely do not follow the park signs for the exit; that's the great waterfall visitor center, where you'd catch a bus to other scenic spots.

I must praise the hotel's attention to detail! The bathroom was spotless with a separate shower and toilet, the toiletries had a pleasant, light fragrance, and the breakfast had a wide variety of choices, including local specialty rice noodles. The value for money was outstanding, and I've already recommended it to my friends. The receptionist, Xiao Chen, provided excellent service—attentive and patient. Thumbs up!

Upon arrival, I received a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Huangguoshu Waterfall, and it's also a convenient 10-15 minute walk to the entrance. The staff were very welcoming. The only downside was the rather basic breakfast.
