Mountain View Hotels in Ulaanbaatar

The hotel was great, can heartily recommend it! The breakfast was very tasty, the room was spacious and super comfortable, the gym and the sauna were both excellent! We also had lunch there twice and were delighted! Only minor issue was that the sauna came with an extra charge and we weren’t informed about it.

Firstly, this hotel is Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's highest-rated luxury hotel, and most of its services are of a very high standard. For example, the two male managers who served me on the night of my check-in were professional and friendly, which prompted me to extend my stay for another day at my own expense. The hotel's dining service is also top-notch, both in terms of staff quality and food excellence – truly fantastic. However, on the last day of my extended stay, there were a few incidents that I can't quite get over. Firstly, a female manager, in front of several staff members, questioned whether I had paid for the first two nights. This was not only bad luck during the Chinese New Year, but such an inquiry in public, without regard for the guest's dignity, is truly debatable. Secondly, I trusted the hotel to help me call taxis, one for sightseeing in the morning and another for the airport the next day. The cost was significantly higher, but they explained it, and I accepted. The taxi for sightseeing went smoothly as I booked it on the spot. When I returned to the hotel at noon, no one informed me whether the taxi for the 6 AM airport transfer the next day had been confirmed. I couldn't help but go downstairs to ask if there was a taxi available to the State Department Store. After a staff member made a call, they said the taxi company had no cars available due to the holiday, and I could only walk or try my luck on the street. I was dumbfounded at that moment. I was supposed to leave at 5:50 AM tomorrow, and no one had informed me whether the taxi booking was successful, nor was there a contract or notification. What was I supposed to do? So, I quickly arranged a car through a travel agency for an airport transfer at 5:50 AM the next morning. When I checked out at 5:30 AM the next day, the receptionist told me a car had been booked. It was a very passive situation, and I also had to explain the issue with the room fees from the previous two days. Fortunately, the receptionist that day was very professional and understood my urgency to catch my flight, helping me resolve each issue professionally. Highly commendable!!

My very 1st trip to Ulaanbaatar has been made perfect with the staying at Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel. It’s located in a very central and convenient area, just next to the Sukhbaatar Square. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast has a good selection. More importantly, the staffs at the Reception desk are extremely friendly, professional and helpful. I wish to give 10 out of 5 for their incredible hospitality. In particular, when I inquired the airport bus, Degi not only helped me downloading the UB Smart Bus app to check out the buses but also prepared a small map to ensure I can find the bus stop at night. She also helped us in arranging a cab for work. Bold, a young gentleman on his gap year, warmly received us upon arrival. He even took some cash out of his own pocket when I asked for help in getting smaller notes for the cab charge. Besides, they also speak very decent English, making our communications much easier and impeccable. I shall definitely come back to Best Western Tuushin for future trips to Ulaanbaatar. I had a pleasant stay at the Ramada Hotel overall. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, helpful, and made the experience smooth from check-in to check-out. The location is a major highlight for me, as it’s very convenient. I had to pick up my husband early in the morning from the airport, and it only took about 45 minutes, which worked out perfectly. There is also a lounge on the top floor, which is a nice feature, although it felt a bit old-fashioned. In fact, the hotel overall has an older style and could benefit from some modernization. The room itself was on the smaller side but still comfortable enough for a short stay. One issue I noticed was with the bathroom ventilation. Even though I was on a non-smoking floor, when I turned on the ventilator, cigarette smoke seemed to come through. Once I turned it off, the smell disappeared. Additionally, we stayed two nights, and housekeeping did not come to make up the room, which was a bit disappointing. This is an area the hotel could improve. Overall, despite a few inconveniences, I would still recommend this hotel for its great service and excellent location.

The second stay here wasn't as smooth as the first time. When i arrived, there was no electricity, which meant i had to go up and down to ask someone to help me open the door every time i left the room. Also, even though i booked a massage session at 8:30 pm to spend some time in the sauna beforehand, i was reminded about the massage and pushed to have it starting from 8 pm. Couldn't really relax. As i was missing breakfast due to the morning flight, I was given a bento box - a sandwich, small bottle of water and a snack. Maybe a fruit and a yogurt on top of that would be better.

Paid for rooms with breakfast but 1 one the days I went down there were no breakfast service in the hall. Was told to order and they will send it up. End up my breakfast never came and I had to call and complain but the lady over the phone just hanged up on me. Last time patronising this hotel

Отель расположен довольно удачно: около 2 км по прямой от автовокзала, куда мы приезжали и, соответственно, откуда уезжали домой. Искать его не надо, он стоит на центральной улице города, но при этом не на дороге, поэтому шумно от дороги не было. До центра: музеев, центральной площади и прочего далековато, но на центральной улице вечная пробка из машин, поэтому не факт, что быстрее было бы на такси или автобусе, поэтому мы ходили пешком в районе 40 минут. Номер просторный, кровать удобная, уборка, смена полотенец, шампуни в ванной - каждый день. Интернет быстрый, персонал приветливый, одна девушка говорила по-русски. Останавливались на два дня. В первый день очень хотела написать плохой отзыв на завтрак, потому что уже через полчаса после его начала еды не осталось совсем (хотела взять добавки, остались пустые подносы) и новой еды не принесли, ни еды, ни напитков. На следующий день работала другая смена и все оперативно подносили, и еду, и соки, и кофе.

The reception staff and all the other employees were truly friendly and kind. They were quick and efficient with everything. The bathroom was very clean, and the room itself was spacious. Compared to other hotels of the same category, the price was more affordable, yet the room was larger and more comfortable. This is the first hotel, in my experience, that has handled every aspect of guest comfort and service so thoughtfully and well. Even though I have stayed at many hotels, this one stood out as the friendliest. They were also very understanding and flexible when it came to extending the room during checkout time. Many other hotels tend to rush guests or charge extra immediately, but that was not the case here. I will definitely choose this hotel again whenever I return.

Best hostel to enjoy the teji! Bide, refrigerator, coffee pot, electric outlet by bed, bathroom floor and ger floor heating were all great. I gave you extra towels and toilet paper. Breakfast was delicious, both Mongolian soup and American. In particular, the Mongolian soup tasted like Korean Oh #gi beef soup, so it was so good in the chilly weather! It's quite far to Turtle Rock (8km) and you can't walk. Please note.

For the location of this home (close to where I am going), all kinds of general, although not to the point of very bad, but also can not boast anything. At night, you can hear the sound of the KTV downstairs. The breakfast is very poor, not delicious, the cold meal is mainly, the service is very general, the smile service can not be done, and the restaurant on the second floor tastes not good.
