GGuest UserReally Disappointing Communication, But Decent Hostel Overall I contacted the hotel through Trip.com a week before my arrival but they never responded. I also sent two direct emails with no reply, and when I tried calling, the number didn’t work, not even when a Mongolian with a local SIM card tried. They claim to offer a shuttle service, but my request was ignored, then rejected bia trip.com, and I had to arrange my own transport. Only ONE HOUR BEFORE my flight departed did they finally message me saying they could arrange it, which was far too late to be useful. Also they couldn't be trusted at all. Communication and customer service were extremely extremely poor. Wondering if they ignore requests on purpose and they just cant be bothered replying to emails and messages? My check-in was quite late, around 1:00 am, and since their website says check-in is only until midnight, I just wanted confirmation it was okay, but they ignored all my messages. That said, the hostel itself is decent. The capsule beds are comfortable, even though my USB charger did not work. The showers are ok, and breakfast was ok too. Special thanks to the morning reception ladies who were kind and helped me get a Unitel SIM card. To be noted that it is not even allowed to drink alcohol in the lobby, not even to quietly have a beer with someone else. I understand it is not a party hostel, but this rule feels a bit exaggerated. Left after 1 night and went somewhere else where they offered a much better service

GGuest UserGood and clean hotel. While it's rated as 5-star, I would give it a high international 4-star rating. Staff are helpful and their English is very good. Location overlooks the main square of UB - this is a plus and minus. If there are a lot of activities/celebrations going on while you're in UB and you're facing the square, you'll hear ALL OF IT. If you're looking to go the main business area just north of the Shangri-la Mall, then it's about a casual 15-minute walk.

GGira’NThe reception staff and all the other employees were truly friendly and kind. They were quick and efficient with everything. The bathroom was very clean, and the room itself was spacious. Compared to other hotels of the same category, the price was more affordable, yet the room was larger and more comfortable. This is the first hotel, in my experience, that has handled every aspect of guest comfort and service so thoughtfully and well. Even though I have stayed at many hotels, this one stood out as the friendliest. They were also very understanding and flexible when it came to extending the room during checkout time. Many other hotels tend to rush guests or charge extra immediately, but that was not the case here. I will definitely choose this hotel again whenever I return.

DDuerjiaThe hotel is very clean, nicely decorated, and its location is great. Many city attractions are within walking distance. Breakfast was decent, and the views were excellent. However, I was a bit disappointed that the hotel had a separate breakfast area exclusively for Korean guests, and others weren't allowed in. I would have really liked to try it.

GGuest UserI would highly recommend this hotel, it is well located near the city centre and its staff are very friendly and helpful. They arranged a car to pick us up from the airport when we arrived and helped us check the time and location of the show we wanted to see. When we arrived they upgraded our room, which was beautiful, spacious and very clean.

AAleFragolaWe had a great experience at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was big and very comfortable, we really had a good rest. The room has everything you need, such as hangers, place to store your belongings, a fridge and complementary water and tea. We used their laundry service and our clothes were clean and soft. The service is amazing, they helped us book a taxi to go to the airpor, answered all our questions and always tried to help us. The location is convenient, you can easily reach by walk the main tourists' spots and restaurants. Very tasty breakfast, although it's not a huge buffet, I found that there was still quite few options and have healthy options, even for people like us who do not usually have savory breakfast. I loved their overnight porridge and muffins. If I ever come back to UB I will stay again at this hotel.

OOng L KThis location of this hotel is quite strategic considering the number of restaurant, pubs and food outlets nearby provided you are willing to do some walking.. Hotel room is clean and service is commendable. I wish to highlight one particular front reception staff for special mention.Her name is ERDENEKHISHIG. She was kind & helpful and would go out of her way to provide service and assistance like calling a cab on our behalf. However this hotel also has her shortcomings. Breakfast is too basic and monotonous. Bread which is the most universal item is not available. Also check out time at 10am is ridiculously early. It also puzzles me that this hotel still provide smoking rooms which is totally umnecessary as the current trend is towards non smoking rooms for the whole hotel. I hope my positive feedback will help your hotel to upgrade her image further.

GGuest UserDON’T BE TRICKED LIKE I WAS The listing says it is a 6 minute drive from Chinggis Khan airport, but it in fact is a 30 minute drive. It is very close to the OLD airport which is not in use anymore. They offer free airport pickup, but we stayed the night before our flight so we did not need pickup, we needed drop off. Even though we didn’t use the free pickup service, we still had to pay $25 USD for airport dropoff. I had emailed the property twice during the week leading up to our stay to ask about drop off service and never got a reply. Also, there is a lack of communication between the staff- When we arrived at the property we had to call 3 times before they finally came to meet us to get our bags, then there was confusion about what room we were supposed to get and we were taken to 3 different rooms before it was the right one. The second one we had already settled in and had a shower before they came and told us it was the wrong room. We didn’t have a car so we walked around the area to find food and there were little to no restaurants, and only a couple of very small markets, so we ended up having to order food from the property restaurant. Every room is different as we discovered from being taken to 3 different rooms. They are verrrry spacious but some are definitely in better condition than others. Fortunately our final room was the best, however there was a kitchen stocked with pots, pans, rice cooker, cook top, plates, but no silverware, no microwave, and no refrigerator. Why would you have a kitchen area and not have a refrigerator and silverware? There also was a washer in unit but no dryer. We didn’t have time to wait for our clothes to air dry during our one night stay so that was also useless. Overall, it was a cheap stay but you get what you pay for.
