H9 Hotel Nine Ulaanbaatar ★★★
"Booked two rooms and stayed twice, once at the beginning and once at the end of our trip. The breakfast was amazing and on our last day, we had to check out at 4:30am so couldn't have breakfast (starts at 6am). When we told reception this, they offered us takeout. It was a tasty sandwich, yogurt, and bottle of water (or coffee). One thing to note is that every room is different. We stayed in four different Standard Twin Rooms over the course of our two stays, and each size and layout was different. One was huge while another was tiny. I've attached photos of two rooms. On our first stay, they collected 20,000 tugriks deposit per room card which they returned to us at check out. But they didn't collect it the second time. Submitting this review twice as we stayed twice."
Ulaanbaatar Boutique hotel ★★★★
"Great location! This is my go-to 5-star hotel every time I'm on a business trip. It offers excellent value for money, and I was very satisfied with my stay for business. I highly recommend it for future business trips next year!"
Ayanchin Hotel
"The hotel is almost in the city center with its own parking, and there are shops nearby, making it a very convenient location. It's also quite affordable."
Chinggis Khaan Hotel Ulaanbaatar ★★★★
"Not bad. Just sometimes the housekeeper forgets to provide me a water."
The Blue Sky Hotel and Tower ★★★★★
"The lounge bar on the upper floor is quite dated. However, the room was spacious and the bathroom was luxurious. I think the hotel should promote their Japanese-style onsen more as we did not expect this and it was amazing. We also used the indoor pool and we had the whole pool to ourselves."
Blue Spot Resort ★★★★
"Accommodation and food is of a high standard, but building work going on for 24 hours which meant a bad nights sleep unfortunately."
UBPOD-The First of Capsule Hotel in Mongolia ★★
"I stayed here briefly as a stopover, as there was a gap between my arrival in the country and checking into my next accommodation, and I also wanted to gather some information. Perhaps due to the time of year or my schedule, I didn't see any Koreans during my stay, but I did notice three Japanese guests and a few other international travelers. With a CU convenience store to the right, a GS25 to the left, and a Korean market and restaurant across the street, the location is quite convenient and accessible. You take the elevator to the 5th floor, and then need to walk up one more flight of stairs. Upon entering, you're expected to change into indoor slippers on the right side of the entrance, which isn't immediately obvious and could use clearer signage or instructions. I later discovered that there's a sauna and shower facility located to the left of the entrance. Breakfast is offered, but it's very much tailored to local tastes, which caught me a bit off guard. The reception staff are proficient in English and Japanese, though their Korean skills were somewhat limited. It's fine for a short-term stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for an extended trip or if you have a packed itinerary. However, if you're keen to interact with Japanese travelers, it could be a worthwhile choice. Smoking requires guests to go down to the first floor, which can be a minor inconvenience. On the plus side, having a bank on the first floor was very convenient."
Amar Hotel Ulaanbaatar live ★★★★
"Excellent value for money: Many guests praise the reasonable room rates, especially considering the location and facilities (and the cost of living in Mongolia). Clean facilities: The rooms and bathrooms have either been recently renovated or are well-maintained, consistently described as clean and modern. Breakfast: While the complimentary breakfast buffet doesn't offer an enormous variety, guests find the taste and selection to be good."
Bojon Hotel Ulaanbaatar - Soyolj Mall ★★★★
"The hotel's overall environment is indeed excellent; it's clean, tidy, and well-equipped, though the lack of breakfast service might affect some guests' experience. However, both the staff's service attitude and the room comfort are commendable. If the hotel could add breakfast service in the future, I believe it would attract even more guests. Overall, this hotel is still worth recommending, and I look forward to seeing it improve further."

Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel
"The facilities are clean and decent, and the location is good too."
Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace Ulaanbaatar
"Comfortable , clean and peaceful estate. Very friendly staff eager to help. Sakura Japanese restaurant is average food quality, over priced and poorly staff. Massage service is also average as Mongolia is newly introduced to this service."
Ayan Zalaat Hotel and SPA
"A wonderful stay at Ayan Zalaat Hotel. Although it is a bit far from the city center, the location is surrounded by beautiful nature and peaceful scenery. The hotel is luxurious, clean, and very comfortable. The fresh air and quiet atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax and escape the busy city life. Highly recommended!"
The Corporate Hotel and Convention Centre
"Arrived to be told the swimming pool and sauna were not working, and would not be working for another month, despite requesting confirmation in advance that both were open. Stay was for 6 nights, and on two of those nights the room was not serviced at all. Awful smell in the room bathroom, which nobody could fix. When we left, the person at reception was asked to source us a taxi to the railway station , and he instead told the driver (who spoke no English) to take us to the airport. This almost caused us to miss our train resulting in considerable stress. Frankly this dump should not be recommended."
Flower Hotel Ulaanbaatar
"The rooms were retro-styled, the facilities were complete, the service was good, and there were several types of restaurants. It was a pleasant stay."
Urban Nomads Hostel and Tours
"Fantastic location and very personable manager owner-so responsive and hands on. Unsure if the listing mentioned breakfast was included-but hot beverages and some bread was available in the morning Minutes walk from Sukhbataar Square"
Grand Hill Hotel Ulaanbaatar
"GOOD!!"
Springs Hotel Ulaanbaatar
"Good location, just a five minute walk from the main square, and near there a couple of the most important museums. The main post office is there too. In the other direction is the Shangri-La shopping centre also nearby, with eateries upstairs. The hotel is a little old fashioned perhaps, but comfortable. For a westerner like myself the breakfast was quite satisfactory, with fruit, cereal, toast and jam available. The girls at reception spoke good English and were helpful."
TTI Hotel in Ulaanbaatar
"Place was pretty clean, location was about a 10-20minute drive from town."
Nomado Boutique Hotel
"It was a nice stay in Nomado Hotel, the staff were so nice and helped us with our luggages when we arrived. Anna was very nice to bring us wine to enjoy. The reception was super amazing as well. Thanks a lot for giving us a good stop before going ro the airport."
Atlas Hotel Ulaanbaatar
"good!"
Aurora Hotel Ulaanbaatar
"We booked for one night with breakfast. At check-in, we explained to the reception that we would be checking out before breakfast and asked them to pack it for us to take away. They said 'okay.' In the end, no breakfast was prepared for us in the morning, and they claimed they didn't remember our request. Basically, they decided to save money on us. We ended up checking out angry and hungry. The room was clean, BUT the toilet/bathroom door was framed with a mirrored panel, allowing you to see everything happening in the bathroom through the reflection. This detail seems to be specifically designed for some fetishists. There's no door in the shower, so water just flows onto the floor and splashes everywhere."
