Chinggis Khaan Hotel Ulaanbaatar
"Had a good stay n felt comfortable. It's good value for money. The name of the hotel alr makes it great staying there."
UBPOD-The First of Capsule Hotel in Mongolia
"Overall, the communication was decent, and the stay was mostly good. However, there were a couple of issues with the reception team. I arrived at 1:30am after my flight landed around midnight. The receptionist seemed quite upset and told me I should have emailed them in advance about the late check-in. I disagree — even if a guest arrives at 3am, it’s part of their job to welcome them properly. During the stay, everything else went smoothly. The amenities were surprisingly good for a capsule hotel, and the place was clean and well-maintained. The only other issue was when checking out — another receptionist misunderstood what I said and created unnecessary drama. They later apologised and explained it was due to very long shifts and lack of sleep. I don’t blame the girls personally; this seems like a management issue. They only have two receptionists working 48-hour shifts. Hiring one more person and switching to 24:48 shifts would make a big difference for everyone. Given the very cheap price, you can’t expect perfection, but some tourists still expect way too much. That’s on them. Anyway, good luck with your future business!"
H9 Hotel Nine Ulaanbaatar
"I really liked that the living room and bedroom were separate. The bathroom was also incredibly clean, and I could tell the whole place was very well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious too."
Urban Nomads Hostel and Tours
"The owner is very cheerful and friendly, and will even recommend tours and tourist spots! The location is right next to the town square, and there are delicious local restaurants nearby. The room was clean and had a very homey atmosphere! There was no shampoo or soap, so you'll need to use your own!"
DONI SUITE HOTEL
"The room, including the bedroom, is about 60 square meters, which feels very spacious. Ulaanbaatar can be expensive, so it's great that I could cook in the hotel; all the basic amenities were there. Plus, there's a Chinese restaurant downstairs that's quite affordable. I've stayed here for 10 days and am checking out today. In one word: amazing!"
TTI Hotel in Ulaanbaatar
"Stayed here for two days with my family. The room was clean and was serviced daily. Every day, they provided new sets of slippers and toothbrushes. The reception staff were pleasant and very helpful young people. It's great that they have parking."
Atlas Hotel Ulaanbaatar
Ulaanbaatar Boutique hotel
"This is a five-star hotel here in the city centre the only good thing is the location. However, when we checked in the hotel looks like under construction. The corridor has no carpet, then they did a bit of work during 10pm and a bit of daily. So, our room floor was very dusty. We booked deluxe room but not as ok as standard room. 1. First two nights no hot water 2. Shower pressure was very weak. 3. Bathroom curtain was not fixed. Shower door cannot be closed completely so water run out 4. Refrigerator was on the floor not in its cabinet. 5. Daily, this five stars hotel offers 2 small bottles of water if you need extra you need to pay. 6. Very limited selection of breakfast as a five stars hotel. This hotel needs a lot of improvements! After two days of requesting for fixing our shower and small issues, I decided to call trip.com team and appreciate their support."

The Blue Sky Hotel and Tower
"Disappointing. Sun screens did not stay up, hole in floor provisionally covered, dated room, no modern sockets, very small TV (camping style) Breakfast was average. Bread/pastry section not fresh (except the waffles), no coffee machine but percolator coffee Pool was cold and looked miserable, spa needs renovation."
Shangri-La Ulaanbaatar
"Pretty good, booked a suite for 4 days. Will definitely come back next time."
Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace Ulaanbaatar
"Great overnight stay. All facilities/amenities are 5 star standard. City centre is walking distance. Fairly priced restaurant with quality food. Very polite and helpful staff."
Khubilai Hotel Ulaanbaatar
"Very good"
The Corporate Hotel and Convention Centre
"I arrived into the hotel very late (almost 1am) due to the road journey from another city. Once I get into the room, a gush of cold air blew into me and I realised that the window was open and the temperature was 7 degree celcius. Tried to turn on the heater but it seems to be NOT WORKING. But was lucky to have a good blanket to keep me warm through the night. Took a shower and realised that there wasn’t a bath towel provided to the room. SUPER disappointed. Instead, used the bathrobe to dry myself. Didn’t bother to contact the front desk as I was super tired from a long trip before arrival to the hotel."
Juulchin Terelj Resort
"Nice and brand new hotel Terelj National Park. Rooms are comfortable but the toilets are a little weird as the shower heads are fixed and there is no where to put your amenities when you are showering. But otherwise, can’t complain and the stay was comfortable."
Ayan Zalaat Hotel and SPA
"My stay at Ayan Zalaat was outstanding in every way. The hotel offers a perfect balance of comfort, elegance, and professionalism. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very well designed, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment. The staff truly set this hotel apart — courteous, attentive, and consistently professional. Every request was handled promptly and with genuine care, which made the experience feel both seamless and welcoming. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is refined yet comfortable, making it ideal for both business and leisure stays. The location is convenient, and the service quality reflects a very high standard. I highly recommend Ayan Zalaat and would absolutely choose to stay here again. An excellent hotel that exceeds expectations."
Flower Hotel Ulaanbaatar
"Great location, friendly staff"
Grand Hill Hotel Ulaanbaatar
"The room was very comfortable and clean, and the surrounding area offered convenient living and transportation."
Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel
"The hotel's location is super central; it's a 10-minute walk to landmarks like the Blue Sky Hotel, the National University of Mongolia, and the GOBI cashmere store. It's about 50 km from the airport, but it took us 2.5 hours to get there due to heavy traffic. When I asked why, I learned a few things: firstly, used cars are incredibly cheap to import into Mongolia, with no tariffs, and you'll see both left and right-hand drive vehicles, leading to a huge number of car purchases. Secondly, the city's road planning is inadequate; the roads are already narrow, parking is unregulated, and there are no subways or ring roads to ease congestion. Thirdly, while Mongolia has a population of 3.5 million and a land area of 1.56 million square kilometers, averaging only two people per square kilometer, the vastness of the country means households own 1.5-2 cars on average. The breakfast was good; I especially liked the yogurt and cereal, and the dining environment was elegant and comfortable. The staff were all very professional. Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel. I did have two minor complaints: 1. I couldn't find an electrical outlet near the bed for charging. 2. The sink was a bit too low, requiring me to constantly bend over, which was a bit hard on my back."
Novotel Ulaanbaatar
"Parking is very complicating! There is big parking space but each time charging additionally even you stay at the hotel and workers are so slow and doesn’t know about what they are doing."
Blue Spot Resort
"Were here with friends nice settings stayed in Ger, nice breakfast view some greenery around. Had good time in UB. Nice dine too"
Aurora Hotel Ulaanbaatar
"The hotel was great, can heartily recommend it! The breakfast was very tasty, the room was spacious and super comfortable, the gym and the sauna were both excellent! We also had lunch there twice and were delighted! Only minor issue was that the sauna came with an extra charge and we weren’t informed about it."
naranbulag
"Clean and good service. Not too far from city downtown. Highly recommended."
