UB Grand Hotel

Had a good stay here! It's conveniently located close to Sukhbaatar Square. The room was clean and tidy. Facilities were standard but well-equipped, and I especially appreciated the mini-fridge! The environment was quiet despite being in a busy area. The front desk staff, especially the lady, was very helpful and patiently answered all my questions.

Great location and value for money for business trips.

It is close to Skhbaatar Square and has a great view because it is on a high floor! The overall service was also very good!!

Pros: 1. Great location. Close to major business centers and attractions. 2. Breakfast is included. It's simple, nothing fancy, but you won't go hungry. And it's nice that it's not a separate line item on your bill. Cons: 1. No proper air conditioning. The room has a fan and a separate nightstand air conditioner, which doesn't exhaust the warm air. 2. Cockroaches!!! They're small, but it's still unpleasant when they're crawling on the bed and ceiling right above you. Every evening, I found up to five cockroaches in my field of vision. And they were definitely cockroaches, not flies or bugs.

The location was excellent. The staff were helpful and maintained a good distance, which was great. Regarding the shower, only hot water came out for several minutes, and the water pressure was low, which was a bit of a struggle. I suppose it's unavoidable because the facilities are old, but it was a negative point. I was satisfied because the price was cheap.

The room was better than I expected, and more than enough for one person. The window overlooked Sukhbaatar Square, and the carpet inside was very clean and had a distinct Mongolian feel. Drinking water, coffee, and all necessary toiletries were provided. The only slight drawback was that the heating didn't seem very strong, but everything else was perfect. Transportation was convenient, and there were several convenience stores downstairs.
