Hotels in Hauptbahnhof, Munich

The room was relatively spacious. This hotel is only a few hundred meters from the train station, so I booked it to catch an early train the next day. There were quite a few homeless people around at night, which felt a bit unsafe, but otherwise, everything was fine.

This hotel boasts excellent transport links, being super close to HBF Central Station and right next to DM. I booked a day tour and found that many tour buses depart from a hotel just over 100 meters away, making it very convenient for catching those day trip coaches. The hotel lobby offers complimentary fruit daily; I grabbed an apple every day, along with some candies. The rooms don't have bathtubs, and the beds are quite small, with two beds basically pushed together. The mattress firmness was just right, and the pillow height suited me well. There's a Nespresso capsule coffee machine with 8 capsules, replenished daily, and six tea bags, which is nice – I particularly enjoyed the ginger tea. The environment is clean and hygienic, and they provide shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and body lotion. This was a pleasant surprise, especially after staying in Nuremberg later and finding no facial tissues there! The sound insulation of the windows is decent; while it gets quite noisy when open due to the electric trains right by the station, the train sounds at night didn't bother me or affect my sleep. I must say, the breakfast is excellent, with a fantastic variety and delicious options. However, when I arrived at the hotel around 8 AM, the front desk informed me that early check-in, usually after 3 or 4 PM in European hotels, would cost dozens of euros. I figured the price was acceptable, so I checked in early. But then, at my next hotel in Nuremberg, I arrived at 12 PM and was allowed to check in without any extra charge when I asked if early check-in was possible. So, it's not really comparable! The hotel offers free Wi-Fi with good speed. They also provide a complimentary bottle of mineral water daily, which is a great perk as water in Europe can be quite expensive, around 20 RMB per bottle.

The location was great, about a 3-minute walk from Munich Central Station. The room wasn't exactly sparkling clean, but it was fine for just sleeping. There was enough space to open two suitcases. Since I stayed on a weekend, it could get noisy outside even after midnight. What I liked was that they accommodated my request for a room with a bathtub when I booked, and the takeout kebab right next to the hotel was delicious.

This hotel has a great location right next to the main train station. It has a self check in concept and there is no staff at reception. But they do send all the check in details over email including door code for the main entrance and your room. That makes it very convenient. Rooms are on the smaller side but you get what you pay for. Cleanliness is decent and the only staff you see are the cleaning staff. There are many restaurants in the neighbourhood, so eating out was very easy too. Overall, a decent stay. Very satisfied

The hotel is a convenient 8-10 minute walk from the train station. The area around the hotel is predominantly populated by residents and businesses that do not speak German. While there are several supermarkets nearby, none of the small shops sell water. The only option is a 1.5-liter bottle of 'mineral water' for a steep 2.50 Euros. Munich has very hard water, so much so that boiling a pot of water leaves a noticeable amount of limescale. The hotel does not offer luggage storage services. The double bed, measuring 1.3 meters, was fitted with two 1.5-meter mattresses, which easily slipped off. I wonder who came up with this makeshift arrangement? On the upside, the price was very reasonable.

Check-in was incredibly smooth. We arrived at noon and didn't have to wait until the usual 3 PM check-in time. They just scanned our passports and we were good to go. What really stood out was the crib they provided, complete with a tiny pillow and blanket – our baby absolutely loved it! The hotel's surroundings are great, with plenty of amenities, and it's only a five-minute walk from the train station. We'll definitely be staying here again next time we're in Munich.

The front desk staff were quite unwelcoming. At one point, it felt like I was being ignored, as they seemed to avoid acknowledging me when I approached. There was also an issue with a missing extra bed in the room upon arrival. However, I appreciate that this was resolved quickly once I brought it to their attention. Another concern was with housekeeping. They entered the room at around 9:00 AM while I was still inside, which was uncomfortable and felt like a lack of privacy. The best thing is very close to the train station.

It's a pretty nice hotel. It's close to the central station and easy to get to. Compared to other cities, the reception is also friendly. However, the noise from the nearby rooms is quite loud, which can be quite stressful. Also, when I was taking a shower, the water got cold, and I thought I would freeze in the cold.

We stayed at Eurostars Book Hotel Munich for 4 days and 3 nights. Our experience started well, as our room was ready when we arrived. A special thank you to Sebastian at the front desk, who was warm, welcoming, and friendly. He made the check-in process smooth and left a great first impression. The room was comfortable, clean, and equipped with the basic amenities we needed for our stay. One thing we noticed, however, was that complimentary bottled water was not provided in the room. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options each morning. A special mention goes to Isabelle and Ronnie, who were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality and attentiveness made our breakfast experience even more enjoyable. In terms of location, the hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the nearest train station. It’s not particularly close, but it’s still manageable. The only downside for us was the surrounding area. There are quite a few bars and ******** venues nearby, and the atmosphere didn’t always feel comfortable, especially in the evenings. We occasionally felt a little uneasy walking around the area. Overall, we had a pleasant stay thanks to the comfortable room, friendly staff, and good breakfast. However, the surrounding area may not be ideal for families or travellers who prefer a quieter and more comfortable environment.

We like the welcome drinks and good atmosphere for youth. There is lift to every floor including street level to ground floor. The 4You Hostel is behind us towards the right. There is bicycle rental nearby which we may use if it was not snowing. Usual hostel with shared bathroom. We had good warm shower.
