Munich Hotels with Balcony

This hotel boasts excellent transport links, being super close to HBF Central Station and right next to DM. I booked a day tour and found that many tour buses depart from a hotel just over 100 meters away, making it very convenient for catching those day trip coaches. The hotel lobby offers complimentary fruit daily; I grabbed an apple every day, along with some candies. The rooms don't have bathtubs, and the beds are quite small, with two beds basically pushed together. The mattress firmness was just right, and the pillow height suited me well. There's a Nespresso capsule coffee machine with 8 capsules, replenished daily, and six tea bags, which is nice – I particularly enjoyed the ginger tea. The environment is clean and hygienic, and they provide shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and body lotion. This was a pleasant surprise, especially after staying in Nuremberg later and finding no facial tissues there! The sound insulation of the windows is decent; while it gets quite noisy when open due to the electric trains right by the station, the train sounds at night didn't bother me or affect my sleep. I must say, the breakfast is excellent, with a fantastic variety and delicious options. However, when I arrived at the hotel around 8 AM, the front desk informed me that early check-in, usually after 3 or 4 PM in European hotels, would cost dozens of euros. I figured the price was acceptable, so I checked in early. But then, at my next hotel in Nuremberg, I arrived at 12 PM and was allowed to check in without any extra charge when I asked if early check-in was possible. So, it's not really comparable! The hotel offers free Wi-Fi with good speed. They also provide a complimentary bottle of mineral water daily, which is a great perk as water in Europe can be quite expensive, around 20 RMB per bottle.

Overall, we had a great stay at WunderLocke Munich. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transport and nearby supermarkets, making it a good base for exploring the city. The studio was modern, comfortable, and very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Having a fully equipped kitchenette and all the essential amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The only downside was that when we first checked into our room, there were quite a lot of insects inside, which was not a pleasant first impression. Fortunately, the rest of our stay was enjoyable. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for its comfortable rooms, convenient location, and excellent facilities.

I am very satisfied with my stay at Revo. The room is clean, the staffs are friendly and helpful, there are plenty of amenities, and the location is great. On the day I check in, the staff told me that the room was not ready yet, but quickly made it up to us by providing us free drinks while we waited. When we asked for extra pillows and the staff was unable to provide us that night since it was too late, she waived off the fees for another drink we were going to buy. The room we stayed in was well equiped and spacious. And the apartment/hotel had game room, workspace, meeting rooms, laundry room among many others. Right next to the hotel was a bakery, supermarket, and drug store, which is extremely convenient. The location was a little away from the city centre, but only a few steps from the metro station, so travelling wad also convenient. Overall, I really enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend this place for travellers

The room isn't huge, but it's sufficient. The bathroom and bedding were clean. They provided a complimentary bottle of water. However, the mattress dipped in the middle, which wasn't very comfortable. The location is incredibly convenient, very close to the subway station. There's a PENNY supermarket just across from the hotel's side entrance. Breakfast was mediocre. The lids on the hot food containers need repair; they wouldn't stay open. I'm quite tall, and even I had trouble closing them once opened. One day, a lid wouldn't stay open while I was serving myself, and it fell and hit my hand. It broke the skin, and seven days later, I still have a large bruise. (The restaurant supervisor gave me some medicine). The room had a balcony, which was lovely, but it seemed unused for a long time. The table and chairs were dusty, and there were even cobwebs. I wiped some of it, but stopped because my arm started to hurt. If you're a solo traveler and don't spend much time in the room, I wonder if the hotel has rooms without balconies, which might offer more interior space.

Location & Transportation: When I was planning my trip to Munich, I spent ages looking for a hotel. I initially wanted something near the train station for convenience, but then I worried about safety. Staying near the exhibition center felt a bit too far out. I stumbled upon this hotel, which was described as being in a safe residential area with a metro station right outside. Plus, I heard KK is a well-known Austrian chain. Indeed, the metro (U-Bahn) is literally right outside the hotel entrance (check the last picture). The elevator takes you directly into the station, which is super convenient. You can't buy tickets directly in the elevator area, but the ticket validation machine is right at the elevator entrance. If you need to take the S-Bahn, it's easier to use a different entrance to avoid getting lost. Getting to major attractions like Marienplatz is quick and easy from here.

Hotel teams are very kind and ready to respond to your requests. Food is perfect and delicious. Hotel is quite new and clean. Location is a bit far from Munich center but it is very convenient for traveling. Also, very clean and safe area. Hotel is far from train station just 1-2 min walk.

On a side note about the city, Munich is a lovely city overall. There aren't many Chinese residents, it's quiet and pleasant, and the climate is comfortable, making it perfect for a summer trip. The most striking impression I had during this trip was how arrogant the restaurant manager was, acting superior and exhibiting that inherent European sense of superiority. It's clear he's never set foot in China and doesn't realize that our facilities are now incredibly well-developed and advanced. It's precisely because of our strong motherland that Chinese people have increasing purchasing power. I've studied and worked abroad, but now I live in China long-term. This comparison fills me with immense national pride. It's through the country's strong leadership and the diligent efforts of all its people that China has achieved such rapid development and overtaken others. I sincerely wish our motherland continued prosperity and strength.

Check-in was at 3 PM, but we couldn't get into our room until 4:20 PM because they weren't finished cleaning. As an apology, we received free breakfast, but the room wasn't actually clean. The shower was heavily covered in limescale, and we had to dust off the fan before we could even turn it on.

Condor Hotel is a very convenient property that I tend to visit often during my stays in Munich. Even though it is situated as a 3-Stars hotel, I find it to actually tend more toward a 4-Stars standard. The hotel is located in a very convenient proximity to the Munich central train station (Hauptbahnhof), making it easily accessible for me upon my arrival to the city. The check-in process is always smooth and efficient, as it was this time as well. The team is always nice and helpful. The rooms are a highlight, and even though they are not large - the rooms do combine modern design trends with a classic touch. They are immaculately maintained, featuring spotless bathrooms with powerful showers and beds that ensure a comfortable night's sleep. Daily housekeeping keeps everything pristine, and the overall service is attentive. Considering the prime location and high quality of the facilities, the Condor Hotel provides exceptional value for money. It is a highly recommended choice for anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in Munich.

However, this didn't ruin my stay at all! One of the absolute highlights of this hotel is the free parking. Anyone who has traveled to Munich knows that finding parking can be a total nightmare and incredibly expensive. Having free, secure parking right at the hotel is an absolute game-changer and saved me so much money and stress!
