Hotels in Munich with Swimming Pools

Location is good, breakfast is fabulous. However, that are three points that somehow affect my satisfaction towards the hotel. 1. The television automatically turns on during the midnight, which prevents me from having a good sleep. It turns on for 2-3 times at around 1am 2am and 4am which i found disturbing and kind of scary 2. The room cleaning guy threw my own face towel away….thought my face towel is white and quite similar to the hotel one…. 3. The hotel has hold up 296 euros from my card, didnt know if this is the deposit or not, but i have prepaid my hotel money and the deposit seems more than the ones i have stayed before Overall the hotel is gorgeous

Stayed here with my family (2 sons, 11 and 13.) The hotel was very kid friendly- my kids were greeted and they had a play area (with a video game) and a few games for the room. The location was great- about a 5 min walk to the Deutsches Museum and about 15 walk to Marienplatz, but seemed to be off the beaten tourist path. The area felt very safe, and there was a small mall next door that had 2 grocery stores in it (great for simple meals!). It also had a subway stop (Rosenheimer Platz), where all the main lines stopped. The room itself was great. My kids enjoyed the free minibar (but I was told this was being discontinued.) The pool was nice- the kids loved it! It is smaller than it looks in the pictures and was too cold for me. The bathroom was nice- the toilet is separate from the shower/sink/tub area. The sink area had the best lighting of any hotel bathroom I've ever stayed in. Plenty of hot water, and my kids were amused that there was a TV speaker in the shower area. If we return to Munich, we would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is beautiful. It is set right beside the English garden. Simply gorgeous. It is a little bit far from the main attractions of town. For example, Marion plots, and the glockenspiel. However, that simple taxi ride will get you there. The lobby is grand, and the staff is quite attentive. However, this is where we need to talk about the missing details. Some of the night staff did not speak almost any English. This made communicating quite difficult. I had this crazy experience of trying to get some ice cream for room service at around 1030 at night. Depending on who we spoke to, you could or could not get anything at that time. This is where two employees actually try to help me and go above. Anisa and Said. We finally got the ice cream. The chocolate ice cream was absolutely delicious. More details… All the hotels are strongly, encouraging guests to save water by reusing towels. I completely agree with this initiative. But if that’s the case, why couldn’t they give us a few more simple hooks in the bathroom? Another detail for hotel: shower temperature control is a mess after flushing toilet! Ouch. Breakfast area is very good. Good selection of food. Staff great. Very attentive. I would suggest longer shields in front of the food since everyone is sneezing everywhere. Another annoying detail - give water out for free! If we’re paying so much for the hotel, then the water should be free. As it is right now, you are charging almost 4 euros for one small bottle of water. That’s a rip off. I’m sure most of the clientele can afford the water bottle, but this really is a rip off. The going rate is actually about one or maybe two Euros . Don’t disrespect us with such ridiculous charges. Anyway, highly recommend this place. Would stay here again.

The hotel is at the opposite of the main train HBF but depends with entrance you come out. We blessed that the breakfast provides Prosecco on Sat & Sun free flow from 6-11am. And of course wide spread of breakfast, mainly bread. We enjoyed our stay

We are here now. Reserved 2 rooms to accommodate 4 people, one for 3 adults, the other for 1 adult. They brought us a roll away bed for the 3rd adult and when I asked the front desk, they said they had no rooms to accommodate 3 adults with 3 proper beds. (Then why offer it as an option?). We were offered to move to a larger room, for the larger price, but would still only get the roll away bed for the 3rd adult. Accommodations…..incredibly dissatisfied. Especially for a 5 star hotel. We were ignored, not exaggerating, when we pulled up with our vehicle. While trying to parallel park to unload, 2 employees stood joking around. A colleague stopped what he was doing, interrupted them, and all but got in their face to tell them to help us! At this point I was pissed! And mind you, i was outside of the car and they had no idea i was with the car……so i was witness to it all. They were kissing the feet of the others (who were not wearing sweat pants) and legitimately IGNORED us. I was PISSED. Not because I’m stuck on myself, but because it’s so true. If you don’t LOOK a certain way, especially at this 5 star hotel, YOU WILL BE IGNORED. Don’t hate on me for my honest review. Just know that if TRUE luxury is what you’re seeking, no matter what you look like or what you drive, you may have better luck down the road. It’s not here. Best of luck and let’s hope I’m one of the few who has had to experience this.

We stayed here 2 nights, from June 12 to 14 .This hotel is perfectly located just steps from Munich Central Station, with an overall modern look and concept. All 4 of us(two adults, two teenagers) checked in after 11pm; the front desk looked tired, but so were we. There are two elevators leading to the rooms and both are fit enough for more than 4 people. We had two rooms right next to each other: Room 445(two twin beds), and Room 447(one double bed). Both rooms were spacious and clean, and beds were comfortable. WI-FI connection was great. Bathroom was huge given European standards, water temperature was perfect for both hot and cold fans. AC temperature was perfect. We had a peaceful sleep and the morning after we went downstairs for a magnificent breakfast: water, coffee, tea, juices, hot chocolate, pancakes, scrambled eggs, croissants, assorted cheese, assorted bread, fruits, are only about a third part of the breakfast items. Pretty close to dining places(walking distance) but somewhat far from historical places, check-out was a breeze, would stay here again

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in! Don't let the photos, high stars and several good reviews trick you, like they tricked my husband and I. Initially when we booked our room we expected a spacious and clean 1 + 1 room with a living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. But when we were at the reception, one of the staff members explained to us that we had gotten a completely different room because ”they don't give out rooms based on pictures” but rather instead have their own system of stages or levels and you don't even know which exact room you get when booking. They claim the one we booked was a tiny room that could barely fit my family of four and several luggages (we had been traveling overseas for a month).There wasn't even any space to walk between the beds or between the luggages, and I'm not exaggerating when I say I couldn't even close the door because our room was so small. The bathroom was infested with bugs on the ceiling and walls, the whole place smelled of obnoxiously strong perfume to mask the disgusting odor of meat previously cooked in the kitchen and throughout the whole ”stage”, and most bothersome of all, neither my family and I nor our luggages could fit in our small room. After explaining that we wouldn't be able to spend almost a week in this room, I spent over an hour trying to convince the people working at the reception to either give us our originally booked room or refund our money back and they said they couldn't do EITHER of them because the hotel was fully booked and since we paid online it wouldn't have been possible to give us our money back. What a scam! After a while of arguing, they finally agreed to let us stay one night in the room we paid for in the first place and refunded the rest of the money to us. My husband and I spent the rest of our day searching for a new hotel during the busiest time in Munich when every hotel was fully booked for the next few days. (In case you were wondering, we were able to find one that we loved for the rest of our vacation.) If our troubles only stopped there I wasn't going to take my time to write this review, but unfortunately the hotel staff and management had to disappoint me once again! The breakfast was not very good and the food was minimal, but more than that I felt like we were in the middle of a forest full of bees and flies, both outdoors and indoors. Not just one, but more than enough to prevent us from eating in peace. My kids kept screaming, and the jars of jam were full of bees. I informed a staff member and she brought back another jar in 5 minutes and I got some jam in time before it would be full of those bees again. If the doors of the hotel hadn't been open the whole time for them to come inside we wouldn't have had this problem. To make matters worse, my eldest daughter had been feeling sick for a few days and started feeling worse that morning, so her dad took her to get medical treatment leaving only me and my 8 year old daughter behind. We stayed at the Adina for 4 nights in a studio with a sofa bed. We loved having the washer/dryer and oven/microwave in the room. We were able to keep up with our laundry which really helped on our trip. We were able to walk to get groceries, although there isn't a store real close. With the sofa bed out the room is a bit tight, but it was nice to have the table and booth seating. We had a Frauenkirche view room on the 22nd floor and the views of the city and sunsets were amazing. We stayed Monday through Friday, and the first three nights were great. Thursday night the music at the bars below us in Werksviertel Mitte was really loud and lasted until 2am, so we didn't get much sleep. Even though we were near the Ost train station, we felt a bit isolated. In retrospect we wished we would have chosen a hotel closer to the Altstadt.

Total score 8/10 Would recommend to stay again Room: Very stylish and functional. Nice touches and quality throughout. Bed was very comfy with good quality linens. Nice plug sockets but no direct usb for a newish hotel. Bring a travel plug. Only downside which was slightly annoying the room features advertised are not present. We were missing the sound system stated on website. Our original room had some stains, possibly blood or dark red nail polish on bedding. Upon informing staff nect morning we were upgraded for rest of stay. This was a nice gesture. The room has coffee machine but no tea facilities. We did ask in the night and were told it was not possible. However then next day a kettle was sent to the room. Bathroom: Perfect. Good shower and amazing bath. Really nice products. Restaurant Izayka was really very very good. V cool vibe. Music in the background. The food was outstanding and reminded me of a trip to Japan. The robata grilled chicken was outstanding. I felt the quality and delivery to be on par with Nobu and Hakkasan (london) Service Few blips here and there but overall. Staff were polite and helpful. Pool and spa Visually stunning and very nice. Overall a great stay in Munich and shall be recommending to friends and family.

Hotel location is good, opposite the door is the botanical garden, there are children playing. Behind a small park is the Technical University of Munich, which is very large and beautiful and fully open. A few hundred meters from the hotel is Karlsplatz, and a short walk away is Maria Square, convenient for shopping.
