- Hotel is within walking distance from Sakae Station
- Room is clean and spacious. Really appreciate the kid-friendly decor. Kids were really excited by it. Many thoughtful considerations such as having torches, a coffee machine and free amenities when requested at the front desk.
- Service was impeccable. Miss Kawano was patient and helpful when helping me and my family settle into the hotel.
Cons
- Some suspicious-looking males hanging around the area at night. The area has a few host clubs and bars, so it may look dangerous to roam at night. My wife didn't feel safe to go on the streets at night, though I personally did not encounter any issues when I did.

After I checked into room 1517, lots of strange things happened. It made me feel very sick and items in the room moved and my phone constantly dropped from the flat desk. I literally vomited over 10 times the moment I stepped into that room.
Anyway contacted trip.com and they couldn’t do anything to help. Was pretty disappointed with trip.com as I am already a diamond member and was held on the line for over 30min for literally nothing. The hotline staff kept telling me Japanese speaking staff not available and no progress.
Fortunately I called front desk and at first they told me they would charge me $63800 yen for a switch of room, then they sent someone up to the room and agreed to switch me to another room for free after they noticed the problem. New room with the view of the TV tower and everything was fine. Location is great but wouldn’t stay there again personally.

Although it’s a three-star hotel, it is a great hotel for one to three people to stay in. The hotel is nice and quiet, most rooms come with free breakfast buffet coupons (which are limited but still nice enough) and the beds are quite big. The wifi works quite well and the rooms are big enough for three. I’m not sure if there are conjoining rooms, but it they will be recommended for families of four and above. There aren’t many guests in the hotel, and most of them are businessmen.
The hotel is also at a convenient location—there is Lawson in front of it, a 7-11 behind it and a Family Mart northeast of it(across the street). It is a short walk of 3min away from JR Nagoya Stn.
Some bad things about the hotel are that the TV’s programs are all in Japanese, and even the CNN is translated into Japanese, so I recommend you use your phones or tablets to watch the shows you like. There also isn’t a window and the aircon is quite weak, so it gets stuffy sometimes. However, apart from that, it is quite an enjoyable stay!!

Would have given all 5 stars if not for the noise from the trains. Nonetheless I do recommend for those who are not sensitive to noise to stay at the hotel. The noise is quite bearable and it was surprisingly therapeutic to watch Shinkansen and local trains from my floor (level 23). The location is prime as it is just above Takashimaya, Uniqlo, GU, and close to JR station, subway and AirPort Express. I opted for breakfast and enjoyed the variety it offered. Not forgetting they allowed to deposit my luggage for 3 nights ahead of my stay. Love their flexibility!

If you’re tired of small hotel rooms in Japan where you can barely open your luggage, this hotel is a fantastic choice. We stayed in a standard room and had no trouble opening two 26” suitcases comfortably.
The parking fee is reasonable compared to other five-star hotels (1,800 yen per entry), and the parking spaces are spacious enough for a 4WD—very convenient!
The hotel’s ambiance embraces a beautiful Japanese Zen style, and you’ll feel it the moment you step inside. The view of Nagoya city is stunning, and the location is perfect—right across from various shopping malls and close to all the famous attractions.

Stayed 1 night with mum and dad. Location was perfect to the bullet train about 10mins away but feels quicker because there is an underground passage from station all the way to hotel.
Hotel room had really nice touches like the bed was very comfortable and acoustics insulation I can tell had been considered.
Modern and clean surroundings and room. No complaints. Also incredible view.
They also have a spa - not much to shout about but nice bonus.
Also they have the modern laundry all in one washer and dryer with digital lock - but only two - nice and appropriated.
Thanks for the nice stay between Tokyo and Osaka. Nagoya has amazing eel rice and chill vibes.

A pretty new hotel, real nice rooms the front portion near the door of the room is tatami, the size is really decent for Japanese chains. Theres an information map in the lobby that shows whats nearby and all the recommendations. The staff are really professional as well. Only drawback is that the hot spring is really tiny, but its better than not having one.
The subway station is only a 2 min walk away from the hotel. Nagoya is one of the best places to get used luxury products and the 2nd hand brands like KOMEHYO had large buildings here.

This was part of our mid-way point of our Japan taster city breaks. Hotels are a vital part of city breaks. The Meitetsu Grand Hotel is finely and centrally located right next to Nagoya Station.
They offered a smoking room with a view on the 14th floor to die for. The room offers great amenities, including coffee making, a fridge chiller and wholesome bathroom accessories. There’s ice making machine, filtered mineral water and a Y500 laundry service on the same floor.
Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay. However, the breakfast was an additional fee with a huge selection of hot and cold buffet.
Absolutely love this stay and I fully recommend it to future travellers.

On my first day at the hotel, I decided to brave the 10-minute walk from Fushimi Station with my luggage. However, under the scorching summer sun, that seemingly short distance felt like an eternity. It was just too far! But here’s the twist: later on, we stumbled upon a bus route that conveniently connected the hotel directly to Nagoya Station. My advice to fellow travelers? Definitely explore the bus option—it can save you both time and sweat!
As for the hotel itself, the check-in and check-out process was a breeze. The staff members were friendly and efficient. Our room boasted a good view, and it was spacious and tidy—a great fit for families.

LLee Chor Sang HelenWe booked a room for 3. The room is nice, clean and spacious. There is a small kitchen where we can make coffee or simple food. There is also a washing machine available. Enough USB for use. The staff there are polite, friendly and helpful. But there is no reception staff after 10 pm. We need a passcode to enter into the hotel after 10 pm. We tried once but not working well. There is no other facility like Spa or Gym in the hotel. The location is near to shopping street in OSU, a few minutes’s walk . But not near to Sakae. Overall, a good and quiet place to stay.

Instead of offering to replace free of charge they gave me free rental. Would have been nice to completely replace and this would have secured excellent rating. Other than that staff super friendly and nice.

As a passionate fan of all things Lego, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to stay at the Nagoya Legoland Hotel during my recent visit to the city. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was immersed in a world of whimsy and wonder.
The hotel's proximity to the Legoland theme park was a major draw, allowing me to easily explore the attractions and then retreat to the comfort of my accommodations. But what truly set this hotel apart was the abundance of local playing areas within the premises.
The staff at the Nagoya Legoland Hotel were simply superb. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the attentive service throughout my stay, every interaction left me feeling valued and well-cared for. Their enthusiasm and genuine passion for ensuring guests have a memorable experience was truly commendable.

GGuest UserWe stayed a night and enjoyed this hotel. The bed was a bit small but the room and bathroom were clean. The hotel includes as part of the reservation soba noodles, ice-cream, coffee/tea, yogurt drinks, and a comic book room and onsen (which we did not use). Parking was a bit expensive at 1800yen but was effortless as it had its own car park elevator so we did not need to find a space. The only complaint is that the heater did not work.

Environment: The front desk is on the second floor, just across from Meitetsu Station. It’s a seven or eight minute walk from the subway exit U10, and the hotel is right across from it. Family Mart is on the other side, and Ichiran Ramen is next to it.

Bus terminal is also near located in Oasis 21 (2000 yen per way to the airport, around 40 minutes ride to terminal 2. Room is small but clean with bathtub and can spread two luggages. Hotel provides bath salt, body sponge, cotton swab, slippers, hair dryer, toothbrush, razor, shaving cream, bath soap, shampoo and conditioner, hand and face foam, facial care kit, coffee, tea. Replenishes towels even you don't want to be disturbed for daily cleaning up of rooms. Reasonable budget. Will book again next time.

GGuest UserI'm a local and I stayed this hotel because I had a meeting with my close friend at a restaurant near here. I didn't want to go back home in the midnight by taxi.
The location is good enough, close to Chikusa station. You can arrive at the entrance through the underground pass from the station.
The facilities are good, but not new, not super excellent.
To stay here one or two nights for a business might be fine, but I do not recommend you for tourism.
Good enough as a business hotel.
