Hotels Near Donghua Lake in Nanjing

The room is clean and tidy overall. Staying in the VIP building is very quiet. The hotel has a good location and is very convenient to get to the subway. It is not far from the Second History Museum and the Museum. It is very cost-effective and you can rest assured to stay here!

Great location just south of Xianmen station. Quite tired looking from the outside but improves drastically upon approaching the lobby. The property is aged but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Bed is super soft, big desk and chair, couch is sturdy and the cup disinfector is a nice touch. Wifi speed is about 20 megs per second and there are tons of TV channels. Buffet breakfast had many options. Robot butlers on standby. Love the ceiling mounted showerhead. There was a fridge but it was locked, quite pointless. Overall this is easily the best place I’ve stayed in Nanjing and recommend it.

This is a brand new hotel situated just outside the Zhongshan Mountain scenic site. It’s within a quiet neighbourhood and has natural surroundings away from the Main Street. The hotel interior is nicely renovated and the rooms are quite spacious. The hotel staff are all really accommodating and attentive. There are cafes, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance and the closest subway station is also a short walk away, making commute into the main CBD areas very convenient as well. It’s a nice and pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to travellers visiting Nanjing!

This hotel is located in the center of the city, near the 1912 district so there is a lot of restaurants, it is really convenient. In my opinion, it is also a more pleasant neighbourhood that Xinjiekou where are all the others hotels. It is a really recent hotel, so all the furnitures are new. It is really high-tech, the curtains opens automatically when you enter the room, there are some electronic buttons for a lot of things (maybe a bit too much high-tech sometimes ? you can’t leave a single light for reading in the evening when your partner is sleeping). The room is well furnished and spacious, it lacks maybe just a bit of space near the sink in the bathroom. The breakfast is really good and diverse and the staff is really nice and helpful, specially the doorman Sam. I really recommend you this hotel in Nanjing.

I came to Nanjing with my friends to eat Huaiyang cuisine. When I was staying at Zhongshan Hotel, I read the stories about Anle Hotel and Jiangsu Hotel on the table. The stories deeply moved me, so I moved to Jiangsu Hotel. The hotel's corridor is very grand and left a deep impression on me. The original site of Jiangsu Hotel was Anle Hotel (1910-1937), which was founded by Anhui wealthy businessman Huang Chenglan. It was originally named ”Anleyuan” and later renamed Anle Hotel. Mr. Sun Yat-sen once hosted a banquet for his Japanese friends here; after the Nationalist Government established its capital in Nanjing in 1927, Chiang Kai-shek, Song Ziwen and others often visited the hotel, and the hotel became an important place for high-level social interactions. After the Japanese army captured Nanjing in 1937, the Anle Hotel was destroyed. After 1949, the People's Government rebuilt it on the original site and renamed it ”Jiangsu Hotel”, continuing its tradition of serving high-end customers. This name change marks the transition from a colonial color to a localized state-owned enterprise, and also reflects the protection and reuse of cultural heritage by New China. As a representative restaurant of Jiangsu cuisine (Huaiyang cuisine), Jiangsu Hotel is famous for its ”freshness-based, fine knife skills, and emphasis on original flavor.” ”.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Not only close to Fuzimiao street and metro, but also surrounded with many restaurants and convenience stores. The room is good and clean. My family and I are especially impressed by the staffs which enthusiastically help with the checkin process. Although i cannot speak Chinese and they cannot use English, it is not the big problem for the stay this time. They also prepare the welcome snack and fruit for us. We enjoyed staying here and would recommend to everyone.

The hotel was overall okay, for the money that we paid, very decent. Although it’s quite cold in the rooms and they are very small. But despite all of that very enjoyed the stay, the staff at every nice and it’s very clean in the rooms.

It was best position for shopping centers Bed also comfortable and clean But shower room floor cleaning condition was no good,I found many hair. General condition was good

I asked the hotel to get a non-smoking room. The hotel staff was so friendly and helped me with my wish. A big plus point is that the hotel staff can speak english very well. I can only recommend to stay here at Tiafeng Hotel, especially as a foreigner. The location is great. Breakfast was amazing and the room clean and with a good smell! Location of hotel was great. Slightly off centre from the main shopping area so it’s not too noisy/ crowded. Within 5-8 mins walking distance from the mrt station and fu zi miao area. It’s located right within qin huai he scenic area. Lots of good food in the area. Hotel staff were great, would recommend as usual with any atour hotel.
