Great value for a 5-star hotel!
Rooms are spacious and decor is nice, the included buffet breakfast offers a lot of variety and is tasty.
The hotel is located right behind the Nanjing Museum, is “close” to the Ming Tombs, and is close to the Ming Koo Kung subway station which provides easy access to many sights in Nanjing.
There is even a street food bazaar right next door!
The only downside of this hotel is that it does not offer a free laundry room.

Check-in was very smooth. Although I arrived at 10 o'clock, the front desk lady Zoe helped me check in, took me to the room, and introduced the room. The service was very good, thank you very much. In particular, I specifically noted that it was non-smoking, and the lady helped me arrange ventilation in the room. The hotel has good greenery, the appearance of the room is unique, especially the palace style, the house is clean and bright, the overall feeling experience is very good, the cost performance is super high, recommended. It is just a few hundred meters away from the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. I will choose this hotel next time.

First, the hotel's location is excellent. It's close to Zhongshan East Road, a major thoroughfare in the city, but not directly on the street, offering a tranquil escape amidst the bustle. A residential community is across the alley, and transportation is convenient, with Xi'anmen Station on Metro Line 2, Exit 4, just outside. It's a perfect base for both business and leisure travelers.
Second, the surrounding amenities are excellent. Panda Plaza, across from Zhongshan East Road, has many chain restaurants on the B1 floor. The Eastern Theater Command General Hospital and the military family housing complex are also nearby.
The hotel lobby is spacious, bright, clean, and tidy, and the staff are very nice. I stayed for four nights, and although there were some minor issues, the duty manager was proactive and responsive in addressing customer concerns, leaving me generally satisfied.

The service provided by Xiao Liu at the front desk was very good. He gave me handmade cookies, which was completely amazing. The overall environment is very nice, and there are gifts. Wow, it's really thoughtful and very interesting. It's very suitable for experiencing it with your partner. It unlocks new stores. I will come back next time when I have time. The problem is handled very promptly. I like this platform Σ>―(〃°ω°〃)♡→

I stay at his house all the time on business trips. I am very satisfied with the experience. The lobby is bright and the environment is very good. The hotel is located near the subway and bus station. There is a shared bicycle bed when going out. It is very comfortable. It is very good. It is relatively hygienic and clean. The service in the hotel is very good. Hotel upgrade. I stayed in a room with a wooden floor. Parking is very convenient in a good hotel. Parking is free. The National Museum is a ten-minute walk away. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum are nearby. They ask for cash on the opposite side. It’s two bus stops away from the Xuanwu Lake subway. It's very convenient to take bus No. 80 and Zhan Road to the Presidential Palace. The decoration of the hotel is relatively high-end, the price is relatively affordable, and the price-performance ratio is quite high.
The room was very soundproofed and very quiet at night, ensuring a good sleep. The hotel also provided high-quality toiletries, with meticulous attention to detail. The room was spacious and bright, fully equipped, and the bed was so comfortable it made for a good night's sleep. Check-out was quick and easy, and the front desk staff was efficient and professional. The ladies were very nice, saving us a lot of time. The hotel is surrounded by snacks and shopping malls, making it very convenient. I'll definitely come back if I come to Nanjing again.
The couple chose this hotel because they were close to Zhongshan Scenic Area. Disadvantages, 1. Old customers with unfavorable legs and feet should not go. When entering the hotel lobby, they have to climb 8 ~ 9 steps, and they can't carry heavy luggage. 2. There are charging piles that are not allowed to be used, saying that they are internal. Since there is a charging pile on the platform, whether there is a fool, Trip.com should also be verified and then promoted to the outside world. 3. In order to save money, the hotel canceled the breakfast buffet and changed the package to the room. We are here to travel, this experience is relatively poor. This room rate is really not flattering. Here also mentioned that the hotel service attitude is positive. Under the coordination of Trip.com , the hotel solved my charging problem. Breakfast is owed to customers, indicating 38 yuan per person, the actual maximum provided is 15 yuan per person.

Hotel spot clean and service good. Only set back as follow
1. Booking through Trip.com needs credit payment in advance as usual.
2. During check need to pay in advance towards the hotel. Later Trip.com will reimburse back my credit card bank. Which makes in convenience for me, my credit card bank and trip.com.
3. Hotel does not trust customer like us. Where we need to place RMB 200 holding during stay. I don’t understand why they need RMB 200 holding during stay. What happens customer forget to collect their RMB 200. Will the hotel send back to customer if deposit was paid in cash.
That is my setback. This was our first time where hotel neeeeeds to collect payment directly from customer. My God Oh.
Warmth regards

Facilities: It can be seen that the decoration style is from the 2010s. Everything is good. The only thing is that the toilet is not very good, the water flow is slow, and it is blocked. Fortunately, the aunt and the master are very good and fixed it in two or three times. Everything else is good! Very comfortable to live!
Environment: It is a certain distance from the subway station, close to residential houses, elementary schools, and universities, and very quiet. There is a Swiss* coffee shop opposite the hotel, which is quite big. Other shops are very small and I didn't pay attention to them. Turn left when you go out and you will see the Ming City Wall. You have to wait a little longer to get a taxi in the early morning.

We checked out of the Kempinski Nanjing this morning and we were thoroughly impressed with the experience. The room was immaculate, spacious, and elegantly decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch, ensuring a restful and enjoyable stay.
The buffet breakfast and dinner were truly exceptional, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. The quality and freshness of the food were outstanding.
A special shout out to Raymond, who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable. His attentiveness and professionalism truly stood out and made a significant difference in our overall experience.
One area for improvement is the English proficiency of the staff. While they were all very friendly and eager to help, better English skills would enhance communication and the overall guest experience.
Overall, Kempinski Nanjing offers a fantastic stay with exceptional rooms and dining. Highly recommended!

AAvinash Kumar VermaThe hotel is tidy and well maintained. Cordial Staff. Services and amenities are upto the standard. Delicious breakfast as compared to other options in the neighbourhood. Although one can try other delicacies round the corner. For people who are looking for McDonald's and KFC; both are located within 200mtrs walking distance alongwith shopping centre where you can get almost all essentials.
Although easy to locate, if you follow the location as per booking voucher... the location on google maps shows a different location.

GGuest UserVery satisfied. The tea and snacks provided in the lobby are very warm. There is a free laundry room and gym on the first floor, which is very convenient. The front desk check-in is very professional and quick. Ms. Du in the lobby is very enthusiastic and patient in introducing attractions and food. Zhou Zhiyu's service is also very good.

GGuest UserThe environment is very good. There are bus stops and subway stations nearby, which is quite convenient. The robot delivered meals very quickly. On the first day of my stay, I received a gift box of fruit and an eye mask. People who come here should pay attention to safety. They extended my check-out time to 2 o'clock free of charge. The room was also very comfortable and cleaned very well every day.

GGuest UserI was generally satisfied with the accommodation during this trip, especially the breakfast provided by the restaurant on the fourth floor of Huangpu Hotel every morning. However, there was also something extremely annoying, which was the place where the dishes in the last picture were prepared - the restaurant on the second floor of Huangpu Hotel. The first time I went to the restaurant on the second floor for lunch, there was no waiter to provide service for a long time after I sat down. I had to shout for someone to come. Although it was a bit late at this time, it was only around twelve o'clock. There were not many tables in the restaurant, so the waiter had plenty of time to provide ordering service. He said that now you can scan the code to order, but the tableware must be placed manually! No one provided tableware and water pouring service. You had to shout loudly for the waiter to mechanically place the tableware and pour water like a robot. Then I went to the restaurant on the second floor for lunch for the second time. This time it was around eleven o'clock, not late! The attitude of this batch of waiters was much better than the first batch, but there were problems in the food delivery process. I ordered the dishes in the last picture and waited for 55 minutes before a roast duck was served and nothing else. If I hadn't urged them, I wouldn't know when the second dish would be served. Those who came to dine and order after us got their dishes before us, which made me very unhappy. Therefore, I don't recommend eating at the restaurant on the second floor, but the breakfast on the fourth floor is still worth recommending.

GGuest UserIt is the most outrageous season I have ever lived in. I saw the brand of the whole season and I was brainless. I didn't look at the evaluation pictures carefully. I stepped on the big pit 😂 as a warning! Everyone take a good look at the review pictures.
The whole decoration is like a guest house in the 80s, the floor is also peeling, the sofa is also spotty, but the basic hygiene is still passing.
Breakfast is even more from the original, unlike other all-season hotels, the variety is small, the quality is poor, the fried dough sticks are cold, the milk is cold.
