The hotel is really nice and easy to find. It is very close to the subway station. When I checked in at the front desk, the lady upgraded me. As soon as I walked in, I saw a big TV. The overall space is also very good and the decoration is also very nice. At night, I found that I couldn’t use the screen projection, and the lady came up to help me. She was super nice. The bed was also very comfortable. I slept very well. I haven’t slept so well in a long time. Next time I come to Nanjing, I will still choose this hotel!

The room is not very big, but very, very clean! There is no cheap hotel for the May Day trip...
After choosing and choosing, the facilities close to the scenic spots are not very new, and the twin rooms of the express hotel are all 1.2m. In the end, the twin beds can be larger, clean, new, and the high-rated match is this one that looks good!
Now it seems that the quality of private hotels with full-house intelligence is still good. The last time I stayed in a good one was in Pingtan.
Stayed here for one night, the bedding was clean, and the mattress was unexpectedly very comfortable. It was better than sleeping at home. I was picky and closed my eyes and rushed to this one. The pillows and quilts were also very good. The next morning, I immediately canceled the hotel for the next day and continued to stay at this one. For these, I can tolerate some small flaws, that is, the bathroom is really unacceptable for not being completely closed. Can't the sliding door be sealed to the top? The room smells awkward. In addition, the breakfast is good, there is a laundry room and a public toilet. There are also system windows, and the road noise is completely inaudible

TTheOGJayoAmazing hotel. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating! They upgraded us into a larger room as they felt the one we booked would be a bit too small for a family of four. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable (firm beds which we love) and the bathroom was modern.
The location is perfect: very quiet but close to busy areas. The hotel staff even helped us by doing laundry for us multiple times during our stay.
The owner gave us multiple teas to bring home, which were all delicious. Our girls loved the dog in the lobby too.
I would love to stay at this hotel again if I return back to Nanjing. We stayed at hotels in Beijing, Shenyang and Dalian and this hotel was much nicer than all of those hotels!
Note: my wife is Chinese, so that definitely helped with communication, but I feel the staff would have made us feel comfortable even if we only spoke English.

GGuimomoThis hotel was a fantastic find! First off, the front desk and lobby staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. The room was spotless, and they even offered complimentary snacks, drinks, and a welcome fruit platter. You could also see the Zifeng Tower from our room! The location is super convenient; it's just a three-minute walk to Xinjiekou Metro Station. Breakfast was abundant and included many local Nanjing specialties. They even gave us a small gift at checkout, which was a lovely touch. I'll definitely choose Mercure again the next time I'm in Nanjing.

XXavierasyI booked a suite for 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott the night before I came from Xi'an because I wanted to visit Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng, and other tourist spots nearby.
The location of the Courtyard is actually not bad; it's right beside the Hedingqiao metro station, and many food booths and convenience stores are just downstairs. You can buy takeaway at any time. The reception staff is nice and helpful and can speak very good English, no doubt.
The worst was the concierge. One of the concierge staff has been playing on his cellphone every single moment. I took Didi or the metro at least 4 or 5 times every day. Every time I pass through the entrance, he is playing on his phone.
The most frustrating part was when I ordered takeaway through the app. The delivery man said he placed it on the concierge cart right next to that guy, but someone took my package, and he didn't notice. YEAH, How could he possibly know if he was preoccupied with his phone ?!

GGuest UserI booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations.
We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby.
We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed.
Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel.
This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance.
We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again.
Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed.
When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet.
Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.

Hygiene: The overall feeling of the indoor area is good, and the outdoor area is relatively primitive and needs to be improved.
Environment: Highly recommended. I went to Kuanzhai Bar at night, and it felt like Nanjing Pattaya, very comfortable; I ran a circle of less than four kilometers in the park during the day, and it was an oxygen bar in nature, and I lingered; you can walk, ride, and play in the park, and there are many projects...
Service: Active and friendly, thoughtful, very good!

LLuan YeeI am not very pleased with my stay at this hotel. While walking along the corridor to my room, I noticed a smell that was musty and the corridor was heavily deodorised.
When I used the toilet for the first time, it choked and I had to call the reception to send the someone to clear the toilet bowl. The manager Ying Yue told me that I must not throw the toilet paper into the toilet bowl but instead throw it into the dust bin that was beside the toilet bowl. I was flabbergasted because throwing the toilet paper into the dust bin would mean that the toilet would smell of faeces and urine. Now I understand why the corridor has a musty smell and why it must be deodorised to cover the smell.
She said that all hotels in Nanjing had this plumbing problem. I asked her why wasn't there a notice in the toilet to tell guests what to do with the toilet paper after using it. She replied that all local guests know they are not supposed to throw the toilet paper into the toilet bowl and it is the local Nanjing toilet culture.
She also mentioned that the toilet paper Atour provided is extra thick and is not soluble, so that's another reason not to throw the toilet paper into the toilet bowl.
However, she was nice enough to accompany me to the convenience store next door and paid for two packets of ordinary tissue paper.
Another issue I had was the supper provided. It said from 9:30 pm to 11 pm. When we went there on the first night of our stay at 9:40 pm, the rice porridge and millet porridge were totally cold and the 3 types of buns were randomly thrown into two steaming baskets, all mixed up and cold. I asked the young staff why wasn't the buns heated. He couldn't answer. The food didn't look enough to last till 11 pm. On the last night, we went for supper again at 9:30 pm sharp. Both the rice and millet porridge were just lukewarm and I asked the two young staff why wasn't the porridge heated. One of them told me that old and young guests do not like hot porridge. This must be the most absurb statement I have heard about porridge. I think Atour should be more siincere about the supper it offers.
Except for the two young staff at the restaurant, all the other reception staff and cleaning ladies were very polite and helpful.

XXiaoyouchengThe bed was massive, felt like 2.4 meters! The hotel environment is super nice, very clean, and luxurious. There were also many international guests. There's an outlet mall nearby, within walking distance, but I didn't go. The styles and brands weren't that impressive. I chose this hotel because I was here for Brother Sheng's concert, and it was close by. It was really good!

The staff were all smiles and incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay, from check-in to check-out, making everything so hassle-free. The value for money here is outstanding. We'll definitely choose this place again on our next visit!

ZZhou xingxingEvery time I visit Nanjing, I stay at this hotel because of its excellent location. It's convenient to get anywhere, and there's a mall downstairs with a great variety of food options. If I'm too lazy to go out, ordering takeout is super easy, with options for robot delivery right to my door or self-pickup from the lobby's takeout cabinet. The front desk staff, in particular, are incredibly kind and accommodating, always ready to help! The breakfast here is also delicious, with a wide selection.

AAnonymous UserWe arrived at night and walked from Dongliu subway station. There was no light outside and the road was pitch black, which was scary. After arriving, there was no light and we walked around in a circle. It was not easy to find. In fact, it is located near the southeast of the community and is easier to find during the day. The bed is right at the entrance of the room, and you can hear people coming and going in the corridor. The sound insulation is average. The newly opened hotel is fairly clean. There is a foul smell in the bathroom, I don’t know if it is related to the weather. There is a storefront at the west gate of the community where you can have breakfast. The advantage is the affordable price.
