Love the history and quaintness of this place. Lots of attention to all the little details that make you feel welcome. Pat greeted us at the door and helped us settle in. Waking up to the beautiful scenery and the delicious homemade overnight oats was wonderful. Would stay there again and definitely longer.

We stayed in train 2. It was very clean and had lots of little added touches to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Easy and quick communication with the owner. You can tell they take great pride in their property.

Train car accommodations were beautiful, well appointed & very clean. It was unfortunate that outdoor lighting didn’t come on until after we arrived in the dark.
Also, non-slip options would be a safe addition for the shower.

The extras, fresh sourdough bread, jam, cereal and best of all plenty of kuerig coffee (not your usual 2)
If it was an option, we would take the Shamrock Inn with us every place we travel.

If you are looking for a well maintained and renovated old house with a great outdoor area this is your spot. The owner is superb nice and very helpful.

Can't beat the other positive reviews on this property! Beautifully restored historic home with all the modern conveniences and spotlessly clean! Pam was a fantastic host, even helped us plan best route for our next travel leg. Private kitchenette with breakfast options was a plus, included homemade overnight oats and artisanal bread. Suggest adding On The Boardwalk Cafe to list of recommended restaurants as it's new, very close by, and food was superb and service friendly.
