Definitely the best hotel option - it’s very picturesque, and provides everything you need as far as entertainment (there’s two bars, food, nightly entertainment and the rooftop is essentially a club/busy bar itself. )

We were on a trip with 4 other couples, all staying in various hotels around Canal/Bourbon street, and the property at Virgin Hotels in New Orleans, from the lobby/coffeshop, to the room, to the rooftop bar were far and away better than the other properties for around the same price. It was our Anniversary weekend, and there was a very nice gift from the hotel in our room upon arrival, and everything was perfect. For anyone looking to see the WWII museum on their stay, it was an easy 10 min. walk, and Bourbon Street was 15-20 minutes away (for those inclined).
The pictures and reviews on this hotel are accurate and probably understated compared to the experience we just had there in May 2022!

The Virgin Hotel was vibrant and offered a relaxed art deco experience. The interior design is very inviting. Red room doors, vintage meets rock. The entire stay from the doormen to check out was inviting. I will book more stays at Virgin Hotels in the future.

Love the brand.Staff is very friendly and wants to help. The only thing you have to be aware of is those light sensor that automatically opens in room. They cannot be disabled and they have one in the bathroom. So 3am be ready to get a big light in your face. I have given my feedback that this is not a good user experience.

This hotel was so chic and cool! The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. My only drawback was the shower drain wouldn’t stay up so I had to hold the stopper up to drain water. Hotel staff was very friendly. Bar staff and servers were also great!

customer services is horrible! Bell hops and valet are hospitable but the rest of the hotel is not customer service oriented for a high end boutique hotel. Very disappointed in the stay due to service. I've had better service at a Holiday Inn and LaQuinta.
No complimentary coffee in lobby.
In room, you have to boil water in a pot and then dip coffee filter into your mug for coffee.
No complimentary water.
Bartenders and hostess were rude.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I loved the decor, reminded me of the personal touch of a boutique with a flair or haute couture. My daughter was impressed by the decor and said that this place "eats". I was so impressed by all of the spaces in the hotel, the art, the comfort of the bed, the layout of the room, the ambiance that I was hard pressed to research who the owner of the hotel is. I highly recommend this hotel to persons that love luxury feel at an affordable price. Love, love, love this place. New Orleans is my new favorite city.
