We traveled as a group for one night in three rooms. We were there for a concert in Brooklyn. The location is great in downtown. There are parking lots next to the hotel. The hotel was great in every aspect for a 4 star hotel.
The room size is okay. It's standard for a normal three-star hotel in China, which is rare in New York. The location is pretty good, and it's relatively close to the subway station. It's only two subway stops away from Manhattan.
The soundproofing of the room is average. If you don't sleep well, I suggest you tell the front desk and ask them to give you a room not facing the street. They are L-shaped, so some rooms are facing the street and some are not.
Also be careful to avoid the ice-making machines, they are too noisy.
There is 24-hour hot boiled water in the lobby on the first floor! ! !
The service was very enthusiastic. While I was waiting for the bus in the lobby, there was a front desk clerk named Molly who took the initiative to help me keep my luggage.
It's a very comfortable and spacious room. There are basically no shortcomings. The security service at the door is very good. You can't enter without a key card. It's a great experience.

Nice place. Deep south Manhattan. About 5 minute walk from Staten Island ferry but very far removed from any other big event unless you want to hop on a train.
Enough room for a bed, two bodies and not much else. Has window but just a view of the building next to it. Room was able to stay cool, it let's you set your own temperature for about 2 hours then it resets to default which is a little toasty, especially in hotter weather. Elevator is the fastest elevator I've ever riden in. Maybe 4 or 5 seconds to get from bottom to top if you get a straight shot.
Biggest problem is the TV and it's services. You need to scan a QR code to use your phone as a remote and only when you're connected to the hotel wifi and it's very finicky. It also tells you that you can use chrome cast or airplay by scanning another qr code and just using a streaming service off your phone. This does not work. And I had to talk to 3 service people to figure out it just would not work. All of them were as helpful as they could be, just didn't know what was going on. Then I got lucky and caught someone who knew and they said it's an upgrade in the entire hotel chain system, not even that specific hotel. So until they finish it on their end then update that hotel casting to the TV isn't possible and isn't stated anywhere that it's broken. And no time frame when it will ever be back. So your only option using the TV is cable TV with your phone as the remote.
The Sheraton Brooklyn New York Hotel is a modern and conveniently located property, ideal for travelers exploring Brooklyn or commuting to Manhattan. Situated near downtown Brooklyn, it offers easy access to attractions like the Brooklyn Bridge, Barclays Center, and a variety of restaurants and shops.
Guests often praise the comfortable rooms, featuring Sheraton’s signature bedding, modern decor, and useful amenities like free Wi-Fi for Marriott Bonvoy members. The rooftop bar and lounge are a highlight, offering great views of the city. The fitness center and on-site dining options are also well-received.
Some guests note that the surrounding area can be busy and may lack the charm of other Brooklyn neighborhoods. Additionally, parking can be a challenge, and a few reviews mention occasional service delays. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a comfortable stay with easy access to both Brooklyn and Manhattan.
+ Prime downtown Brooklyn location, close to many dining and travel options, close to Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, as well as I-278 Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. There's also a rooftop sushi lounge!
+ Staff and cleaning services were daily, consistent and helpful.
+ Beds, sheets and towels were clean and comfortable.
+ WiFi was great and fast, even the basic guest option! They do have very affordable upgrade options, if needed.
+/- Requested king bed room, none were available, stayed instead in double queen room.
+/- Because it's in the middle of downtown Brooklyn, outside noise is very much a factor - car horns honking, sirens, people, etc.
+/- As expected, parking and traffic is difficult. There is metered parking on the block of the hotel, itself, as well as garage options around the area. The block, itself, is also fairly narrow due to ongoing construction across the street from the hotel.
+/- Only facility not offered is laundry. My total stay was over a week, so that was unfortunate, I'd love to have been able to do laundry on-site.
No real negatives here, was a great stay!
The room design is very unique, the room size is also very good, clean, bright, and generally very comfortable. The location is also very good, 15 minutes walk from the stadium, there are shopping malls, supermarkets, etc. nearby, the surrounding environment is also very safe, very close to the subway station, about 2 minutes walk. The bar downstairs is very unique, very lively on weekend nights!
Overall had a good stay room was above expectations for location only improvements would be elevator situation need separate system for housekeeping causes delays has to be resolved.

IIliaExcellent service: fast check-in, attentive staff and daily high-quality full room cleaning. The hotel offers unlimited hot drinks 24/7. The most necessary medicines at a reasonable price. The room is spacious, hygienic, newly renovated. Comfortable bathroom. 3-5 minutes walk to the metro, 10 minutes to the legendary Coney Island. For Europeans, the WIFI speed left much to be desired, but this is a US feature. For NYC the price per room is reasonable. I recommend visiting.
WWHY-not_The room size is ok and there is no pressure to open the big suitcase
The decoration is very new, relatively modern style, there is a very comfortable lounge chair, the hygiene is also very good, the front desk has a warm attitude, and the special price is very cost-effective
It's a minute or two walk from the subway station. It's very convenient to buy a weekly pass, but there is no elevator in that subway station and it's not very friendly to suitcases.
There is a supermarket nearby and there are no security incidents.
SSusanaIt was close to our relatives home; Therefore, very suitable location.
Very clean hotel.
Sound proof terrible.
RM 509 Is right where the subway train track is. Therefore, constant noise throughout the night.
AAnonymous UserThe room is a bit small, and the noise from the street is a bit noisy. The breakfast is not bad, with eggs, cereal, cakes, bacon, yogurt, milk, fruit, etc., which is considered rich in the United States. The service staff is very enthusiastic, with the natural enthusiasm of Americans!
GGuest UserPositive overall with advisory;
I was traveling with my son and thought to sleep close to JFk for next early morning flight. Big two factors were 1st free parking, 2nd free breakfast.
Well, breakfast is NOT early enough, starts 7:30 am, second there is NOT enough parking for all guests.
So we had to street park and check out before the 7:00 am threshold by the city of NY.
Overall worked well, the hotel is clean, staff is professional, and we were offered free upgrade too.
I would consider staying there again and do recommend, with the parking and breakfast limitations in mind.
EEduardoLocation was great. Access to public transportation and a variety of restaurants and shopping areas. Can’t provide any comments about the service other than that the reception was good. They did have The room itself was very small. It came with a king bed which made it even smaller. There was no closet available other a place to hang hangers. Only one drawer was provided to store personal items and a tiny refrigerator. Although useless the room had a very nice tv but no WiFi so you were relegated to watching four channels.
DDanny Agung WirawanI’m stay for 5 nights in this hotel. They said that the hotel just opened for 3 days, it’s seems like it’s not ready yet to open. My rooms floor was very dirty n dusty. No water for drinks so I have to buy it with my self every day. Room also not cleaned everyday. This hotel location is in the front of flyover that’s very noisy all the time. The staff was friendly n very helpful.
