"The room was very clean, new, and smelled great. There was only one power outlet by the bed, but the host kindly provided a power strip. The toilet seat was quite uncomfortable. The room was not soundproof at all; the noise from cars and motorcycles outside was so loud it made the walls vibrate! It was incredibly noisy, incredibly noisy! I only managed to sleep for about 4 hours, it was unbearable."

"I had a really good stay at Tree Monkey Hostel. The room felt comfortable and had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower facilities were clean and easy to use. I also liked that you can choose between hot and cold water anytime - simple but very practical. It’s a pretty basic setup, but in a good way - it covers all the essentials without feeling like anything is missing. For me, it was more than enough. One of the highlights was the staff. The woman handling check-in was very friendly and welcoming. Even though her English isn’t perfect, communication was still easy. She’s very accommodating and always tries to help or find a solution, which I really appreciated. The location is also great, with restaurants nearby and the beach within easy reach, so it’s very convenient overall. One thing to mention is that there were some drain flies in the room. That said, they didn’t bother me much - especially at night when sleeping, I barely noticed them. It might be something to keep in mind, but for me personally it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with very friendly and helpful service."

"Нам очень понравилось отдыхать в отеле Chaweng Bay View Resort by Smith & Appy. Мы забронировали номер с видом на море. Виды с террасы прекрасные на море, а с номера были красивые сады. Номер большой, есть все необходимое: холодильник, чайник, фен, сейф. Убирались у нас за 5 дней только один раз. Завтраки с 8:00-11:00. Удобное время для тех кто любит поспать. Также на ресепшене мы купили экскурсию на морскую прогулки с дельфинами. Выезд был в 8:00. Пришли на завтрак в 7:10 персонал был в процессе готовки завтрака, но все ровно не оставили нас голодными. Спасибо большое за сервис и понимание 🙏🏻 Отель расположен на скалистой местности и подьемы пешком сложные, но персонал всегда может отвести тебе до номера или ресторана на гольф-каре. 🛻 В спа зоне делали ремонт, там будет классная сауна с видом панорамные на море. Но мы к сожалению уехали раньше, чем закончился ремонт. Если вернемся еще раз на Самуи, то выбираем этот отель и сходим 🙌🏻"

"Good afternoon. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a budget room. It has spacious rooms and is close to the sea, restaurants, cafes, currency exchange offices, as well as discos and lively beaches. By the way, if you arrive very late, you can ask the hotel's neighbors for Wi-Fi (if they don't have their own), or message the hotel service on WhatsApp, and they'll bring you the keys. Ours lasted 10 minutes, and everything was sorted out. The room had everything we needed. Thank you, hotel!"

"The hotel staff and the owner were very good! They even have a friendly cat who will accompany you during the stay! However, the friendliness and kindness of the staff and owner will not help with the comfort of your stay! The rooms have a good view of the ocean, however they're small and the structure is built on some metal platform. So if the guests on the other room walk around or even talk, you can not only hear their footsteps, but the entire structures shakes. Also, for the 2 nights we stayed there, the guests in our next room were watching TV and we couldn't sleep well because of the noise. The rooms have zero sound proofing and the entire structure just shakes. Its okay for a short stay, however for the amount we were charged, it was definitely not t worth it. Even the high season doesn't justify the price we paid."
