Porth Veor Manor, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

We had the most wonderful stay at Porth Manor Hotel in September. Staff are amazing so attentive and couldn’t do enough for you to make our stay a very special one. Our room was fab, light and airy with a balcony and sea/coastal views; towels are so big and fluffy and lots of little details in room to make our stay very special. Bed super comfy, constant hot water for showers it’s all just perfect and such good value of money. Breakfast and evening meal all home cooked and delicious with so much choice. Location a 5 min walk to Porth Beach and a lovely walk to Watergate Bay or Newquay. We are looking toward to our return stay in March and would definitely recommend if staying in Cornwall. Thank you to all the team ❤️

The only hotel I will stay in in Cornwall ! Its position is fantastic- overlooking beautiful Porth Beach but what truly stands out is the friendliness and hospitality of all the staff . They really are a credit to the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and you leave feeling like you have made lifetime friends. The food is amazing & we left with much tighter clothes 🤣 can’t wait to return next year

Stayed for 1 night last Friday as we were staying in Newquay for the weekend and needed a stop over, we arrived quite late around 8.30 so had to collect the keys from the bar, we had booked a room with a balcony overlooking Porth beach which had a very nice view, we found the room to be great, the bed was very comfy and the shower was lovely with thick fluffy towels, we walked into Newquay to eat and get a few drinks which took around half an hour, if I had 1 small criticism it would be that the checkout time is a bit early 10.00am

Location was great as it was close to where we needed to be. The apartment we stayed in was a decent size perfect for all of us to fit in. Swimming pool that was available was lovely and warm. Stuff we interacted with were friendly. However, the cleanliness was not up to scratch in some rooms that was great! Big cobwebs that were almost black because they were so dusty. There was absolutely massive cobwebs going across the door frames in most of the bathrooms. Carpets were not vacuumed properly. It was old. Shoelaces still on the floor in one of the rooms. The cleanliness needs drastically looking at.

Location was great. Room was clean and very comfortable. The stairs to it are not suitable for everyone and there was no lift. The older receptionist was very rude and not welcoming at all, I don’t think she enjoys her job at all. There was a younger man and lady who were lovely and helpful.

The location is amazing the hotel is amazing and clean and all staff where amazing and friendly. The atmosphere is relax and friendly. Rooms are clean and of high spec and quality. The price was value for money. Very quiet and relax. The amenities was amazing too.

Good location to local beach & costal walk 30min walk to town , quiet friendly hotel staff friendly breakfast very good value pool is lovely and not to busy , rooms Good size and clean lovely fluffy towels

We stayed here just for one night as we were going to an event at Lusty Glaze (a very short walk from here). Free parking, easy and friendly check-in. Room was ideal for a night. Great breakfast (omelette was fantastic). Helpful staff. My only comment would be that getting to our room (28) was a bit like getting to the toilet in a Wetherspoons...it was a very long way from the entrance! It wasn't an issue for us, but perhaps a consideration for those with more limited mobility.

Yet another fantastic week.had a sore toe and had problem Tuesday evening..they not only rang me a taxi but also said if there's any problems returning late l don't hesitate to call them .was even offered a sandwich or something if back too late and a bowl for my foot .the staff are fantastic second to none asked all week how I was ,and Did we need a hand with luggage .they treat you like royalty .the room was absolutely stunning lovely comfy bed lovely view overlooking Porth beach ⛱️,lovely TV and the heating was on all day so no worries of feeling cold.beeakfast first class so much on offer.had packed eggs then reverted to a three egg cheese omelette was golden brown and perfection.the staff take time out to talk to you from the gardener to housekeeping to waitress staff and reception.so many names I can mention Michelle, Charlie ,Maurice,Stuart ,Alison I can't remember all the names all I can say is it's my sixth visit and I can't wait to come back again very soon.you are a credit to all the hotels in Cornwall and I wouldn't stay anywhere else by far the best in Cornwall .
