Hotels in Train Station, Nice

The ceiling leaked on the second day of my stay, which was so scary. Fortunately, I was given a new room. I was tossed around in the middle of the night. The decoration is very new and creative. It is very convenient near the train station

The hotel is located in city near the main train station and it takes about 15-20 mins to get to the beach ! The staff is really lovely and I don't remember the receptionst name but his service was outstanding!!! If I go back to Nice, I will come back 10000000%!! The room cleaning service is perfect and the room is spacious and the bed&pillows are very comfy! There is no fridge in the room but on ground floor restaurant, we can get the water for FREE as much as we want!! It was really useful as it was boiling during my holiday. I saved a lot money for water as I could get water from there! I strongly recommend this hotel!!!! You will love it!

A great 4 nights stay at the Mercure Centre Notre Dame Nice late Sept 2024. The check in was a bit confusing as we booked and paid for a double Privilege room and we were assigned to a standard twin room. I came back immediately to reception and the swap was performed. The room was well equipped and the cleaning teams were very efficient. The breakfast food was average as we have had to ask for replenishment of some of the dishes. The choices of hot food were very limited. The staff at reception were very helpful to book taxi for us.

Overall the standard isn’t up to 4 star hotel, so if you’re looking for a properly-functioning one, I wouldn’t recommend it. Firstly, the hotel staffs are nice- all three I’ve encountered are super helpful and friendly. So credit to them 😊 However, the hotel itself really needs some WORK. 1, The room does not look as the one I ordered online- it looks rather small, despite the fact that I booked the double comfortable room with spacious view in the advertising picture. 2, the Center heating system smells like TOILET. I turned it on because it’s still march and sometimes the room got chilly at night. And guess what, I often smell the toilet 🚽 air here and there …… it really disgusted me. 3, also please note to fix the TV. As shown in the picture, there’s no signal and since it was the last morning I stayed, I didn’t bother asking anyone to check but the screen would turn green. The location is super convenient so I had the chance to take trains to many tourism attractions and wineries, but if you’re looking for a place with nice amenities that at least function well, it isn’t your best option.

Had an excellent stay at Yelo Jean Medecin! Rooms were very clean with housekeeping everyday. Note that parking was very narrow but it seems like the same all around Nice. You do also need to call the reception for them to open the carpark gantry every entrance/ exit. But they are very prompt on picking up the phone! :) Overall a pleasant experience, thank you!

Rooms are VERY tiny but were modern and clean. Location is perfect for active travelers as it is literally 40 meters from the central train station, you can basically get to your platform in 5 minutes from your room. (Can get a bit loud outside occasionally, it's in the middle of the city after all.) Breakfast is GREAT, wide range of options, with all excellent quality products for the price. Can also store your suitcase (locked up) after checking out which can be useful. Definitely would stay here again anytime! Very satisfied.

The room is small but the cleaning staff cleans it very well every time. I have to ask the front desk staff, a black man, who is very gentleman, with clear explanations and good attitude. One day, the water in my shower area was blocked. I found another female front desk and it was fixed when I came back. Their overall feeling to me is that the hotel is not big, but the staff are very professional and polite. Let's talk about the location. This hotel is about 5 minutes away from the train station. It is just downstairs from the No. 1 light rail. The transportation is convenient. Compared with the price, the price-performance ratio is good. However, there is no kettle in the room, which is not friendly to Asian tourists. There is a shared kettle in the breakfast area on the first floor, which is not very convenient.

The location was great, right next to Nice Station! It was about a 15-minute walk to the city center, and there was a coin laundry nearby, which was very helpful. Slippers were provided and the entrance was clean, but the room was a little small for two people. The doors to the toilet and dressing room were hard to close. But other than that I was satisfied!

The location is good, close to the train station and the beach. There is also a large supermarket next to it to meet daily needs. It is very convenient to walk to Galeries Lafayette and the old town. The room design is modern and simple.

Very nice service, clean room and facilities in good condition. The position is great with only 2 mins walk to the train station. Convenient area with restaurants opening from 8am to 11pm. Best choice for train trip to suburb area around Nice. Cons: tea and milk provided is normal as in any French supermarkets. The layout of room is a bit tight. The bathroom may splash water out. Generally good hotel in Nice. Would recommend friends to visit as a safe choice in a normal budget.
