Hotels in Train Station, Nice

Stayed one night in Nice. It's a bit of a walk from the train station, about 1.5 km. Located in the old town, it's very convenient to walk to all the attractions. The hotel room was clean and bright.

The room was great, quite spacious for a French hotel, and very well-designed. The breakfast offered a good variety, and the staff were enthusiastic. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. It's right next to the train station, with a shopping center downstairs, plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and close to the main street.

Big shoutout to Maurice for making my stay a pleasant and welcome one! Maurice was professional, kind and helpful to my enquiries during my stay at Hotel 66. I will come back to this hotel if I ever visit Nice again. The room is spacious and clean for me. The bed is also comfortable. There is a cleaning service everday, unless you choose to put up a do not disturb at your door. There is a safe box to store your valuable belongings. Hand soap, shampoo, body soap and conditioner (as a woman, I was shocked when conditioner is also provided!) and hair dryer are all provided. The soap all smell so good. House slipper and laundry bag are also provided. It is a strategic location, very near to tram and train station. Less than a 10 min walk. There is also a few pharmacies and restaurant nearby. Most of the locations are all walkable distance, you can also take the tram too by buying and validating your tickets. Most importantly, I am very satisfied and feel at ease that they provide storing luggages after you check out, and you collect them whenever you are ready. I also love how there is an unlimited coffee and drinking water provided to all guests. The only downside is that there is no kettle and refrigerator in the room, making it a bit inconvenient as you would have to get hot water at the breakfast dining area. But overall, I am satisfied with my three nights at Hotel 66. Lastly, thank you Maurice for making me feel welcomed and safe during my first Nice trip.

Location is great! 3 to 5 mins walk to the station then 5 to 10 mons walk to the town center with Monoprix and lots of food and shopping hub. Nice is really good! Has lift so luggage friendly. Although the smell of the room is still there, I felt like someone smoked inside the room and the cleaner just clean it rapidly.

I had enjoy my room in Bristol hotel. Clean bathroom, towels, WiFi and they gave me a quiet room so I could sleep and relax Definitely will come back again

The location is excellent, right next to the train station, making it super convenient to travel to nearby towns. It's about a ten-minute walk to the beach, and there's a tram stop right outside, so it's a real transportation hub in Nice. The place was quite clean. Facilities were all good; there's free coffee on the ground floor, and you can grab water yourself. The L-shaped balcony is very spacious, but the curtains are a bit thin and don't block out much light. The only downside is that the elevator is quite slow, fitting a maximum of three people. This hotel offers incredible value for money. During my 20+ day trip in Europe, hotel prices ranged from 750 to 3000 euros per night, and this was the cheapest but definitely not the worst. If you plan on exploring the towns around Nice, this is the top choice.

Great location in the city center, less than a 10-minute walk from Nice train station. The hotel entrance is a bit small. We had an issue with a broken door lock, but thanks to Trip.com, it was handled promptly. The room was quite clean, but be careful of a sloped beam – we hit our heads on it several times. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, especially with the smoked salmon 🍣.

The hotel's location, cleanliness, environment, and facilities were all good. However, I booked a room with a balcony, but the room I was given was on the top floor (5th floor), a room with only a skylight and no window. I went to the front desk to request a room change, and was moved to a room on the 3rd floor with a window but no balcony (see picture below). We had just arrived at the hotel from China after a long and tiring journey by plane and train, and didn't want to go through any more trouble, so we checked in. In other words, I paid extra and didn't get the room I was supposed to stay in.

This hostel is conveniently located just 5-10 minutes from Nice-Ville station and is perfect for making trips to nearby cities and towns such as monte-carlo and menton. There are also many food options near the hostel and its is conveniently located near the city centre and also the beach. The locker is spacious and hangers are provided for you as well. Luggage storage before and after check-out is free so that is a big plus. Somethings about the hostel are bothersome such as the triple-deck bed. This triple deck bed is so wobbly that the whole bed shakes at the slightest movement such as turning your body or even just lying down or sitting up. This experience required everyone to have minimum movement throughout the night. The bottom bedframe being slightly curved shows that the bed obviously needs to be attached to the wall for better stability and support. The top bunk of this triple-deck is also not fitted with a nightlight and charger. This means that if you sleep on the top bunk, not only can you not see, you also do not have the convenience of charging your appliances while sleeping. This also means that this third deck is not part of the original bedroom design. The bathroom is a tiny bit mouldy and there is minor drainage smell but it is manageable so long as you keep the door closed. Overall, it is a nice hostel and the convenience to nearby towns, Nice city centre, and old Nice, makes up for the terrible triple-decker bed that honestly just should not exist and also seems like a last minute addition for more profit.
