2-Star Hotels in Nice

I dont like the smell of my capsule bed, bed #4 Its my first time to share room while travelling. I would say its nice, I eavesdrop to people talking (very entertaining, I just smile when I hear something funny) Clean Bathroom, but the bedding has a smell I personally dont like. And I dont encounter people that much even we are in just one room.

Everything is wonderful, very much liked the hotel and the people working in it. I would like to express my own thanks to the owner - a very sunny and welcome person who is always willing to help and support dialogue. There is no more joy than the joy of human communication - so I love to speak and so it was here. Our holiday in Nice wouldn't be half so beautiful without this wonderful hotel with panoramic views and wonderful people. The hotel is quite remote from the center, but we walked everywhere (about an hour walking to the old city and the embankment). There are buses and taxis if such distances are not normal for you. In the room there is all necessary for life - air conditioner, towels, soap, shower-sampoule gel, fan, glasses for water (but slippers/baths take yours). If you plan to swim, take your towels as towels from the hotel cannot be taken. Breakfast is great, we usually take one for two and buy something in the shop or bakery since evening (because I wanted something specific). In breakfast you can ask for something to replace (for example, I asked for coffee instead of juice, because I don't drink juice, etc.). You can ask a teapot to drink tea in the room. What a pleasure to sit on a terrace with a panoramic view and enjoy breakfast or dinner! Neighbours are sometimes noisy, but it is not the hotel 's fault, but the question of the nurture of the guests. From the hotel in 20 minutes walk the station from which you can reach Monaco and other nearby places Thank you for a great holiday! We will definitely return if we are still in Nice.

It's very close to the station, and the security is okay. There are many Asian restaurants nearby. There is no need to worry about robbery at the police station, but you should be careful of being stolen by Arabs and gypsies at the train station. Thefts in Nice train station are extremely high. I don’t know why there are so many Arabs around Nice Train Station...If an Arab tells you that you need to pay an extra euro to pay by credit card, then I just want to cheat you, but there is an Arab rotisserie called Naan next to it, which is worth a try. 11 or 12 euro royale viande assiette. The hotel has air conditioning, hot water and even a kettle, elevator, no disposable slippers but the floor is very clean, no toothbrush, toothpaste, towels, shampoo, shower gel, etc. Opposite is Notre Dame de Nice and downstairs is the commercial area.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel I think is average. I arrived at Nice airport at night and walked from Terminal 1 to the hotel. It took me around 20mins. The next day, I went to Nice Saint-Augustine train station to go to Monaco. I walked around 15mins, which was ok. The last day, I went to Nice city by tram. The tram stop is nearby the hotel, so it was good. If you are a Solo traveler and do not mind walking, it is a not bad choice. The view from the hotel was good too, so I put a picture.

This hostel is conveniently located just 5-10 minutes from Nice-Ville station and is perfect for making trips to nearby cities and towns such as monte-carlo and menton. There are also many food options near the hostel and its is conveniently located near the city centre and also the beach. The locker is spacious and hangers are provided for you as well. Luggage storage before and after check-out is free so that is a big plus. Somethings about the hostel are bothersome such as the triple-deck bed. This triple deck bed is so wobbly that the whole bed shakes at the slightest movement such as turning your body or even just lying down or sitting up. This experience required everyone to have minimum movement throughout the night. The bottom bedframe being slightly curved shows that the bed obviously needs to be attached to the wall for better stability and support. The top bunk of this triple-deck is also not fitted with a nightlight and charger. This means that if you sleep on the top bunk, not only can you not see, you also do not have the convenience of charging your appliances while sleeping. This also means that this third deck is not part of the original bedroom design. The bathroom is a tiny bit mouldy and there is minor drainage smell but it is manageable so long as you keep the door closed. Overall, it is a nice hostel and the convenience to nearby towns, Nice city centre, and old Nice, makes up for the terrible triple-decker bed that honestly just should not exist and also seems like a last minute addition for more profit.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It only takes 3 minutes to walk to Nice train station. There is a large supermarket opposite the hotel. Restaurants, light rail station! The bed in the room is clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are very polite!

No 'quiet hours' policy here. People would come in at 2 AM and start showering, rummaging through their luggage... absolutely no respect for those trying to rest, for example, after an overnight flight. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE. Because of the heat and lack of air conditioning, we had to open the windows at night, but then mosquitoes swarmed in and bit everyone mercilessly. Water is dispensed in small portions by pressing a button. To take a shower, you have to press the button about 50 times. It's ridiculous. In the women's dorm, there's only one small mirror above the sink. Very inconvenient. Breakfast was decent. The old ladies in the room were snoring, but the staff refused to move me to another room. As for cleanliness – it was just okay, average. Overall, the impression was awful; I couldn't get any sleep at all. Something needs to be done about this. They also allow smoking outside, right under the windows. As if the mosquitoes weren't enough.

The room is quite big, the twin room is suitable for our family of three! The location is very good, there is a Michelin restaurant downstairs, 41 euros a set meal is enough for 2 people to eat! Within 10 minutes walk to the beach, through zara/h&m/Lafayette, shopping is very convenient. The only downside is the power outage in the middle of the night...

It need bit of refurbishing in kitchen and terrace area. noice from other guest at night time didn’t allow us to sleep

This place is pretty basic but effective. Room very small (I was in 35). Plug in the washbasin stuck and took about 20min for them to fix it. Bowl under sink to catch drips was there the whole time and was a bit annoying to hear the drip drip during the night. But it’s close to the station in a lovely area and cheap as chips so good with me.
