Our second time in less than 2 months.
When you are greeted like old friends with warmth, professionalism and sweetness that’s the place to come back time after time.
Thank you to THE Team at Mama.
You are fabulous.
This time our room was on 4th floor. Very light , spotlessly clean…. Love the room and shower room with lovely bedding and towels.
You ll find the Tram to airport within a 10mins walk ( Port Lympia) or the train to Monaco Ventimiglia etc.. from ( Riquier station) less than 10 minutes.
Loads of cafes around too.
Loved our stay and needless to say , we will be back in the summer this time.
Thank you to the amazing welcoming Team

Guest UserThe location of Splendid Hotel & Spa in Nice was convenient, but the hotel itself feels a little dated. Unfortunately one of the lifts was not working during our entire stay, which made things less comfortable, especially during peak hours. Could smell sewage smell when out of the lift at 6th floor. Luckily room didn’t has that smell. Room pretty small.

ErdimamaThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to the airport, yet surprisingly not affected by airplane noise. The rooms are clean and tidy, and public transportation nearby is incredibly convenient, with many bus and subway lines. The hotel's swimming pool is also quite nice. Overall, it was a great stay.

The room was small, but the hygiene was acceptable. However, you could definitely hear people walking and doors opening and closing in the hallway, though it didn't disturb my sleep at night. The air conditioning had to be manually turned on and off, and it did blow a bit cold... The sink in the bathroom was really tiny, but it had all the essentials. Just a heads up, when traveling in France, it's best to bring your own shampoo. Hotels here often use one bottle for shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap – they seem to love these 3-in-1 products, but they don't lather well when washing hair. I ended up buying a small shampoo bottle nearby. There's an outdoor swimming pool on, I think, the second floor – I forgot which floor, but quite a few people were using it during the day. Walking to the beach felt quite far to me, at least 15-20 minutes. It felt even further when walking back to the hotel after a tiring day at the beach 😂.

The location is convenient – about a 10-minute walk to Nice Riquier train station, and 20-25 minutes on foot to Place Masséna. Tram #1 runs nearby, and a bit further, from Place Garibaldi, you can catch tram #2 to the airport and tram #3. Across the street from the hotel is a shopping center with a Carrefour that we visited daily.
The room has almost everything you need for a stay, including a well-equipped kitchenette with a two-burner stove, microwave, kettle, capsule coffee machine (we don't drink coffee, so didn't use it), refrigerator, and dishwasher (with a few tablets provided). There was also dish soap, but no sponge (we had to buy one ourselves). There was also no cutting board (we bought one too). All necessary utensils are available (though for knives, there's only a small one for vegetables and a bread knife; a larger, all-purpose knife would have been nice). For those who care, there were no cooking essentials like salt, sugar, or spices, which are usually present in apartments of this type.
As warned beforehand, there's no cleaning service during your stay (there's a vacuum cleaner in the closet). You have to take out the trash yourself, and towels are not changed (there's a heated towel rail in the bathroom, which is very convenient; you can wash something and it dries quickly). The bathroom has liquid soap and shower gel, a bathtub, and a shower hose. An ironing board is available (I don't recall an iron as it wasn't needed). There's also a safe.
Our stay was quite satisfying, and we would book again.

Fantastic hotel with great location. Rooms were lovely with a terrace. Lovely touch at night with a turndown service. Chocolate and gold eye masks. Spa and rooftop pool were great especially after a long day sightseeing. Rooms cleaned to perfection and all fresh towels and bedding. Staff were fantastic especially Samantha who checked us in. She was friendly and gave plenty of recommendations for eating and heading out on day trips. She also brought balloons and welcome champagne as it was a special trip with a lovely card from the hotel staff. She was amazing and is a credit to the hotel.
Location 7mins to the beach and 7mins to the train station. Perfect for exploring the coast.
Will be returning to the hotel in the near future. Thank you for a special stay.

Guest UserOverall, I was satisfied, but I kept hearing a 'ding-dong' knocking sound, which I didn't experience on the 6th floor a few days ago. I'm on the 4th floor now, so maybe they're doing some maintenance.
Also, a 100 Euro deposit is required for every stay, even though the full payment has already been made. This seems a bit unreasonable; even the famous Swiss hotels only charge a 1 Euro deposit. Hmm.

The location is about 1.5 kilometers from the beach. There is a road under construction in front of the door, which is a bit messy. There is a supermarket not far away. Parking is in a parking building across the road. You need to go to the front desk to get a barcode before driving over. You have to scan the barcode twice to enter and exit the parking building, which is a test of thinking and action ability. To put it bluntly, it is a bit confusing. The hotel facilities are not bad, but it is a bit old. I don’t know if it’s the water pipes or some equipment that occasionally starts at night, it’s a bit noisy. It’s just like that if you pass by and stay for one night.

Anonymous UserThe hotel had a newly renovated wing and that was the reason why we booked it. However, upon check in, we were assigned to the older wing and the room was dated and not renovated. We tried to request for rooms in the renovated wing but there was no availability. On the second day, we were lucky to be served by Delsey who helped us tremendously for a room in the newer wing. Big thank you to Delsey for your great service, we enjoyed our stay after we moved to the new renovated room which was clean and good.
