4-Star Hotels in Nice

The hotel is literally 5 mins walk from the Nice airport Terminal 1, and there's free train outside of the hotel to take me back and forth to the terminal. That's super convenient for getting ready to fly. The room are big and new, the staff are friendly, and the gym is small but have most that I need, plus a sauna that I can use anytime after workout. It's a perfect layover stop.

The location is near the Nice airport, which is very convenient. The tram and bus stops are right outside the hotel, so you have easy access to the airport, and to the city centers of Nice, Cannes and other locations. The hotel, overall, was clear. They did a good job with the rooms, which were fairly spacious, only there was a bit of confusion about which glass bottles were clean or dirty outside, near the water machine, which is the only way you can get drinking water for the room. The clean bottles were supposed to be on top of the machine outside, near the elevator, but I was unsure if those bottles were actually clean. The service was very good, the team at the front desk was very helpful. There was a small scare when we first arrived, as the hotel said that they did not have our booking in their system (which I had fully paid for in advice, on Trip.com). They made a few phone calls, and we managed to get the 2 rooms that we booked for the five of us (2 adults, 3 children). I should point out that they said I was lucky that they had their last 2 rooms available, which they keep for such emergencies. I did not pay for breakfast, but we did eat the breakfast there twice, and if one adult buys the breakfast (19 euros), then the children are free. That worked well for us, and the children enjoyed the breakfast, as did the adults. There is a swimming pool, which is a small to medium size, and although we didn't use it, saw that many others were enjoying the pool. The gym was a decent size, but there were no free weights, which I like to use, so I did not use the gym. The restaurant connected to the hotel is only open Monday to Friday, and the menu is limited. There is not a great selection of restaurants nearby, but you can order in from others further away, though you will find that they make mistakes. Overall, a good choice for a reasonable hotel near the airport with good access to the cities around.

Great location, close to the train station. The room size was decent, but it lacked a wet/dry separation. It seemed like this room type was previously designed for Japanese guests, featuring a dedicated basin for post-toilet washing. Slippers and bottled water were not provided, but there's a water dispenser in the lobby. Even with a 3-day booking, I was only given a low-floor room. There's a 'Yi Jiangnan' restaurant nearby, but apparently, it's not run by Chinese people, and the prices are a bit high.

My stay at the Le Riviera Collection, BW Signature Collection was truly outstanding, and I would love to share my experience. The hotel immediately impresses with its tasteful design: modern, bright, and elegant, yet still warm and inviting. The atmosphere is relaxed, creating a sense of comfort and welcome from the very first moment. My room was spotless, well-appointed, and provided everything I needed for a pleasant stay, from a very comfortable bed to thoughtful little details that made me feel at home. The location is also excellent: quiet, yet just a short walk from the Promenade des Anglais, the city center, and many of Nice’s main attractions. One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast experience. The buffet offers a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options, from French pastries and fresh fruit to savory dishes, ensuring there’s something for everyone. What truly sets it apart, however, is the wonderful breakfast team. A very special mention goes to Claudia, Noreen, David and Emma, who greeted us every morning with a smile, genuine kindness, and remarkable attentiveness. The entire breakfast staff were equally warm, helpful, and professional, you could feel their passion for making guests feel welcome and cared for. They help you to discover attractions near by, just ask. The reception and service team were also excellent, always friendly, responsive, and eager to provide recommendations for restaurants and things to do around Nice. Their attention and dedication really enhanced my stay. In summary: the Le Riviera Collection is not only a beautiful hotel, but also a place that shines because of the people working there. I felt welcomed, valued, and cared for throughout my stay. Without a doubt, I will choose this hotel again on my next visit to Nice. A highly recommended choice for anyone looking for a stylish hotel with excellent service and a breakfast team that makes every day start with a smile.

getting there : you dont need the tram from Terminal 1 (its walking distance and its well sign posted)but you do for terminal 2. The main door was out of order so in the dark it’s hard to find the side one. Reception was easy but there can member of staff after 10/11pm which could delays things. Rooms are fine but I would not say to Sheraton standards and certainly nothing to brag about on the deluxe room option. All comfortable, practical , clean and what you need for an overnight stay. The pool was closed as Jan/feb there is no one to supervise and rather cold. This was not mentioned when booking was done which is a shame if you have kids! Room: is fine but there is a constant buzzing noise which either comes from the aircon or the electrical unit outside ( not sure). Bed is comfy and cosy and bathroom is all what you need. However there is a constant smell of sewage coming and going either in the hotel area or the bathroom. It’s intermittent and comes and goes, somewhat unpleasant at times but not overwhelming annoying. Breakfast was good and you can order an omelette (as per previous unsure reviews) on request though plenty of choice is presented for full international breakfast. It’s all spread out over the whole room so there is a lot of going and coming around :) Overall easy stay for a night , Summers or hot days must be fun with the top terrace/pool thought the view is mostly over the airport ( if you like that). I would say a tick expensive for what you get but they can charge a premium for airport surroundings! Recommend for short stay or late arrival.

The location is fantastic, within walking distance to the train station and popular attractions like Place Masséna and Old Nice. The service was warm and accommodating, providing all sorts of conveniences. Nice has many attractions nearby, so staying here is very convenient. The only downside was that the internet connection was sometimes unstable.

I visited the South of France during the hottest period, but the room's air conditioning could only cool it down by a maximum of 7 degrees Celsius below the outside temperature. On the plus side, the hotel offers complimentary umbrellas and mats to take to the beach, and it's incredibly close to the train station. The brunch spot downstairs serves generous portions and delicious food, definitely worth trying. Upon check-in, I received a perfume wipe as a gift, which was a nice touch and introduced me to a new product.

The location was great, the room was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. However, if the room door isn't closed properly, it won't lock. One day, after the room had been cleaned, the door wasn't locked securely. That day, I had gone down for breakfast and returned to the room before heading out, and that's when I noticed the cleaning had just finished, so luckily I caught it right away... Honestly, I was on edge every day after that.

Very nice service, clean room and facilities in good condition. The position is great with only 2 mins walk to the train station. Convenient area with restaurants opening from 8am to 11pm. Best choice for train trip to suburb area around Nice. Cons: tea and milk provided is normal as in any French supermarkets. The layout of room is a bit tight. The bathroom may splash water out. Generally good hotel in Nice. Would recommend friends to visit as a safe choice in a normal budget.

The room I received didn't match the photos. I booked the 'Sea View Executive Room' based on the pictures, but the room they gave me was more aligned with a room type that's 700-800 CNY cheaper. While it was on a higher floor, it wasn't what was advertised. I tried to resolve this with the front desk, but they couldn't switch me to the room type shown in the pictures. They ended up giving me a 50 Euro credit on my bill. Overall, the front desk service was mediocre, and their problem-solving skills were lacking. I suggest the official website update their room type photos to accurately reflect what guests will receive to avoid similar misunderstandings. The sea view room faced a busy highway, so it was quite noisy. The hotel's private beach was also closed off with caution tape. Breakfast was disappointing, not much variety and didn't taste good. Would not recommend.
