Holiday Apartments in Nice

Let's be fair. The cheapest room type, the standard room, is in the basement. There's never any signal and never any Wi-Fi. The entire building renovation design makes it very cramped. Why convert a basement into rooms? Is it really suitable for living? The hotel is an old building, but it was renovated very poorly by an owner with no taste. Basically, everything used is, without exception, cheap. The hardware details in the room are really bad. The public areas are okay, I guess. The staff are very professional and friendly, five stars for them.

It's a family-run place, so if you're concerned about security or safety, make sure to use it It was a very, very kind place. The location is excellent, very close to Promenade des Anglais, and a 5-6 minute walk to Nice Beach. There's an induction cooker and microwave, and other cookware and tableware are also provided. A bowl of hot noodle soup in the morning is enough to soothe a Chinese stomach after eating white food every day. Remember to bring your own condiments. Check-in and check-out are completely self-service; I didn't see a single staff member during my three nights. There are free umbrellas, beach mats, and beach towels available for rent in the hallway, which is very convenient. There's nothing more authentic than taking your own gear and enjoying Nice Beach.

Good hotel, everything liked, very successful location

The location is convenient – about a 10-minute walk to Nice Riquier train station, and 20-25 minutes on foot to Place Masséna. Tram #1 runs nearby, and a bit further, from Place Garibaldi, you can catch tram #2 to the airport and tram #3. Across the street from the hotel is a shopping center with a Carrefour that we visited daily. The room has almost everything you need for a stay, including a well-equipped kitchenette with a two-burner stove, microwave, kettle, capsule coffee machine (we don't drink coffee, so didn't use it), refrigerator, and dishwasher (with a few tablets provided). There was also dish soap, but no sponge (we had to buy one ourselves). There was also no cutting board (we bought one too). All necessary utensils are available (though for knives, there's only a small one for vegetables and a bread knife; a larger, all-purpose knife would have been nice). For those who care, there were no cooking essentials like salt, sugar, or spices, which are usually present in apartments of this type. As warned beforehand, there's no cleaning service during your stay (there's a vacuum cleaner in the closet). You have to take out the trash yourself, and towels are not changed (there's a heated towel rail in the bathroom, which is very convenient; you can wash something and it dries quickly). The bathroom has liquid soap and shower gel, a bathtub, and a shower hose. An ironing board is available (I don't recall an iron as it wasn't needed). There's also a safe. Our stay was quite satisfying, and we would book again.

Room is clean, however the heater only work on day 1, the next day it is not working but luckily the weather is warmer

Good location and well-equipped clean room. The toilet had its own cubicle. However poor customer service on arrival served by a rude female receptionist. Required €200 deposit was a bit extreme especially for a night stay. Upon departure had a friendlier disposition that ended the stay on positive note
