The nightly rate was what made me book the room. The location was 20 min away from the concert venue we came to Charleston for. The room was clean and all of the electronics worked and made our stay comfortable.

The room smelled as soon as we entered each time that we entered. It just felt dirty. Rust stains at the bottom of the bathroom door frames and some debris in the bathtub. Crumbs and stains all over the sofa. Carpet very old and just felt dirty. The pull out mattress was lumpy, yellow, stained, and had crumbs all over. The breakfast was very minimal and low quality and the coffee was not good either. The desk clerk was kind and helpful and the staff were friendly. When we requested extra towels due to using the ones in the room to cover the pull out mattress we were told we would have to exchange with the ones we had. There were no sheets or pillows available for the pull out mattress either.

We did not have a pleasant experience at this hotel. Sofa was dirty and walls peeling. In the morning there was not hot water. During breakfast the floor was sticky. Staff was friendly but i wouldn't go back.

Super nice staff! The room was comfortable and clean. The location was convenient to places to eat and shop. Quiet and well lit for safety! Overall one of the best I have ever experienced!

When I made the reservation I included the fact we were driving from PA to SC so we would be checking in late. When we arrived to check in we were informed that the room, that was going to support 6 people which was 2 queens and a sofa bed, was not available and they were putting us in 2 king rooms. We checked in at 11:40 at night so there was nothing we could do. We tried taking showers and the water pressure was so bad the water just dripped out of the faucet. When we were finally moved to our other room, the shower worked great but the room smelled really bad.. I tried spraying perfume, nothing helped.. My last straw was our lastnight there the front desk clerk complained that my son, who is 3, was running around the room and was making a whole bunch of noise in the lobby and we needed to "keep him under control" and when my daughter told her we were putting him to sleep the reply was "good". First off he wasn't running around and if there was a problem call our room, don't complain to my daughter who just came down for replacement towels. Never, ever staying here again.. Waste of money.. On the plus side, our housekeeper was great. Can't say the same of some of the other ones.. Attitude everywhere.

Minor hassles with getting the key card working , took an hour to sort it out by moving to another room. Front desk manager and room service crew were helpful and courteous through the process. Not much options at breakfast, but manageable for short stays(2 nights) like mine. The bitter part was weird(****) odor in the hallways around where we stayed. Though advertised as non-smoking, the odor was prevalent. Location was close to some decent food and grocery shops if that matters. Has a decent equipped gym and indoor pool

We had no hot water in our shower for most of our stay. When we arrived the air conditioning in our room was set to 56 degrees. With the heat on high it took 12 hours just to get it up to 67 degrees and we struggled with it our whole stay. There was never anyone at the front desk. It is near the airport and highway so you do hear planes taking off and traffic but that was the least of my worries. This was probably one of my worst hotel experiences ive ever had.
