Comfortable very large bed, coffee and tea making facilities available. Quiet room. Meals in Hotel resturant, varied menu, food excellant, staff friendly and attentive. Location close to the coast, bycycles to hire, walking map available down to the sea.

A lovely place and excellent staff. However some of the room fittings are getting a bit tired. The food was very good but the change to a "Standard Menu" gives the impression of another chain pub. Despite the claim to use local producers, the bar was running down Norfolk gin and just one local ale. Generally it's losing its local feel.

Lovely area, lots of places to visit. hotel was great but To expensive for singles. There was no difference between prices p.p. For Double room or double room single occupant.

We had such a lovely stay at The Pheasant Hotel! The staff are all brilliant from reception to the waiters/waitresses in the restaurant. The hotel itself is really pretty, so having an afternoon drink on the lawn was an absolute joy. We stayed in the Keepers Hut, which was fabulous! You have everything you could need for a short stay, the bed was so comfortable and the claw foot bath was lovely. You have a little seating area outside so you can sit by the fire in the evenings too! We will be returning as soon as possible! New favourite!

Just returned from a visit to this hotel. Hotel is excellent. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with a well appointed bathroom. Bar is welcoming. Restaurant is pleasant with very nice decor. Staff are both friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent, hot and plentiful. Unfortunately we had some issues with dinner but it was handled perfectly by the restaurant manager( unfortunately I didn’t get her name) . Would recommend this hotel and we certainly will return.

Really enjoyed our stay. We found all staff welcoming and the environment most agreeable. The evening meal was good with a varied choice of food. We were close to Sheringham with its Steam railway and to Cley Marshes.

My husband and I have been working on a project in Holt this year, involving three short stays. Our work involved long and tiring days on site and the food and the comfort of The Pheasant was exactly what we needed. Special thanks to the chef who cooks Seabass like nobody else - it’s perfect and the lovely Yaroslava whose friendly and attentive service at dinner and breakfast was the best.

We absolutely love the Pheasant hotel, we’ve visited many times before and will do again, very warmly welcomed, spotlessly clean, wonderful food, highly recommend the restaurant. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed.
