Why this place not a 5-star we really don't understand! The Argyle is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. The level of service and friendliness of the staff is simply outstanding. The grounds are so tasteful. A quiet oasis with gorgeous views of Adam's Peak and surrounding landscape. The staff made it their business to know everything about their guests' whereabouts. We came back from Adam's Peak at noon after a very long (but fantastic) night – of course breakfast was long over. But they had a table in the restaurant ready for us and we could ask for whatever we wanted for a late breakfast. Later that evening, different staff in the restaurant asked us if we were still tired from the night's activities – and even the next day more staff asked about it. We had a Bruce room with balcony; the room was really tasteful, the website photos do not do it justice. The shower was great. The view from the balcony is just stunning – Adam's Peak in the background and wonderful sunsets. The day we arrived we had a room service lunch – a Sri Lankan dish – and it was gorgeous. The restaurant is nice – not too big and not too cold from the aircon as in so many other places. The temperature was just right. We felt totally spoiled during our stay and really did not want to leave. We've love to come back.

Fabulous boutique hotel. Staff all extremely attentive and eager to please. Spacious room with beautiful view over tea country. Food excellent. High tea was a fabulous experience. There is a walk around the area that is signposted all the way.

Lovely hotel with wonderful carding staff. Small hotel with fabulous location in the centre of the tea plantations. We had a small problem with our room so we’re moved immediately to another room with a glorious view near the pool great place to relax. The food was more limited as it’s only a small hotel. But definitely enough selection. Friendly helpful and attentive staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Argyle. The room was excellent with views over the tea plantation. The restaurant was very good, and there was a good choice of both Sri Lankan and western cuisine. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and took great care to ensure that everything was to our liking. We spent quite a lot of time travelling around the area, and so were unable to take full advantage of the excellent facilities at the Argyle, although the pool was very welcoming after long walks through the plantation. We have no hesitation in recommending the Argyle to anyone travelling to this part of Sri Lanka.

On our tour of Sri Lanka, this has been our favourite hotel for 5* comfort and service. Situated on a hillside overlooking tea plantations with mountains in the distance, this modern boutique hotel is truly impressive from the luxurious rooms with balcony overlooking the pool area to the wonderful variety of food available in the restaurant. The staff are very well trained, but friendly and courteous. We enjoyed an excellent 2 night stay and just wish it had been longer.

Totaly reccomend. Very warm welcome from ALL staff, mr. Vit****ash helped us with all requests (had one ill in the group, he helped get the doctor & medicine). Rooms are spatious, bathroom large & clean. Every detail was taken care of (gardeners, fitness, pool), dinner & breakfast almost a la carte (enough menus to choose from) !

This is our first visit to this hotel.The check in was very friendly. The high quality service and their attention towards everyone is highly appreciated. The most important thing in this hotel is its staff. Actually they are very friendly and amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The location of the hotel is great. Specially the check out was so memorable. Everything is excellent in this hotel.I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you for your great service.

We stayed two days in Argyle luxury boutique hotel .we enjoyed our stay very much.❤️ Room was very clean and comfortable.everything is well maintained.The beautiful scenery sorrounding the hotel created a refreshing a**osphere.Each and everyone in the staff treats guests with a smile on their face in every time and they made us feel at home . Everything was perfect that I think any hotel guest will feel like visiting again.❤️❤️❤️❤️
