Nice hotel near the city centre, clean quiet rooms. Parking behind the house. Very helpful and competent staff. Recommended, we will like to stay there again. The valid hygiene concept was implemented and controlled exemplified and can be stayed there despite Covid 19 quiet conscience.

I met at 22:00, after a long drive. The support of the night porter was very, very attentive. He went with me to the street to show a tip for the park search. Unfortunately, the hotel parking was already occupied, but was no problem. Breakfast buffet was good and was carefully filled. Cappuccino tasted deliciously from the machine. Unfortunately, because only 3 points were the bed built in the corner of the room very narrow. I am 1.85 large than not so huge. With the back I was at the wall and the extended hand landed on the night table lamp.. I didn't complain. Unfortunately there was no red wine in the room and the garden had already closed around the time. I would like to sneak again there but first to discuss the two points.

A stay in Wardenburg Hof is actually recommended. The hotel is located on a main crossing towards Oldenburg, but the night was quiet. The rooms were very clean and very well furnished. For the standard really beautiful. The beds have a very good mattress even if the kits are very large and a little hard. Breakfast is very balanced and everything you want. The staff is very friendly and premature. Style and construction of the hotel in the country style, something shop-showed, but really very nice.

I can't say I was overly impressed with this hotel, apart from its location close to the lake and nearby shops. It's quite old fashioned and in need of a more modern image, or a rustic theme. As you come into the reception, there's a strange medieval type dining table and chairs. The patterned wallpaper doesn't complement the mixture of modern artwork for sale on the walls either. I was staying there with a disabled family member and because the door to the small bar was too narrow for the wheelchair, we were placed in a side room which had all the atmosphere of a railway station waiting room. Having arrived after 9.00 pm, the kitchen was closed and my evening meal had to be a bowl of Bombay Mix. The rooms are clean, but again very dated. No coffee/tea making facility or bottled water. The mini bar has water, beer and wine for purchase though. The 'disabled room' my cousin shared with her daughter was positively awful. Small, no room for the wheelchair and walking frame and a view onto a nearby laurel hedge, which made it very dark. The restaurant is nice, although expensive, and the best views to the lake are from the few tables for two in the 'orangery' area. What we found particularly annoying was the staff had clearly been told to 'look busy at all times' and when they weren't serving, they were whipping off table cloths and laying for breakfast, then changing it back to dinner etc. The breakfast was fine and there was a nice variety of bread and rolls. If you want smoked salmon, you have to ask for it when they're not busy. We were three people and the waitress gave us a coffee pot that would have been just enough for two. Small details, but this hotel is marketed as 4 star - it didn't feel like it. The hotel wasn't overly busy and on my last day I asked if I could have a later check out (just before 3.00 pm instead of 11.00 am). I was told this was not possible, but I could have it until midday. No help to me at all. It's not an unpleasant place to stay, but not memorable in any way.

After the four walks, we rounded the dinner with the excellent herbal liqueur 'Herb Rudel' and went over to a relaxed evening with delicious rum of the brand 'Cocorange'. Whoever wants to be in the heart of his lady or to make a nice evening with the best Buddys, should write Burgdorfs up to the list. As a guam smash there was: - pre-food sheep cheese with cubic kernels and oil, wild herb salad and roast bread, smoked antenna with potato pumping nickel and caramelized grapes - intermittent cream soup of smoked pastinace with chips from Cartoffel & Pancetta - main corridor Breast and Kelly of Oldenburger Ente and Steak of Roastbeef with pepper sauce, pepper beans and potato gratin - Nightingale fresh baked apple strudel filled with roasted almonds, Crown beans and Marzipan on Vanille sauce Drinks: Cocorange Rum is a premium Rum from the Caribbean, stored in a bacon of eggwood and refined with fresh cocoa nuts and orange shells and is beautifully presented with great cocoa note and soft sweet fruits. The orange noodle and decent wooden noodles round the flavour. For long, you taste the cocoa noodle still in your mouth. Hirsch Rudel is a great herbal liqueur made of 31 wild herbs and hanged. The deep brown liquor has nuances of coffee, anis, caramel and chocolate. Vanilla, a malt sweet and cheesenuts are also tasteful. The service is similar to the food and can only be described as excellent. The interior was completely renewed this year and the restoration is radiated in a new and very skillful glance. 5 out of 5 points here are a must.
