Good location

The location is great. However, I was looking forward to soaking in the bath, but there was no bathtub in the room. When I booked the room, one of the room pictures has it. I was a bit disappointed.

It had been over two years since my last visit to Ottawa, and I was looking forward to a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall, I was very satisfied. The hotel has a strong historical feel, somewhat similar to the Peace Hotel in Shanghai. The location is superb. Built in 1912, the hotel's facilities are inevitably a bit dated, but the service is a big plus by North American standards. I originally booked a deluxe room, which was quite small, but the hotel upgraded me to a signature room, which was much larger and had windows on two sides offering more views. The only minor drawback was that parking is only available at the Fairmont, and the parking fee was quite expensive. I will definitely choose the Fairmont again next time I'm in Ottawa.

Facilities: Compared to hotels in Guangzhou, this one in Ottawa is barely acceptable, though it looks passable. Service: Relatively professional and good. Breakfast is decent. Tips are expected; it's up to you whether you're willing to spend or not. Parking: Because the hotel is in the city center and close to major attractions, valet parking is the only option.

The hotel boasts a superb location, right next to Parliament Hill, within walking distance of major attractions, and offers stunning nighttime views. ✨ The building itself is steeped in history, making you feel like you're staying in a castle. 🏰 The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service is professional and attentive; the front desk and concierge staff are incredibly friendly. 👍 The toiletries are from my favorite Le Labo line, with a luxurious fragrance. 🧴 Valet Parking was efficient and convenient. 🚗 Overall, it's a highly recommended experience, especially for first-time visitors to Ottawa!

This hotel is ideally located for sightseeing in Ottawa. As a historic hotel, staying there is a worthwhile experience in itself. I booked a room with a view, and it was a wonderful way to see the Parliament Buildings.
