Pu'er Hotels with Parking

I stayed for two days. The room was very clean. The bath towels, bathrobes and face towels were all packed in plastic bags, and there were also disposable ones. The running water and drinks in the room were free and replenished the next day. The face tissues were also wet. I liked the robot service the most. In order to let the robot serve more times, I stayed for two days and ordered takeout four times. The experience was super friendly and interesting! Breakfast and lunch are free and self-service, and the taste is also good. When I left, I was given a box of tea as a souvenir. I will choose this place next time I come!

The environment was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful view whwre you can see some of the sea of clouds. They give you disposable coverings for you to put on top of the fresh pillow bedding and mattress for extra hygiene which is a nice touch I haven't seen before. Bathroom is very clean, though there are only two toilets and two showers and two sinks, so do note that for busy season, but it wasn't an issue at all during my stay. They provided breakfast too, fresh milk the boss heated for me when I got up, and red sugar glutinous rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves (babas), and it was fun to get ready for the day with new friends on the balcony overlooking the village. I think the environment is very good for meeting new friends and other solo travelers- I arrived at the hostel randomly at the same time as three other girls, and we explored Manghong togetjer on the boss's recommendations for itinerary and sightseeing. And the next day the boss dropped us off at a tea roasting experience, and just as we were heading to Nuogan another girl from the hostel finished her tea roasting session, so we all went to Nuogan togetjer to play. The boss even helped load my luggage onto the shuttle bus so that it could pick me up at a sightseeing spot further down the mountain!

1. Basic room type, no privacy, the window is on the adjacent balcony. It's unbearable to stay in the room unless you draw the curtains. To protect privacy, you have to accept the room having no window. 2. Hotel prices fluctuate wildly. We paid the price of a balcony room for a basic room, and were very unhappy. 3. Don't have high expectations for the hotel's complimentary lunch and dinner. We ate out ourselves, and the food was terrible—very little food, and the dishes weren't clean. 4. The hotel was very crowded. When we checked in, there was a meeting and a wedding banquet. The laundry room was full and unusable, and the parking lot was full; we circled around three times before we could find a parking spot.

I would love to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Old Town of Chama. It may be a little tricky to find at first, but just follow Google Maps and you’ll get there easily. From the main gate of the Old Town, it’s only about a 5-minute walk. The hotel itself is quite new and very clean. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom facilities and appliances are all modern and high-quality. The soundproofing is excellent—although you might hear music and dancing outside, once inside the room it’s perfectly quiet. The location strikes a nice balance: slightly away from the hustle and bustle, yet just a few steps from plenty of food stalls and restaurants. What really makes this place special is the owners. They are a warm, welcoming family with parents, an elder sister, and two younger brothers. They don’t speak English, but communication was never a problem—we used Google Translate to chat over cups of delicious tea. If you need anything, you can always ask them. The design aesthetics are on point, with an overall understated luxury feel. The rooms are bright and airy, and attention to detail is evident. The service is refined and discreet, without being intrusive, creating a perfectly relaxed vacation vibe 🌿. I booked a room this time, and it was really high-end, offering great value for money during my trip. In the evening, they even thoughtfully delivered complimentary rice noodles, and supper was also provided – the service was excellent. Parking was convenient too. Breakfast was a bit simple, but still good enough to fill you up. Thumbs up!

If you book early, you can also get a free horseback riding experience. The fee includes three meals a day, you can swim, catch fish in the stream, watch the sunrise and sea of ​​clouds, taste coffee and pick coffee beans. It is definitely a treasure manor. It was New Year's Eve, and we prepared a self-service stir-fry, which tasted good. The self-service beef hot pot was also great, with many varieties, delicious beef, and self-service drinks. What else do you want a bicycle?

The owners, a husband and wife, are very kind and helpful. They offered to help with parking and provided travel tips for nearby attractions. The soup for the breakfast noodles was slow-cooked by the owner's wife 🤫 The nearby attractions are all incredibly beautiful.

Facilities: The facilities are relatively new and clean, and there is really no smell of cigarettes. Hot water came quickly. Hygiene: Very clean, including the sofa and bed flags in the room, the bathroom is also equipped with a disposable toilet. Breakfast: There are two breakfasts, with local red rice noodles, as well as Western milk bread and cakes. Children under 120 are free. Praise: I would like to thank the lady at the front desk of the hotel very much. Because I left in a hurry, I forgot to collect the child's teddy bear doll from the quilt when I left. That was my child's Abebei. As mothers know, although it looks like a discarded short-legged teddy bear doll, it is really important to my child. I found it more than 12 hours after leaving the hotel and called the front desk to look for it. When they heard that it was so important to us, they did not perfunctorily deal with it, but kept looking for the cleaning lady and the brother in charge of linens. After three days of non-stop searching, they finally found it in the factory of the linen cleaning company and delivered it back to the lady at the front desk of the hotel in time. After adding WeChat for confirmation, they handed it to the SF Express courier to send it back to us. The child was really happy when she saw her teddy bear was found. We had almost no hope, they were really caring and made our family feel very warm. Recommended to everyone, this is a very warm hotel! Extremely satisfied! The place was clean and tidy, and the room was immaculate. The service was exceptional; it's rare to encounter such a wonderful owner who truly anticipates and addresses guests' needs. Absolutely fantastic! It's also quite close to the station, and the owner was very prompt with pick-up and drop-off, couldn't ask for more. Definitely a five-star review, highly recommend staying here. All the reviews are true, but it’s not the wooden building that causes it.  Yes, it is very loud and you hear everyone. We’ve stayed in other fully wooden places, it’s worse here. Maybe not the wood but the guests are the problem. Loud Chinese people, walking the stairs with the heaviest pace you can imagine. Maybe help the other guests by hanging some warnings on the stairs: please be mindful for the other guests when walking to your room.  Also loud Chinese tourist on the square below. Not only while eating they scream all over the place, also with the tea ceremony nobody asks them to please stop talking after 23:00/24:00. We were up till 02:00AM because of tea drinking Chinese people at the fire. We stayed in the suite, which is located above the fire pit. Maybe the other rooms are less noisy. At 7AM each morning, somebody ran down the stairs. We think it’s the staff. It wakes you up through your earplugs.  The staff is OK. They are very shy, not rude. They could be more pro active though as we didn’t feel like they wanted to do something.. which is different to rude but also not very friendly.  The other villages around are way bigger and less cozy than Wengji. Also, with this guesthouse being just next to the town, it was perfect to escape the tourists most of the time. We didn’t find other accommodations in Wengji with the same aesthetics as Shishi guesthouse so we can’t recommend other places better than this. Maybe if the guesthouse would invest in trying to keep the noise down under the various guests, with text signs or with clearer house rules (fire pit), the noise problem wouldn’t be as bad.  Maybe if they tried to enthusiast their staff more and keep them from watching Chinese drama shows on their phones all day, they would be a bit more welcoming.  We’ve met a lot of amazing people in Wengji, it’s definitely not the locals that have this behaviour.  Lastly, the suite has a cubicle bathroom in the room, they really don’t clean this well. It smells very bad and just feels dirty all over.  For comfort this place is too expensive, for the location and aesthetics you won’t find better options nearby.
