The hotel in Yunnan was such a pleasant surprise! The rooms were spacious and clean, each with a garden terrace where you could even see the stars on a clear day. The price was also very reasonable, and breakfast and lunch were provided. It was very quiet, and there was a huge swimming pool, meeting rooms, and a tea room – it was fantastic!

The environment was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful view whwre you can see some of the sea of clouds. They give you disposable coverings for you to put on top of the fresh pillow bedding and mattress for extra hygiene which is a nice touch I haven't seen before. Bathroom is very clean, though there are only two toilets and two showers and two sinks, so do note that for busy season, but it wasn't an issue at all during my stay. They provided breakfast too, fresh milk the boss heated for me when I got up, and red sugar glutinous rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves (babas), and it was fun to get ready for the day with new friends on the balcony overlooking the village. I think the environment is very good for meeting new friends and other solo travelers- I arrived at the hostel randomly at the same time as three other girls, and we explored Manghong togetjer on the boss's recommendations for itinerary and sightseeing. And the next day the boss dropped us off at a tea roasting experience, and just as we were heading to Nuogan another girl from the hostel finished her tea roasting session, so we all went to Nuogan togetjer to play. The boss even helped load my luggage onto the shuttle bus so that it could pick me up at a sightseeing spot further down the mountain!

Quiet part of town near the lake. Easy to pick up/drop off since there isn't much traffic. Hotel is clean and comfortable. The night time snack is a nice touch, mainly 1 congee and 2 sweet dessert soups.

The room was spacious and bright, the bedding soft and clean, and the facilities complete and thoughtful. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. The view from the window was pleasant, and the service was attentive and warm. It's truly great value for money, and I will definitely come back again!

I would love to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Old Town of Chama. It may be a little tricky to find at first, but just follow Google Maps and you’ll get there easily. From the main gate of the Old Town, it’s only about a 5-minute walk. The hotel itself is quite new and very clean. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom facilities and appliances are all modern and high-quality. The soundproofing is excellent—although you might hear music and dancing outside, once inside the room it’s perfectly quiet. The location strikes a nice balance: slightly away from the hustle and bustle, yet just a few steps from plenty of food stalls and restaurants. What really makes this place special is the owners. They are a warm, welcoming family with parents, an elder sister, and two younger brothers. They don’t speak English, but communication was never a problem—we used Google Translate to chat over cups of delicious tea. If you need anything, you can always ask them. They are very friendly and genuinely do their best to help. แนะนำเลยค่ะสำหรับใครที่มาเที่ยวเมืองเก่า Chama โรงแรมอาจหายากนิดหน่อย แต่เดินตาม Google Maps มาก็เจอไม่ยาก จากประตูเมืองเก่าเดินเพียง 5 นาทีเท่านั้น ที่พักใหม่มาก สะอาด ห้องกว้าง เตียงนอนสบาย อุปกรณ์ในห้องน้ำและเครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้าทันสมัย คุณภาพดี ที่สำคัญเก็บเสียงได้ดีมาก ข้างนอกจะมีเสียงเต้นรำบ้าง แต่พอเข้าห้องแล้วเงียบสงบ เดินออกมาไม่กี่ก้าวก็มีของกินเพียบ สิ่งที่ประทับใจที่สุดคือเจ้าของโรงแรมค่ะ เป็นครอบครัวใหญ่ที่น่ารักและอบอุ่นมาก ถึงจะพูดภาษาอังกฤษไม่ได้ แต่ก็ไม่ใช่ปัญหาเลย ใช้ Google Translate คุยกันสบาย ๆ แถมยังได้ดื่มชาที่อร่อยมากอีกด้วย ถ้ามีปัญหาหรืออยากได้ความช่วยเหลือ พวกเขาพร้อมช่วยเต็มที่จริง ๆ

The host and his wife are very nice and helpful - thanks again! Dont miss the delicious tee the family is producing themselves. There is a nice roof terrace for breakfast and a nice restaurant just on the other side of street.

Oh my goodness I have never stayed in a place like this! We live in a noisy city and come here felt like being in heaven. So peaceful and quiet. Our kids loved trying to catch fireflies in the night. We took a walk quite a distance from our cabin towards the hills and came back whrn it was pretty dark. We were able to see the milky way galaxy across the sky and so many stars that the only other place we ever saw tjat many stars was back in my country in the village with no light pollution. Words cannot describe the tranquility of this placed the magnificence of nature and the peace and quite. The nights are so dark and quiet, felt like being somewhere in wild savanna. I heard some sounds of animals I had never heard before. We will seriously make this place our frequent holiday detination for peace and quiet, nature and mental healing. There were quite a number of activities for the kids but our kids were too young to participate. We were just quite happy going for walks and watching the stars at night. The grass looked so inviting and we wanted to roll down the hills hahaha but it was all fenced, which makes sense for safety. We heard there was a heard of elephants nearby. We also loved in when it rained, the sound of raindrops on the leaves outside and on our leaves. It’s definitely a place for poets and writers, artists and creative people. I was truly inspired and I mostly sat outside when the babies were napping, and read my Lord of the rings book that I took with me, as that place reminded me of hobbit-land and magic. Coffee lovers must go, we had as many cups of coffee as we liked. They also offered us hotpot for dinner and lunch.

The rooms are extremely spacious and clean and the host is extremely nice! He offered us a ride to the train station and helped us out when we had some troubles withdrawing cash😁 A bit far from the city but if you're in pu'er for a short stay this is definitely a great place to stay!

Facilities: The facilities are relatively new and clean, and there is really no smell of cigarettes. Hot water came quickly. Hygiene: Very clean, including the sofa and bed flags in the room, the bathroom is also equipped with a disposable toilet. Breakfast: There are two breakfasts, with local red rice noodles, as well as Western milk bread and cakes. Children under 120 are free. Praise: I would like to thank the lady at the front desk of the hotel very much. Because I left in a hurry, I forgot to collect the child's teddy bear doll from the quilt when I left. That was my child's Abebei. As mothers know, although it looks like a discarded short-legged teddy bear doll, it is really important to my child. I found it more than 12 hours after leaving the hotel and called the front desk to look for it. When they heard that it was so important to us, they did not perfunctorily deal with it, but kept looking for the cleaning lady and the brother in charge of linens. After three days of non-stop searching, they finally found it in the factory of the linen cleaning company and delivered it back to the lady at the front desk of the hotel in time. After adding WeChat for confirmation, they handed it to the SF Express courier to send it back to us. The child was really happy when she saw her teddy bear was found. We had almost no hope, they were really caring and made our family feel very warm. Recommended to everyone, this is a very warm hotel! I will bring my children and family to stay in this hotel in the future! Thank you!

Great hotel right at the entrance to the Wenji village. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Staff were friendly & helpful, making tea for us in the evening & helping book transport around the mountain & back to Pu’er after check out. Enjoyed my stay there & in the Jingmai Tea Mountain area
