Guest UserHad a change of plans and was not able to make this trip to Reims and therefore wanted to try cancel with Trip.com despite booking a non cancellable reservation. In the end, it was sadly not possible as the parties involved were unwilling to be accommodating so in the end I had to rearrange my schedule to avoid losing USD 200.
The gentleman at the front desk when we arrived was friendly and welcoming. He suggested we use the entrance with the ramp to bring up our luggage instead of the more conspicuous swing doors.
The room was on 6F and was ok. For the price I was hoping for more space. There is a weird shelf ledge against the wall where the TV is that was spanning across multiple walls that was annoying and dangerous since it was set at around 1.5 meters high off the ground. I bumped my shoulder a few times so it really is a hazard and should be removed if it isn’t purposeful.
The room is otherwise furnished in a modern and simple way. Wooden floors and plain wall tiles make it look clean and well kept.
The LED lighting strips in the walls and ceiling are distracting and would be better to be removed. It’s hard to watch TV with the glare and reflections off the flatscreen.
Minimal amenities and breakfast not included. Shower pressure was not strong and so I took longer than usual.
All in all, I would imagine this to be 20-30% cheaper for what was on offer in terms of experience and furnishings.

Hotel near the rail station and at the edge of the city centre. We were fortunate to secure a car park space in the hotel’s own car park although initially the staff said that it was full and we had to park nearby.
The room was reasonably large. The breakfast was OK but the hot food was slightly disappointing during the first two mornings but improved on the day we checked out.

Cass FreshFantastic location right next to the cathedral !
Easy to get around the city center and many restaurants options near by.
The rooms are a bit old but considering the location it may be the best option in the area.
Highly recommended !

The staff began to solve the problem with our Russian translations immediately, did not become specially stressed on this occasion, little, we were given free of charge the second number (apartments), because when they saw the growth of our child, said, That on the coffin (couch) it will not be comfortable, on the growth he injected..., shortly, we are in shock! A pleasant shock! ) The apartments are huge, perfectly equipped, very spacious bath-shower, super clean! To the center-mah 15 minutes walk, it is better to walk than in a noisy, problem center to take off the house (in the historic center of the problem: water, sewerage, thunder). In general, this hotel recommends!

Do consider staying at this hotel if you’re visiting Reims with a car. With a 7-minute drive from the city center, you get a more spacious room with facilities much more than a 3-star. We couldn’t manage to arrive on time for check-in, but they have kindly found out an alternative to work it out. Attached photo displays the outdoor patio to our room!

miss banzaiFor those who want to be in the center of Reims it is perfectly located. However be aware that you will be in the middle where it's happening, and you will hear the noise through the window. Staff are friendly. Room was ok, it was a quite old and small but clean. The choice for breakfast was limited, make sure you go before 8am otherwise you will have limited choice.

Guest UserCheck-in at Hôtel des Arcades was easy, and the staff were helpful, friendly and very welcoming, which made a good first impression.
The room itself was fine, although it was warm. However, the bathroom was disappointing. Taking a shower felt a little like being in a caravan, with the curtain touching the toilet, and once the shower had been used the toilet area was wet. The door also did not close properly.
Overall, the hotel could definitely do with some TLC. Given its location in such a great city, a few thoughtful touches, such as photographs or local artwork on the walls, would really help give the place more character and make it feel more connected to its surroundings.

Good for a sleep and a shower, but I'd be sad to have to stay more than one night. It's one up from a tent. Double bed room is a bed above another bed on mezzanine floor with a steep ladder to practice mountain climbing. Sound is a problem here as it migrates from next door and outside. Bring ear plugs

Simple, and practical for a short stay. Quiet surroundings. Parking near the entrance, breakfast in the main building, which was acceptable. Bathroom had a bath and shower in it. The glass to avoid splashing doesn't work, since it is far too small and the bathroom floor gets wet and one risks falling.
In all not a bad hotel for the price charged.

I am a little mitigated about my stay in this hotel. A litch at the top, beautiful surface of the room. But level equipment.. Nothing. No soap in the distributors, half-scrapped toilet glasses, very old moquette. It seems that nothing is done to bring the client back.
I welcome the staff's sympathy.
