GGuest UserA question to think about, ‘What makes a hotel a luxury one?’ To me, it’s luxury because of the hospitality of the staff, quality of the property and the food they provided totally exceed travellers’ expectations, and as a result, we would love to pay more for the experience. Some staff really tried their very best to help me during my stay while some just didn’t. Upon arrival, I tried to communicate with the staff that I’d like to cancel my third night’s dinner because of the change of my plan. At first, I booked six meals in total and I’d only want to cancel one dinner and they said I needed to pay 100% for the cancelled meal because they have already bought the ingredients. Okay, I tried to understand that because they had already taken away my credit card and there’s nothing I could do about that and I thought it must be a very nice meal and that’s why they insisted that. Disappointingly, the portion was so small and paying the same amount of money I could get so much better food in 虹夕諾雅 or any other five star onsen hotels in Japan. As a result, I went to bed feeling hungry and eating the snacks I bought for myself :( The food portions are like a bento instead of a proper meal. ) Also, the Western style breakfast was so overpriced and the avocado in the omelette was not fresh at all. One more thing to note is that the complimentary champagne service they provided to their guests. It’s a nice experience but maybe I’m just a lady travelling alone and I couldn’t speak Japanese at all, the waitress didn’t serve me the same way as she served other people in the cafe. When all of them got two glasses of free drinks, one cocktail and one champagne, she only gave me one champagne and didn’t offer me the cocktail. And the day after, there was a nice staff who served me properly and I finally realized that I am entitled to two drinks. (Sigh)The experience was like buying a Chanel bag. The bag was pricey but the chain of the bag just suddenly fall apart while you are using it for the very first time. My advice is: Don’t use their catering services especially for the in-room dining plan. There are so many better choices out there in the city. The room and the service of the staff are great tho.

AAnonymous UserNice Japanese style experience. The room was really nice and big size, very traditional. The breakfast was good but I was expected more, but at the end it was ok. The owner was kind but seemed a bit stressed about visitors. I recommend to visit Hotobit but if you don’t have lot of luggage’s to carry because is a bit far away from the city center by walk also from any restaurant. The good think is that is a 5 minutes by walk far from the bus stop.

GGuest UserHotel location is a bit far from the subway station, if you drag the suitcase, it is more difficult, there is a slope. I lived in the 303 with an open-air hot spring room. The room environment was quite good, but there was a wooden ceiling above the hot spring pool, but there was often a bird's eye view to stay. If you shit, you just fell into the hot spring... I saw that there was feces in the bathtub. In the end, there was no hot spring. But the waiter service is very thoughtful, this gives full marks. Every table can also order songs when eating, this has a surprise.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the subway station, making it incredibly easy to find upon exit. Just diagonally across from the hotel, there's a bustling shopping street, offering great convenience for dining and shopping. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel with direct service to Nara Park, allowing you to get off and leisurely explore the area. We booked a room including breakfast, which was a buffet. The front desk staff were also very friendly and welcoming. If you arrive early, you can even store your luggage with them and go explore before check-in.

Vvsq****The room was small, but spotlessly clean and well-maintained, equipped with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast selection was quite varied, and the service was attentive and courteous. A good hotel overall.

GGuest UserThe stay experience exceeded expectations! Five-star recommendation for this treasure hotel! This stay completely refreshed my perception of business hotels! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was impressed by the hotel's modern and simple style and the warm and thoughtful service of the staff. The front desk lady smiled kindly and reminded me of the surrounding traffic routes when checking in. The details were perfect! The room was even more surprising! The room was spacious and bright, the floor-to-ceiling windows had a wide view, and the softness of the bedding was comparable to the Simmons mattress at home. The service was really heartwarming.

GGuest UserIt is not far from Nara JR Station and Kintetsu Station, but Kintetsu Station is relatively closer. I checked in during my birthday. I informed the hotel in advance and received a handwritten card and a bag of konpeito when I checked in. There is no need to clean up and there are free cans of sparkling wine or barley tea. I added a Japanese dinner, and when I was almost done with the meal, the restaurant staff also brought free small cakes with candles and fruit platters, which was very touching. The rooms are all sliding doors, with a tatami area, which is very large and clean. There are free white pajamas to change every day. The bathroom and toilet are separated into wet and dry areas, and there are two hair dryers. There is free coffee and matcha milk on the first floor. You can mix your own sparkling wine before 21 o'clock in the evening, and the souvenir shop is also open before 22 o'clock to buy some specialties. There is a free 1-hour walking tour of Nara street buildings at 7 o'clock on weekends. Just inform the hotel in advance to make an appointment. There is a non-hot spring hot spring bath on the basement floor, but I didn't experience it due to the itinerary. The breakfast is a buffet of Japanese scenic spots. The egg rolls are delicious, and the fruit is as good as cantaloupe. A very pleasant stay experience

AAnonymous UserThis is a great choice for solo travelers. It's located on Nara's main street, perfectly situated between Kintetsu Nara Station and JR Nara Station, offering easy access to all the major sights. There are numerous dining options nearby, and I'd advise against eating at the hotel as the prices are quite high. It's excellent for an overnight stay and provides great value for money. Although the rooms are small, they're well-equipped, and you can even take a bath to relax and wash away the day's tiredness. The view is alright. If you're after luxury, there are plenty of 4- and 5-star hotels in the area.

11358841****The hotel is located right next to Nara Park, but it's a 20-minute uphill walk from Nara Station, which can be quite tiring if you're lugging luggage. The room is a good size, and I appreciate the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom.

GGuest UserThe location is right in the shopping street and also at the Kintetsu exit, it is only 15 minutes to go to the park. The staff is warm and courteous, the hot springs are fine but quiet enough. The hotel is old but tidy, there is no daily necessities except old towels, including a blow dryer in the hot spring area, and there is nothing towels lock. Of course, this price can't be too much, remember this is a hotel. I was impressed by the invincible location and courteous staff, I can't say whether I like it or not.
